Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Casa de Oro-Mount Helix

This is the first time of this year we stayed at Shawn's house. Yes! We basically stay at Shawn's house 3 to 4 times per year, his house is in a very good location, few minutes drive to everything, nice yard for dogs, clean and comfortable living space. There's nothing we can complain about. We've booked another trip and can't wait to go there again.

The hosts are great and the house was perfect. A special recognition of the perfect white towel.

Brent’s place was amazing and I would definitely stay there again! It’s in a great location close to lots of restaurants in South Park and my favorite coffee shop Santos coffee :) Their home was beautiful inside and out with a great yard space for the doggies!

Well prepared, clean and safe private place within walking distance to SDSU. Sarah provided just the right amount of necessary amenities, and the place was perfect for my short term business needs. My only tip would be with parking make sure to get your spot the night before and you are most likely right in front of the place, if you put it off to the morning you may be parking a few houses down. Great value here for what you get and pretty easy to get to all the major freeways. Will look to stay here again on future visits. Thank you, Sarah!

Beautiful Home! My kids loved the Backyard along with all the games. My Man loved the Condiments & Kitchen He said You guys had the right equipments I loved the jacuzzi.

The home is located up on a hill, which gave us stunning views morning and evenin, truly one of the highlights of our stay. The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing, yet still close enough to local spots for convenience. The uphill location added a nice sense of privacy and made the scenery even more beautiful. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Check-in was easy, and the host was friendly and responsive throughout. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys scenic views and a tranquil environment!

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

We stayed here after our wedding, it was such a perfect, serene little cabin! Everything was accurately described and it was very comfortable. Beautiful views!!

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

We loved our stay, Bruce was so friendly and very accommodating. We had quite a large group stay there, 2 of my kiddos included- Bruce had a little bucket of toys to play with for them which was such a nice surprise. The house was clean and everything in working order. While we were there, most of our time was spent outside in the beautiful backyard where there was such a great vibe! We’d for sure stay here again next time we’re in San Diego!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. We had a great stay! The place was easy to find, and Janet’s clear instructions made getting there and checking in a breeze. The little welcome touches like cookies and thoughtful signs added a warm, personal touch that we really appreciated. The AC and fans kept the space comfortable, and private parking was definitely a plus. The kitchen was quaint, neat, and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. I would definitely recommend the Barbie house, even if you aren’t a big Barbie fan the house itself is so creatively put together and the ambiance is so peaceful. Sarah was great, her communication was impecable! The biggest attraction is definitely the heated pool with the built in water slide and cave.

Awesome place to stay. Our family of 6 had plenty of room and enjoyed the outdoor area with a beautiful pool and hot tub. Hosts responded immediately to any questions and were very helpful.
