House vacation rentals in Castelo Branco District

I am afraid I cannot express sufficiently fairly how amazing our stay at Casa da Cruz Alta was. The house is absolutely wonderful, comfortable, cosy; the heating, the soundproofing, the equipment, the details, everything perfect! Not only did we have everything we needed as the extras and the surprises were so many that our stay couldn't have been more complete. The owners are super friendly and attentive, being obvious the taste they have in receiving well and providing a great experience. The breakfast left daily was to cry for more. Thanks so much for everything, we will certainly return!

All was perfect! We were warmly welcomed. She was incredibly sweet and communication went absolutely smoothly. Thanks to the breathtaking view, the Airbnb was one of the most beautiful we've ever stayed in. We were surprised with jam, fresh bread and cheese as a welcome – a really delicious and loving gesture. We had a fantastic time at Hanna's place. The house is wonderful, a shame that it rained every day, if I had made a little better time we would have taken better advantage of the pool and garden area. Otherwise, everything was great. Hanna's impeccable care. We were all very comfortable.

the space is even better than the photos, rooms with bathroom on the first floor and on the second floor a unique space with everything you need to stay with your family, I hope to return soon.

Would come back. Hostess spoilt us with delicious cherries, fresh eggs and a welcome pack. The pool area was lovely and we had such an enjoyable week in a lovely villa.

Ana’s place is beautiful and convenient, felt right at home. The surrounding is peaceful and beautiful, really enjoy to hear the river. Ana was great, friendly helpful and communicative. We had a great weekend. Highly recommended!!!

Alexandra has a very comfortable, clean, and inviting home. She was there for a meet and greet. The place is nestled in the mountains, the lodging offered the rustic charm and comfort; the best part was the cherry tree in the back yard, the host was so kind and at night our family picking directly from the tree - my 6 old son loved it!

Perfect home to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You just have to do a little grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even feels like ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and made us feel free to reach out whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

Extremely attentive and welcoming host, there was always concern about our arrival at the house, as well as the recommendation of places to visit, restaurants to eat and activities to do! Very clear and attentive communication! Very natural, picturesque and calm area for a weekend to disconnect with river beaches and pools nearby! The house matches the description, comes with everything you need and is located on a plot with olive trees, which is a real luxury. Tranquility in an area of Portugal that we didn't know and that surprised us with its nature and the beautiful villages it has.

small house very nice!!! not overlooked, a relaxation area at the back with jacuzzi, bbq, garden, table, shade under the tree... beautiful!!! everything is provided when you arrive, linen, coffee, kitchen, bath, cleaning products... TV, internet, JBL wireless speaker and charger, everything is well explained, all instructions are provided... thank you

Hello, we really enjoyed our stay here. We were here only for one night. The accomodation was clean and spacious. Beds were extremely soft and clean. We definetely recommed it.

Ana is a great host, and the house is super functional and tastefully decorated. It is an excellent accommodation option for those who want to get to know Beira Baixa and its picturesque neighboring villages. We'll definitely be back.

Our stay at Dinis's apartment was simply great. The small house is so charming, surrounded by beautiful and peaceful landascape, very well equipped, clean and confortable. We really appreciated the kindness of Dinis, very proactive and friendly. He also promtly suupported us during the big black out transforming it into a moment of pleasant sharing. We really hope to come back to discover more this merveillous area and for sure we will keep the contact of Dinis. Obrigados!<3

The location is spectacular. Great for those who just want to relax and enjoy nature, from enjoying the morning sun with a beautiful landscape to enjoying the starry sky at night. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Thanks to Francisco, who was always available for whatever was needed.

My stay at Susan‘s place was unique and unforgettable. Not only the location and the view are breathtaking but the vibe of the space and its very welcoming hosts are very special.. I strongly recommend staying here as a starting point to discover Serra da Estella and all the beautiful villages and river beaches around… The apartment and its equipped kitchen has all you would need. Swimming in the natural pool filled with source water feels like swimming in the river, with an incredible view on the mountains around… I spent a week here, mostly to work in a quiet environment and really loved it … Can’t wait to return again…
