Condo vacation rentals in Castello, Venice

I really enjoyed staying at this apartment. Campo Santa Marina is a great location in Venice. Near C. S. Maria Formosa (cafes, ambiance, superb fruit/produce kiosk, the Querini Stampalia, etc.). Situated at the western edge of mellow Castello, it has the advantage of being just off the beaten path but also very close to so many spots in Venice that you will want to access. I stayed here for three weeks while helping to run a study abroad program, so I appreciated the homey feel, the full kitchen and having a place to do some work with open windows to experience the tranquil campo during the evenings. The Coop (grocery) is directly across from your door, too, which can come in handy when you are trying to do too-many-things in a day. Thank you, Francesca!

We have just had the most wonderful 3 days at Meri’s place. meri was so helpful, giving us instructions on how to get from the airport (it was so easy and only a 5 minute walk from the stop. The apartment was so lovely, air con brilliant, bed sooo comfy!! the location was quiet but just around the corner there was so much going on. Beautiful restaurants and all the sights are close by. We went to the Lido which was lovely and again so easy to do. We also visited Murano which was nice. The hosts were great, place was great and the location was great, what more can I say other than we didn’t have enough time there😢 thank you 🤩 . We loved it❤️

Great location with access to vaperetto. We took that to most attractions and relied on walking. It was wonderful and great value.

Lovely apartment with lots of character and charm—very clean and well-maintained. The water views are stunning, and there's plenty of space for four people to stay comfortably. We especially enjoyed strolling along Via Garibaldi, which is lined with shops and restaurants. At the entrance to the gardens, be sure to check out the monument to Garibaldi—it’s set in a pond that's home to dozens of turtles. The location is slightly removed from the busy city center, which means it's much quieter and less crowded. The apartment itself was peaceful both day and night. Vaporetto access is easy and convenient, especially for trips to the Lido, just minutes away. Claudia was very responsive and helpful whenever we reached out. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Just a note: there is no air conditioning. We stayed in early June and were fine with the many fans provided.

Really enjoyed my stay, the apartment is very cozy, everything you need for your stay, is in a quiet area, within walking distance to St. Mark's Square. I want to come back again

Not only is the apartment beautiful, comfortable, and clean, Beatrice went above and beyond any AirBnB host I’ve ever had by meeting us at the vaporetto stop, walking with us the five minutes to the apartment, and giving us an overview of the apartment, nearby shops and restaurants, and things to do in Venice. She was available to answer questions throughout our stay and provided helpful info about getting around town. She was so friendly she made us feel very much at home. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Bruno was so friendly and helpful and the view from the window of the living room is a real winner! Walkable to the Basilca and Doges Palace. Recommend this place highly.

Great area, Paolo's place was welcoming and located in the center of activity. But still quite at night in the unit.

Absolutely amazing property! Outside of the main tourist areas, so much more peaceful in the afternoons and mornings. Much more of a relaxed vibe and able to stroll throughout the day. The condo itself was in a perfect spot: directly beside a supermarket, restaurants and Murano Museo water taxi stop. This makes transportation easy to get back and forth from the main ports at Venice. The host also gave great directions on how to get to the unit with which lines to take, so make sure you ask if you’re having difficulty. They were extremely responsive and quick to help. The inside of the condo was beautiful itself and had all the necessities such as cooking utensils, pots, pans and most importantly coffee machine. I would highly recommend Murano Suites to anyone wanting a leisurely stay!

Place was easy to find and very clean. If you like AC and prefer colder temps inside the apartment, we were unable to get the AC to cool off the rooms and it was hard to sleep.

