Tucked into the woods, a short distance from Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine Trail. The shared modern bath house is a short walk from the site with running potable water and a shower. A perfect getaway for friends, couples or small families! This listing is for one of 4 raised platform tents, located at the top of a hill, with a beautiful view. The tent has 1 full bed and 1 twin bed, a set of shelves and drawers for storage, and front porch to relax on. There is a fire pit, outhouses, outdoor showers (cold only!), trails in the woods to roam, and stream to wade in. Bring your groceries - there is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with grills, fridges, and all the necessities!

We are located 2 miles from the small town of Guilford, NY that has, small picturesque Guilford Lake.

The Porch at Alchemized Acres

Nestled in the woods, The Porch is a peaceful, private retreat—a cozy canvas tent with two porches and an outdoor shower beneath the trees. Located on 5 acres shared with a family homestead, it’s surrounded by wildflowers, gardens, and a roadside farmstand out front. Screenhouse on the side of the West Canada Creek. Please note this is a 1000 foot walk from your vehicle unless you have a 4wd or all wheel drive vehicle. Site includes a 10 ft by 10 ft screenhouse, picnic table, and outhouse, fire pit, 2 chairs, but no bed. Have 115 acres of farm to explore along the creek, swim in the creek, bring your kayak, tube down the river, or fish for trout in the creek. Please note the river can get busy in the summer on weekends with tubers. Str-00021

Steady Slope Hummingbird (Fully Supported Site)

Please note we do not allow guests in the tent to check in after dark; giving a good orientation to the property in the dark is very difficult. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule! We're keeping this site open week-to-week weather dependent. There is no wood stove in this tent. Please see our other listing, the Hermit Thrush for a wood stove in the tent. The tent will be furnished with a small propane heater which is adequate when ambient temperatures are not too low.

In the Oaks

"In the Oaks" is our first glamping site at the Green Heron, nestled among the oak trees. No set up is required, everything is ready for you! We have a queen size bed made up with cozy linens, lanterns, a deck with comfortable chairs, a picnic table and fire pit. There is no electricity or running water on site. A composting outhouse is a short walk down a dirt road of around 200 yards.
