Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Central Louisiana

Beautiful and comfortable home. Great kitchen and well stocked. The grill was a hit allowing us to grill burgers/sausage for family. Plenty of towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels just to name a few items to make our stay perfect. The coffee bar and waffle set up was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

We had a great weekend celebrating the wedding of our son and new daughter-in-law! Their wedding officiant and came to the house for the ceremony which they did right out on the dock. It was a beautiful setting for photos. We loved the house - everything was so clean and comfortable. The porch swing was lovely - a few more good rocking chairs would be great so everything can enjoy the comfort and beauty of the views from the porch. We loved the firepit and the availability of camp chairs to all sit around it. The dining room table was perfect for playing cards and enjoying meals together. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Thank you, Lori, for the work you put into renovating this place and opening it up for visitors. We were in town for a funeral held at the Tabernacle so we could not have been in a more convenient spot. Your place was clean and inviting. My sister and I grew up coming to Dry Creek to spend time with our grandparents. When we would drive in at night time and saw this place with its lights on, it would mean we were almost to our destination. Dry Creek and the people there have always held a special piece of our hearts. I walked into this home and teared up with the nostalgia of it all. Imagine what a fun surprise when I was reading the framed Lake Charles article and saw my grandmother - Kathleen King - quoted! We look forward to staying again!

I had a great stay at this Airbnb. The place was very clean, well-kept, and had everything I needed. It felt safe and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. The owner was very responsive and always quick to answer any questions I had. What really stood out was that they kindly allowed me to check out late, which helped a lot with my travel plans. I really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Our weekend at A Frame of Mind in Toledo Bend was truly special. From the moment we walked in, we felt cared for. The A-frame was spotless, beautifully decorated, and smelled wonderful. Jade was such a kind and thoughtful host—she reached out with helpful info, including fishing guides and fun spots for the kids. We loved the screened-in porch with its cozy swing and big TV. The backyard was magical—grilling steaks, sitting by the fire, and enjoying the sweet s’mores kit Jade left for us. The cornhole setup under the lights was so much fun, and the mural behind it made for beautiful family photos. We fished for crappie and sun perch right off the back. One of my favorite moments was kayaking through the still water under pecan and pine trees into Toledo Bend—spotting squirrels, bluebirds, woodpeckers, turtles, and even a raccoon across the waterway. Peaceful, quiet, and full of wonder. We can’t wait to return ❤️

Thank you for letting us stay at your Airbnb! The AC unit stopped working and Kaylan quickly called me and was there shortly to grt it fixed. Loved the outdoor grill and felt right at home

We took a small two night mid weak get away from the normal day life of the Farm and it did the job perfectly. Weather kept us from renting or bringing in a boat. But Boat house is nice with the lift. Would come back here again. Will bring boat and hopefully more time.

David is an outstanding host, and the fishing cabin is on an amazing property that allows for seclusion and privacy if you want to relax when not casting a line. As a host, David often checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and would even sit with us and offer fishing tips, which helped me as a new angler. Overall, Toledo Bend is an outstanding lake with surprisingly low boat traffic and several available guides for both crappie and bass, and I would not hesitate to recommend staying with David at Jack's Anglers Hideaway.

This place was amazing, im sad we had to leave so quickly it looks exactly like the pictures. It was amazingly clean when we got there easy instructions to get in. It was private. It was comfortable me and my wife loved it for our stay.

Suzy's place was even better than described. The photos don't do it justice, great amenities, well stocked. They really thought of everything and more. Beautiful, peaceful location with a great spot on the front porch for morning coffee.

Just what we were looking for after staying in some not so nice places on our hunting trips

Our stay here was amazing! We enjoyed the cabin as it had everything we needed and then some. The cabin itself was beautiful!! Very clean! Kids enjoyed the loft area which had games, toys and a Nintendo 64. It also had a futon and foam blocks which the kids used to make forts. The kids picked up pretty rocks and splashed in the creek that was within walking in the property. We didn’t get to use the volleyball court or tetherball due to our weekend being so packed but we will definitely save that for next time. At night, we very much enjoyed the hot tub and building fires while swinging in the hammock chairs. So relaxing! The river that we went fishing at is only 5 minutes away and the lake was only 2 minutes away.! Oh yea, and our dogs had the time of their lives too! So much room for them to run wild! Our host was amazing. He was very responsive to any questions we had and was fast to reply. We will definitely be back to this little piece of paradise ❤️

Our favorite lake house, by far. Spacious enough for 8 adults with 3 boats, with plenty of options to enjoy the beautiful lake whether from the balcony, concreted grond level, pier/ boat dock, kayaks or float pad, we took it all in! Thank you Megan, you are an excellent host!

Maureen was easy to work with, the instructions left for check-in and check-out were simple and easy. The house was cozy and the a/c kept the temperature just right. I loved that Maureen left charcoal and lighter fluid on the grill for us. I will be booking Erma’s again

Our stay At Ruby’s Cottage was amazing! We enjoyed this quaint home away from home. Quiet and peaceful stay on Lake Vernon. My boys loved the dock for fishing. I loved the early morning sunrises with my coffee on the dock. We loved the beautiful flowers around the property. I could smell the scent of gardenias as soon as stepped out of my car. We will definitely stay at Ruby’s Cottage again!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice little cabin in a great spot on Toledo Bend. Host was extremely fast on responding and even gave me a call instead of emailing or texting. Would definitely stay here again.

Place was great, loved the swing on the back porch overlooking the water. Every afternoon we would sit and watch the geese and duck swim around.

Great view of the water and peace and quiet would go back and Peter is very nice and helpful.

The pictures don't do justice how beautiful and amazing it is...and the fishing 👌kids loved it and the outdoor bar hangout was nice smoking some ribs drinking and cold one while enjoying the view couldn't ask for more...
