Condo vacation rentals in Castello, Venice

We have just had the most wonderful 3 days at Meri’s place. meri was so helpful, giving us instructions on how to get from the airport (it was so easy and only a 5 minute walk from the stop. The apartment was so lovely, air con brilliant, bed sooo comfy!! the location was quiet but just around the corner there was so much going on. Beautiful restaurants and all the sights are close by. We went to the Lido which was lovely and again so easy to do. We also visited Murano which was nice. The hosts were great, place was great and the location was great, what more can I say other than we didn’t have enough time there😢 thank you 🤩 . We loved it❤️

Lovely apartment with lots of character and charm—very clean and well-maintained. The water views are stunning, and there's plenty of space for four people to stay comfortably. We especially enjoyed strolling along Via Garibaldi, which is lined with shops and restaurants. At the entrance to the gardens, be sure to check out the monument to Garibaldi—it’s set in a pond that's home to dozens of turtles. The location is slightly removed from the busy city center, which means it's much quieter and less crowded. The apartment itself was peaceful both day and night. Vaporetto access is easy and convenient, especially for trips to the Lido, just minutes away. Claudia was very responsive and helpful whenever we reached out. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Just a note: there is no air conditioning. We stayed in early June and were fine with the many fans provided.

Really enjoyed my stay, the apartment is very cozy, everything you need for your stay, is in a quiet area, within walking distance to St. Mark's Square. I want to come back again

Not only is the apartment beautiful, comfortable, and clean, Beatrice went above and beyond any AirBnB host I’ve ever had by meeting us at the vaporetto stop, walking with us the five minutes to the apartment, and giving us an overview of the apartment, nearby shops and restaurants, and things to do in Venice. She was available to answer questions throughout our stay and provided helpful info about getting around town. She was so friendly she made us feel very much at home. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.

Absolutely amazing property! Outside of the main tourist areas, so much more peaceful in the afternoons and mornings. Much more of a relaxed vibe and able to stroll throughout the day. The condo itself was in a perfect spot: directly beside a supermarket, restaurants and Murano Museo water taxi stop. This makes transportation easy to get back and forth from the main ports at Venice. The host also gave great directions on how to get to the unit with which lines to take, so make sure you ask if you’re having difficulty. They were extremely responsive and quick to help. The inside of the condo was beautiful itself and had all the necessities such as cooking utensils, pots, pans and most importantly coffee machine. I would highly recommend Murano Suites to anyone wanting a leisurely stay!

Authentic and exquisite. Every room featured stunning Murano glass chandeliers. The space was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed with great amenities. Located in a quiet, peaceful area, it offered a perfect retreat. The host went above and beyond—graciously guiding us when we had trouble finding the location and helping us navigate the water taxis. So kind and helpful throughout our stay.

GINO Very attentive, always correct with the instructions, he welcomed us personally, it was a pleasant conversation with suggestions and recommendations. Advantages of the place, above all, is that you have the bus line that takes you to and from the historic center in minutes. Supermarkets and bars to enjoy in a more relaxed way. A ten.

Nico's place is simply perfect. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. 10/10. The location is quiet and peaceful, but very close to some fantastic restaurants and only a five minute walk to Piazza San Marco. It is next to a picturesque canal, with gondalas passing occasionally by the windows. Nico was extremely helpful in providing recommendations for places to eat and to visit. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, providing everything we needed. The apartment itself was very clean, tidy and plenty spacious enough. Everything just works; the bed was very comfortable. Access and check-out was very straight-forward, and we wanted for nothing. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Nico's place again.

A lovely apartment in a quiet and excellent location for exploring the biennial and the city. Marika and Alan were attentive and helpful hosts, and we were extremely comfortable there! Highly recommended.

A true gem! The balcony really adds a unique dimension; to be able and watch every day life in Venice was so interesting. The apartment is in easy walk of great cafes and restaurants and handy for The Vaporetto and water taxis. We travelled with my 89 year old mother and were very grateful for the flexible check in after our early flight. We ate out each meal, so easy with so many great places in easy walking distance. Amongst our favourite, for breakfast was San Giovanni Vini e Cicchetti for fabulous chichetti !

Cristiano is an excellent host. There was nothing missing and we felt immediately comfortable. The apartment was very nice with a terrace and small garden and of course the cats 🐈🐈‍⬛ and turtles were 🐢🐢🐢 the highlight for the kids. We would come back anytime. Thanks again.🙏🏽😊

We had a great time in Venice. The apartment is close to the tram which makes it easy to get to the center of Venice. All instructions were clear and the host is very responsive to messages. Our arrival was facilitated by the shuttle offered by the host. The apartment is as described I would recommend it

We give the full score for the space. Celeste is a friendly hostess and was always approachable. Our arrival was postponed by a strike and yet it made our check in possible. Rooms are simple and well equipped, the beds comfortable. This a home is wonderfully located and has access to a private beach but not included. However, you can rent an umbrella with a lounger. What is urgent to note: There is no WiFi and the everyday necessities are to be brought with you or to buy in the shop around the corner (towels, salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, shampoo, soap, toilet paper...). We paid the charge for the bed linen and tourist tax in cash to Celeste. The pool is great and also suitable for smaller children. However, it has season and didn't open until mid-June. The Ristaurante Soleano is right next door and highly recommended. Super tasty! Thank you to Celeste and her family!

Halli Hello, in winter Very quiet location, in summer I can imagine great area, not far from beach. Venice can be reached in 30 minutes by vaporetto, nice route for photography😊. Accommodation fully equipped with everything you could need (kitchen utensils, bathroom, extra blankets) etc. Pleasant and quick written contact. We were very satisfied overall and would recommend it. ☺️👍

Feel at home and such a friendly host is an amazing combination. We were helped with our itinerary and the local recommendations from here were bonus. We drove by car and her suggestion to better drive and park at the ferry stop instead of relying on bus... well saved a lot time and was comfortable for family. The vicinity to the beach is also great in case you plan for morning/evening walk.

Marisa's place is just great. You feel like home. Very clean, very cozy, you have everything you need. Especially beautiful is the kitchen, a dream for a woman 😍 The terrace with a great view of the pool is a beautiful place to have a refreshing cocktail in the evening. The location is great, the beach can be reached in 5 minutes. Three nearby grocery stores. In the house itself is a delicious restaurant with numerous dishes, you can even order there online. The pool is very clean and is open until 9pm. Marisa gives lots of helpful hints on what to visit around the place. She briefed us really well for the trip to Venice.
