If you like mountain views and trails this is the place for you. I believe it is the highest elevation in Portugal…6000 feet. Beautiful lookout points upon arrival. Very private and quiet for a relaxing stay. Free parking on site. It’s small village but only 15 minutes to the next closest town for more shopping and restaurants. Gabriel was very accommodating and responsive to your needs. Great place at a great price. Highly recommend.

Fuimos 3 amigos moteros, nos encontramos muy cómodos pudimos aparcar las moto en la puerta dentro del recinto, estaba todo muy limpio y pudimos disfrutar de la piscina. Si volvemos por la zona volveremos a repetir

Casa maravilhosa, com uma vista fantástica. ótima localização, sitio muito bonito e calmo. Casa super limpa e com todas as comodidades para a nossa estadia. Comunicação muito boa com o anfitrião. Nada de negativo a apontar. Iremos voltar com toda a certeza.

Adorámos a casa. Tem todas as comodidades para umas boas férias em família ou amigos! A piscina é fantástica bem como o jacuzzi. Os matraquilhos e o snooker também são fabulosos.

We loved our stay at Carolina's! The cottage has everything needed to disconnect and the view from the living room is stunning. The kitchen is fully equipped, the breakfast is a nice touch. We loved how spacious the cottage was. Pet friendly a big plus! :) Carolina communicates proactively, responds promptly and shares many local recommendations. 100/100

Wir hatten eine unvergessliche, schöne Auszeit. Die Aussicht aus dem Schlafzimmer und vom Balkon waren unübertrefflich und das vegetarische Abendessen dazu eine perfekte Ergänzung, um die Zeit noch mehr zu geniessen. Alles in allem war es wirklich ein wunderschöner Ort, die Ruinen der alten Häuser umgeben von den wieder aufgebauten, die Natur und die pure Entspannung haben es uns sehr angetan. Nur die Bergstrasse war etwas unschön zu fahren, aber es hat sich unglaublich gelohnt.

Al principio me dio un poco de miedo por que revise la ubicación en Google maps y no es fácil de encontrar pero decidí creer que todo iba a salir bien y así fue!, es un lugar bellísimo, super privado, con unas vistas hermosas de toda la zona y super cerca de las Fragas de Sao Simão, que es un río muy cercano. A decir verdad fue una sorpresa de lo más increíble, cada que quiera pasar un fin de semana alejado del bullicio de la ciudad este va a ser el lugar predilecto para mí y mi familia. Un especial gracias al señor José Barroso y su esposa, aunque no pudieron recibirnos el primer día si estuvieron el día de salida, fueron super amables y atentos. El primer día nos recibió el señor José Antonio, un local que también fue muy amable y comprensivo con la situación de que no hablábamos bien el idioma. Muchas gracias!

Casa muito prática e muito bem decorada. Com tudo o que é preciso , máquinas de lavar roupa, máquina lavar loiça , etc . Tudo a funcionar bem. Local calmo mas perto de tudo. Sentimos-nos em casa.

Our stay at Villa Albertina was just amazing and so peaceful. The house is at a small town with a convenient coffee shop (the only constant source of food and drinks ) just by the house. It is 5 to 10 to 15 minutes away from the different beaches along side de Zêzere river. The drive to these beaches is really enjoyable with trees alongside the road, and to be honest, to us, the town was an amazing starting point to drive around and explore different areas. The house has a garden with a terrace and dinner table to eat outside, a big kitchen with everything you could need, the shower was just great, there is not even one negative point. The sky is amazing at nights and everything is so quiet. For buying food there is 2 options, or you drive till the closest town with a market (Vila do Rei is 15 mins away max), our you can wait in the mornings for the different trucks that bring bread, veggies and meat to town for you to buy directly from them, you just gotta relax at the garden until you listen the trucks honk announcing their arrival. Only advice is, as it is obvious from my review, do not stay here if you don't come with a car, unless you want to stay at home and relax everyday. Communication was great and everyone show a genuine interest for us to be comfortable, have everything we needed, and for the house to be in perfect shape upon our arrival. Couldn't be happier, we a sure we will return some day.

We had an excellent two night stay in the beautiful house. There was plenty of room for our kids to run around and they greatly enjoyed the pool. The host is very responsive, have lots of local recommendations and even provided breakfast in the morning! If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay not far from surrounding towns then this is it.

We enjoyed our stay and loved waking up to the amazing views. Filipa was very communicative and helpful. The house had everything we needed and was very spacious. Would definitely visit again!

Fantástica casa, todo impecable. Un sitio con absoluta tranquilidad y con unas instalaciones exteriores magníficas para los niños. Rui es un anfitrión estupendo y muy amable, estuvo en todo momento pendiente de cualquier necesidad o problema que tuvimos. Una casa muy recomendable para alojarse.

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans la villa de Sergio. La maison est magnifique, soigneusement décorée, et d'une propreté irréprochable. Son aménagement est à la fois pratique et confortable, parfait pour un séjour reposant. L'emplacement est tout simplement exceptionnel, avec un accès direct au lac via un terrain privé et un ponton privé, ce qui offre un cadre idéal pour se détendre et profiter du paysage à couper le souffle. La communication avec Sergio a été fluide et agréable. Je recommande vivement cette villa pour une escapade tranquille et ressourçante.