Gino’s place is perfect if you want to stay away from the main tourist areas but still be close enough to get to the main areas in Venice. Public transport is easy with lots of options. Gino was very accommodating when we were arriving early and allowed us to store our luggage while the apartment was being prepared for us. It is great to have an area to sit and relax rather than being in a motel room. We made of breakfast each day before heading out and were able to wash some clothing. Nico's place is simply perfect. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. 10/10. The location is quiet and peaceful, but very close to some fantastic restaurants and only a five minute walk to Piazza San Marco. It is next to a picturesque canal, with gondalas passing occasionally by the windows. Nico was extremely helpful in providing recommendations for places to eat and to visit. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, providing everything we needed. The apartment itself was very clean, tidy and plenty spacious enough. Everything just works; the bed was very comfortable. Access and check-out was very straight-forward, and we wanted for nothing. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Nico's place again.

A lovely apartment in a quiet and excellent location for exploring the biennial and the city. Marika and Alan were attentive and helpful hosts, and we were extremely comfortable there! Highly recommended.

A true gem! The balcony really adds a unique dimension; to be able and watch every day life in Venice was so interesting. The apartment is in easy walk of great cafes and restaurants and handy for The Vaporetto and water taxis. We travelled with my 89 year old mother and were very grateful for the flexible check in after our early flight. We ate out each meal, so easy with so many great places in easy walking distance. Amongst our favourite, for breakfast was San Giovanni Vini e Cicchetti for fabulous chichetti !

This is a second floor venezian apartment, with two bathrooms and two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and lovely, easy to communicate hosts!The nearest vaporeto stop is Arsenale, takes you directly to and from the airport with Alilaguna. Walking to San Marco piazza takes around 25 minutes, strolling next to the lagoon ...Marvelous!! There are no air conditioners as in most of the venezian properties! Fans were ok for us though!

The hosts were really friendly and did everything to meet our needs. Very hospitable even with my molosser and they even gave him a welcome gift!!!! Always available and very kind. Comfortable and very clean environment. Very well equipped with everything. The only thing missing was the chamomile tea bags!!!! We also found soaps and shampoos for children in the bathroom!!!!! We had a great time in Venice. The apartment is close to the tram which makes it easy to get to the center of Venice. All instructions were clear and the host is very responsive to messages. Our arrival was facilitated by the shuttle offered by the host. The apartment is as described I would recommend it

It was a very nice holiday. Ground floor was great for our Sup's. There was everything you needed. However, placemats for the glass table are highly recommended. The beds were very comfortable. Friendly neighbors and everything within walking distance. Very quiet and pleasant. We will be happy to come back.

The entire building as well as the apartment look very modern and high-quality. We felt completely comfortable in the apartment. Especially the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen made cooking a pleasure. A real highlight was the spacious balcony with a comfortable seating area, ideal for enjoying the evening with a glass of wine. The facility left nothing to be desired. Since the cleanliness on the beach unfortunately did not convince us, we were all the more grateful for the well-maintained pool and hot tub area, which we used extensively. The pools were always clean and offered a great alternative to the beach. Overall, it was a very nice stay, which we would be happy to recommend. Thank you, Matteo!

We had a fantastic vacation. The apartment is magnificent, the terrace simply great, the view awesome. We immediately felt at home. Ugo and Graziella are very friendly and warm hosts, who are very attentive to their guests. The apartment is well equipped, it was also ideal for our little daughter (high chair, crib,...) Ugo was always available, even at night, when we had a false alarm in the stairwell and panicked quite a bit. The way to the beach is not far, we also found the pool great for cooling off. There are numerous shops (including grocery stores and bakeries) and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Thanks for this beautiful week of VACATION!!! If you want to visit Jesolo, I highly recommend this apartment!

We had a wonderful stay, great location, modern amenities, everything you need. Beach only 5 min away, great shopping, great pool. Markus was always available and was very helpful the whole time

Feel at home and such a friendly host is an amazing combination. We were helped with our itinerary and the local recommendations from here were bonus. We drove by car and her suggestion to better drive and park at the ferry stop instead of relying on bus... well saved a lot time and was comfortable for family. The vicinity to the beach is also great in case you plan for morning/evening walk.
