Vacation rentals with a kayak in Central Louisiana

Great cabin, clean , accommodating several guest. We had originally reserved for 2 guest . By computer I made a change in guest number adding 3 making a total of 5 overnight guest. This didn’t reach the host and we were confronted by the owner who lives next door. I would suggest physically reaching out to the host for any reservation changes to avoid any confrontations. There were lots of things to do, such as kayak, paddle boat and dock for fishing. Overall great stay.

Beautiful and comfortable home. Great kitchen and well stocked. The grill was a hit allowing us to grill burgers/sausage for family. Plenty of towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels just to name a few items to make our stay perfect. The coffee bar and waffle set up was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Our weekend at A Frame of Mind in Toledo Bend was truly special. From the moment we walked in, we felt cared for. The A-frame was spotless, beautifully decorated, and smelled wonderful. Jade was such a kind and thoughtful host—she reached out with helpful info, including fishing guides and fun spots for the kids. We loved the screened-in porch with its cozy swing and big TV. The backyard was magical—grilling steaks, sitting by the fire, and enjoying the sweet s’mores kit Jade left for us. The cornhole setup under the lights was so much fun, and the mural behind it made for beautiful family photos. We fished for crappie and sun perch right off the back. One of my favorite moments was kayaking through the still water under pecan and pine trees into Toledo Bend—spotting squirrels, bluebirds, woodpeckers, turtles, and even a raccoon across the waterway. Peaceful, quiet, and full of wonder. We can’t wait to return ❤️

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Fat Cat. The water views are expansive. Lots of different seating areas to spread out both inside and out. The kayaks, life vests, and the floating pad were great to have, and the kids loved using them and floating in the water. We did not have much success fishing.. but that's how fishing goes. The beds were all very comfortable, the linens clean, and lots of pillow options.

It was awesome. Karon was very attentive to our needs. Beautiful home. Will definitely recommend.

This Airbnb is an absolute dream. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home; warm, welcoming, and perfectly peaceful. The house is immaculate! Super clean and beautifully decorated, with every little detail thoughtfully prepared to make your stay unforgettable. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and we all slept like babies. The screened-in porch is our favorite hangout spot! The view of the lake is breathtaking, and it was the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning or wind down in the evening watching the gorgeous sunsets. The amenities truly are above and beyond. A golf cart made getting around a breeze, and having access to a boat, grill, and fryer meant we never needed to leave! Whether you’re looking to fish, relax, cook out, or just sit and soak in the peaceful surroundings, this place has it all. And the host? Absolutely exceptional. They go above and beyond in every possible way from communication to thoughtful touches that made the whole experience extra special

Everything about it is excellent A great accommodation in the bayou with peach Cannes, boat available. Comfort bedding.

Tim’s place provided excellent accommodations for our family trip. As is customary with Louisiana weather, the screened porch let us enjoy the outdoors while being protected from the rain storms. We will be returning next year.

Beautiful views. Great cabin. Better than pics show. Clean clear water and a wonderful dock. We docked our bass boat overnight, steps to the house. My picky wife enjoyed as well.

Our favorite lake house, by far. Spacious enough for 8 adults with 3 boats, with plenty of options to enjoy the beautiful lake whether from the balcony, concreted grond level, pier/ boat dock, kayaks or float pad, we took it all in! Thank you Megan, you are an excellent host!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The 2nd night there a huge storm hit and we lost electricity. Within an hour they had the generator up and running for us! I just hope every Airbnb I ever stay in has such wonderful hosts! The house fit our huge family perfectly. They even had toys for the infant grandbabies so we didn’t have to pack as much. The kitchen was beyond fully stocked for a great vacay. And T he views were AMAZING!!!

The house and location were perfect for us. We were in town for a graduation at LSMSA. We were 15 minutes from the school. There were 8 of us and a baby with 2 dogs. There was plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed the dock and both porches. It was very relaxing between all of the activities. I would recommend staying here.

The pictures don't do justice how beautiful and amazing it is...and the fishing 👌kids loved it and the outdoor bar hangout was nice smoking some ribs drinking and cold one while enjoying the view couldn't ask for more...
