Its a bright, clean, cozy space for anyone wanting to be close to Portland (but not too close) and surrounded by nature. There is some ambient noise from the creek below (a beaver partially dammed it creating a fall) and the highway above.

Abundant light, balconies, and patio. 8 exterior steps to enter home through hosts' kitchen (we live on-site), then 9 steps up to private apartment with locking door. Digital pad self-check-in. This 850 sf. cottage is a century old but was completely updated 12 years ago with era-appropriate furnishings, giving it a period (and safe) feel. Breakfast goodies, art, books, and a woodstove make it cozy. It sits on half an acre so lots of room for kids . It's in SW Portland, minutes from downtown. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing. An outdoor fire pit and gardens make it unique. There's even a zip line for kids. Family gatherings also fine. (Note: There is a $60 fee per dog.)

Charming Quiet Backyard Cottage

Our little cottage is 280sqft with its own entrance and parking. It is a studio with a kitchenette and features a full bathroom with a large shower. We have a full size Murphy bed for 2 as well as a sofa. Our bernedoodle, Alyena, and our cats are always eager to welcome you. The dog is quite vocal but super friendly and just wants you to throw the ball for her, preferably all day long. We’re flexible about check in, just message us.
