Vacation rentals in Cenote Ponderosa

This villa completely exceeded our expectations. Even though our flight was delayed, Monica and Carol made us feel so welcome, and even gave us an extra night free to make up for lost time, which was incredibly kind. The villa was stunning, beautifully designed, and tucked away in a peaceful spot. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and comfort and felt like our own private retreat. One of the biggest highlights was the private chef which was recommendedby the hosts . Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The chef was talented, friendly, and even accommodated to our Halal preference for all the meat used in our meals. He made a delicious floating breakfast, pina Coladas that were amazing. Monica and Carol were amazing hosts. responsive, helpful, and full of great local tips. They helped us with transportation, and made us feel truly cared for. It felt like being hosted by friends.We honestly didn’t want to leave. This place made our trip unforget

We are family of 5 and absolutely loved our experience. The place was very clean, the rooms were well furnished and comfortable, lots of light in the living room. The house decor was pretty and I particularly loved the plants in the living room. The kitchen was stocked to perfection with appliances and pots, plates, etc. The view of the marina with the passing boats was priceless. The neighborhood is very quiet and we all got a lot of rest. We used the pool daily. Communication with CV was timely and efficient. The place is walking distance from "Central Park", which has three restaurants, ice cream and a nail salon (loved that). Puerto Aventuras is fantastic if you want to be away from the crowds of tourists. We snorkeled in the private yacht club and visited cenotes outside of PA. We drove around in the golf cart and got to see capybaras, monkeys, big lizards and racoons. Thank you so much for hosting us!

My husband and I travelled with 2 of our boys, ages 13 and 6, and my in-laws (early 80’s) joined us mid-week. I cannot speak highly enough of the property and the attentiveness to our needs by the staff. Everything as pictured and then some. We absolutely loved our stay and would come again in a heartbeat. We are currently trying to plan our next stay. The private area along with convenience to a cenote, town, a grocery store - we did not feel like we missed a thing and everything we needed was so close! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here and would highly encourage you to. I worried our boys wouldn’t like it, but they had so much fun in the pool, along the shore in tide pools, hunting for crabs at night, watching the birds - it was all amazing. Definitely in our top 3 vacations and we hope to go again!

Ana is awesome! The condo is absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. The instructions were to turn off all air conditioners before you leave the house. We were so afraid the house was going to be an oven but it was not. We closed the drapes and turned off all the units and the house actually stayed very cool and it was 95 degrees outside. The other beautiful thing is that Ana has a serious filtration system on the drinking water fountain at the sink. We hate plastic bottles so it was nice to fill up our reusable bottles for every outing with fresh clean water.

This was a dream vacation for me and my family. This luxury house is great for kids and close to so many things! I would highly recommend this property and will be returning. The personalized service is TOP NOTCH!! I don’t think it could have been a better and a more supportive experience.

We had a wonderful week at Mataray Tulum. The place is beautiful and peaceful and having the private beach made all the difference. But importantly, the staff were incredible. So accommodating and friendly, and always offering advice on where to go for dinner or excursions. There was never a tie that we didn't feel taken care of. The accommodation was amazing. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and my husband and son had great fun in the evening playing pool upstairs. The balance of having your own accommodation, but being connected to a hotel if you want food or drinks was a great combo! We will definitely come for another visit.

We had the absolute best time staying at Villa Mecca — I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, safe, and seamless experience in Tulum! The villa itself is stunning — modern, super clean, and spacious. We were a group of seven girls, and everyone had plenty of space to get ready, their own bathrooms, and extremely comfortable beds. Our host, went above and beyond before and during our stay. She was so kind and responsive, She coordinated our transportation, and helped us book a private chef and bartender who had everything set up before we arrived  and did our grocery shopping. It was the most welcoming start to our weekend! The location was perfect and about 15 minutes ( in early May) each night to get to the beach club area.  We loved our taxi driver, Walter,  Lupita connected us with. He was  prompt, friendly, and super reliable. The two pools at the villa were a dream, the rooftop was our favorite for sun.

The home was amazing! Carlos is a great host. I highly recommend staying at any of his properties.
