Mikes place was perfect for a short stay. Very clean with everything we needed. Lovely peaceful location, coffee van in walking distance and Maitland Bay beach.

Ann was a great host her place is beautiful and the oldest on the Island. Personally loved the waterbed and the gardens are great. Breakfast was a really nice experience, calming views of the lake. Movie room was full of old cd’s to choose from. And fireplace was superrr Would love to stay again!

We loved staying at Shauna's place in Spencer. A lovely secluded house and cabin in Breakfast creek. the house is expansive and cosy with plentiful amenities. We loved feeding and petting the beautiful horses as well - Molly was definitely the most inquisitive ❤️

Extremely gracious hosts let our 5 and 7 year old help feed the horses and goats and Honey the sweet pony. Met a few of the 6 cats and 3 dogs and the neighbouring cows. We all received some horse tending and competing information. Another highlight which was so unusual and awesome: we saw a fallen tree on the street outside their house on the way to get dinner at the nearby golf club, and we had to turn around to go the other way. I messaged Giselle to alert them to call whoever would take care of it. Peter goes out with his chain saw and clears it from the road immediately! Accommodation were rustic but clean. Fluffy towels. There's an outdoor billiards table, trampoline and swing. Our kids enjoyed looking in the pond for the hidden koi and especially looking at and petting the many, many animals. The pool was beautiful but too chilly in Autumn months. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, basic spices, milk and orange juice! Overall a fantastic stay, would recommend!

This was the second time we stayed here. We love the farm. Beautiful surroundings, simple cottage with all you need. The best part this time was that we were allowed to help out on the farm, opening the chuck pens, feeding the chicken, helping Jenny to feed the horses, goats, sheep etc. it made the farm stay purposeful and just made us appreciate how much work goes into it. Love to come back again.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay. The house was just over an hours drive from Sydney so made the commute over the long weekend easy. The house was spacious, well equipped and the pool was fantastic. Each bedroom has an ensuite and the multiple living spaces were perfect for 2 families. The house is situated on a broodmare farm so we were surrounded by mares and their foals, which was really special. There is so much to do in the area or you can just relax at the farm. We will definitely be back…

Jackie is easily the best host we’ve had. Extremely responsive and friendly. The place itself is great; not too far away from big shopping centres and activities but also tucked away in a natural environment with horses and the friendliest dog in the world: loola. We stayed in this particular cabin for 3 months and it felt like home the entire time. Cannot fault the place at all and it has made our journey in Australia that much more enjoyable. Clean and has everything you could need for extended stays.

Our stay was amazing the view from the property was to die for, Alex was super quick to respond and was accomodating in every way. The house was clean and tidy it has endless amounts of activities we could do at the property from kayaking to playing pool and fuse ball. Highly recommend this place!

We used the house as a base for our daughter’s wedding on the recommendation of a friend who had done the same. It proved to be a great idea as the house provided ample space and facilities for bridesmaids and our family. The grounds and house were perfect for wedding prep photos and videos. The setting is beautiful with sweeping bush views beyond grassy paddocks. Everyone who stayed with us agreed it was perfect for us and we may be back in the future for another wedding!

Great property for a group or family with plenty of comfy bedding. Lots of towels & provisions like soft drinks and milk in the fridge & assorted chocolates on the table. Kitchen has plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils, appliances, glassware etc. Meredith was easy to contact, she was responsive and very accommodating of our needs.

We absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation was perfect for our little family. My 4 and 2 year-old especially enjoyed feeding the chickens and goats- it was such a highlight for them. Lucy the dog was a sweet surprise and made a few visits, which the kids adored. The pantry was generously stocked with goodies (including marshmallows to toast over the fire pit!), which was such a thoughtful touch. Kirsten and Paul were incredibly responsive and welcoming- they even left a lovely birthday present for my daughter and brought over extra chicken food when she ran out! We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to come back.

We had a great night away here. We went to 8 at Trinity which was a recommendation from Fiona which was amazing then came back to the place. Everything was as described and lovely - great communication and very friendly. The fire pit was our favourite part of the stay very peaceful and relaxing :) would recommend.

Camille was a really wonderful host. The cabin was nice and tidy with very clear instructions. She also accommodated my request to surprise my boyfriend. Will definitely be going back there!!!! 10/10 for everything.

Booked Leah’s space for my wife to get ready for before our wedding. Then stayed there on our Wedding night. Only complaint was we didn’t stay long enough. Leah is quick to respond, and helpful when we reached. We will be booking again.

We had a wonderful time staying at Philip and Hung’s home, located in a very peaceful, private and serene location. So many amenities! One of our highlights was meeting Kiko & Cindy, very friendly dogs. Our room was comfortable and clean, no problems whatsoever. Philip and Hung are fantastic hosts and we look forward to coming back and staying a little longer.

Super friendly and helpful hosts. Quick response time in communication. We came on a tricky weather week and they dropped off a generator to ensure we weren’t without power. Clean and fresh linen on all the beds. Wood ready for the fire inside. spacious and exactly as described /pictured. Helpful pantry staples of salt, pepper, tea, coffee, oils and vegemite. Would definitely stay again.

We had an incredible stay at this charming farm! Michael and Christie, our host, was fantastic, especially with the kids. The feeding sessions were a highlight for them—they absolutely adored getting up close with the horses and alpacas. It was heartwarming to see how much joy they got from these experiences. Evenings were magical as we gathered around the fire pit for some star gazing. The kids loved roasting marshmallows under the stunning night sky—a perfect way to wind down after a day full of adventure. This farm stay was everything we hoped for and more. We highly recommend it to families looking for a unique and memorable getaway!

Ellie and Andrew”s place was so beautiful, quiet, relaxing and everything was beautiful, clean and homely. Would highly recommend to anyone and will be back again for a longer timeframe. Thank you for having us we loved it.

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Phil and Hung’s beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like it was our home too. Both Phil and Hung were incredibly friendly, warm, and thoughtful — the kind of hosts that truly go above and beyond. Phil was especially helpful with the wood fire pizza oven, patiently guiding us through the process. It was such a fun and memorable experience that made our stay even more special. And we can’t forget about their two gorgeous dogs, Cindy and Kiko! They were so sweet and gentle — we all fell in love with them and already miss their company. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming getaway. Thank you again, Phil and Hung — we’ll definitely be back!

As animal lovers, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the cute cabin among the paddocks. It's got a big balcony where we had our breakfast in the morning, and since we were lucky, we also got to watch the horse riding lesson while having breakfast! It's just nice to be able to roam around and greet with Margrete's friendly dogs and horses. Margrete made us feel well taken cared for and we really appreciated that we were able to see how the horses were fed up close while having Margrete explain the process. Overall, a very friendly, relaxing and educational experience that ticks all our boxes for a weekend escape from our city rat race.

We had a lovely time at the Ridgeway Ranch. The cottage has so much character. Loved the breakfast nook, the outdoor fireplace and indoor fire place. Kids loves to feed the animals and Laney was very accomodating accommodatin. Getting the fresh eggs and cooking them was a highlight! All the kitchenware was lovely. Apart from the traffic noise from the main road, our stay was excellent. Loved the variety of animals and the cosy cottage feel.

Fay is an amazing host, and the place is lovely. The area is secluded, well kept and bueatiful scenery. For a group of 10 this place was the perfect get away for us. 10/10 would recommend to others .
