Close to down hill and cross country skiing, The links walking trails, winery, brewery , distiller. Colleges include Cazenovia, Morrisville, and Colgate, and only 25 miles to Syracuse University. Lake Moraine 2026: Lake is drawn down 10 ft for the NYS Madison Reservoir Dam rehab. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing all continue. No construction noise. Lake activities for our guests run from the Colgate Boathouse — short walk down Frank Road or quick drive to its dedicated parking lot. Self-serve kayaks, paddleboards, and life vests. Two-bedroom cottage sleeping 6, smart TVs in every room, full kitchen, lake-facing deck, fire pit. Welcome wine on arrival. Five minutes to Colgate.

The Magee House

This 19th-century country farmhouse has been recently renovated with all the modern conveniences while preserving its historic charm. With three living spaces and two fireplaces, there's plenty of room to relax with family and friends. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped. Celebrate special events in the unique bar room. Take in the spectacular views and amazing sunrises from either our huge front porch or lodge-like deck/pavilion out back!The Cottage offers the perfect place to kick back and relax anytime of the year. The area offers many activities for all 4 seasons and The Cottage is the perfect home base to explore Central NY.
