This is an upstairs loft located in the vibrant Capital Heights mid city Baton Rouge area, in the midst of wonderful restaurants and night life. The Loft is in a separate building from my home, you will have the whole space to yourself. Guest will have the pergola and the fenced in backyard yard for their use The neighborhood has a wonderful street running through the middle of it for running, walking and bike riding. This is a guest suite attached to our home. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s only a 10 min walk to Baton Rouge Main Public Library and Botanical Gardens. This space is perfect for a maximum of 4 people as it is furnished with a queen size bed and a sofa bed. This Airbnb has a full size refrigerator, a kitchenette that has a microwave, an air fryer, crockpot, coffee maker (NOT keurig), toaster and waffle maker, blender and rice cooker. Parking is available on driveway.

The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. From the first time I booked I felt like I was choosing the right location to stay. Everything was smooth and easy. Her response time is immaculate especially that’s important for someone who constantly travels and books last minute. Everything was clean and very up to date. The photos did not justice. Every amenity you will need was available inside the home. I have no complaints and definitely am looking forward to booking in the near future.

Lovely property as well as proactive, hospitable host! Kris had good availability for our needs, shared concise and good instructions, and was fast and friendly in communicating. The home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood that also allows for easy access for wherever you may need to go. You can tell he’s pro from the spotless and comfortable home all the way to the streamlined and very convenient experience. 10/10 would recommend and would book again! Lastly, I left a personal item at the house after check-out, but Kris was understanding and allowed me to retrieve it — thank you again, Kris!
