Best Airbnb! Our hosts were fantastic! Paulo's house is absolutely wonderful and off the beaten track. A true haven of peace, surrounded by nature, tastefully decorated, far from city noise. Paulo is the perfect host: always available to help, attentive, very attentive, and very kind. You immediately feel welcome, like at home! We loved our experience and are leaving with beautiful memories. Thanks again Paulo for your exceptional hospitality — we'll be happy to go back!

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Patricia is really friendly host. We felt like at home :-) We had all what we needed and more. The apartment is in good location. It has a lot of space, free private parking. We recommend this appartment for sure:-)

We were all very big fans of the accommodation, well located for surfing to Ribeira and ideal for larger groups!

We loved our stay at Pedro & Ana's beach house, as did our one-year-old baby who felt right at home. The location is unbeatable with a direct view of the ocean and a short walk around the corner from the beach. Grocery stores are just a short 10-15 minute drive away. The backyard, hammock, and brand new grill were the perfect place to relax. Pedro & Ana were so welcoming and helpful, setting out a chilled bottle of wine for our arrival and sharing local recommendations with us. The kitchen could use some new pots/pans and cutting boards (we ended up buying our own to use) but otherwise is well equipped (e.g. hand blender, hand mixer, separate oven and microwave). And unlike other beach houses we've stayed at, there was no shortage of hot water! Would absolutely stay again.

Million Dollar view. Very well and tastefully decorated with all everything needed. We were 4 but more guests could easily be accommodated. A car to get to the center of Sesimbra, the beaches and other nearby attractions is recommended. The dedicated parking space right in the center of Sesimbra is a definite plus. Having said that, Bolt and Uber also worked quite well even late at night coming back from Lisbon. Rides are relatively affordable. The communication with the host was flawless! Great stay!

Very quiet location, huge well-equipped apartment.

Paula’s place was very well equipped and in an excellent location. Great kitchen with everything you needed and a very comfy bed. Highly recommend this apartment and Ana Paula was a great host.

beautiful, spacious apartment in great location. added bonus of an outside terrace to relax after a busy day. very close to train station where hop on/off buses and tuk tuks will take you to all the sights. trains make it a little noisy, but worth it for the location. plenty cafes and restaurants around

Very spacious and quiet , with stunning views! You feel at home right away. There is a small cafe/bakery just next door and we found it easy to walk (if you didn't want to drive) into town along the coastline which was beautiful! The Ribeira beach is very close and you can basically check the wave status from your bedroom. It was very windy when we were there, so it was difficult to sit on the patio, but the back patio is enclosed with a small table, great place to have breakfast and look at the ocean and country side. Highly recommend!

Luis & Beatriz are amazing hosts. The home was beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The grounds were AMAZING and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time there and will look forward to returning in the future. We highly recommend this property for those visiting the Terrugem/Sintra area. The Oak Cafe was wonderful for brunch and you must have dinner at least 1 night at Azenhas do Mar, for the food and views as well as Mercado Saloio located in Sintra for the nightly music and delicious food and good service. The spa in Cascais is amazing as well. All recommendations of Luis & Beatriz Other places we found were the Marina and shops in Cascais as well as a wonderful little eatery for brunch/ lunch called Mugs Brunch and Cafe in Pedregal. Amazing views and delicious food. Thanks Luis & Beatriz for making our first trip to Portugal amazing. Looking forward to returning.

We had the most amazing stay at this villa! We were a group of 16 friends and the space was absolutely perfect for us—spacious, super clean, and really well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short taxi to beautiful beaches and some great beach bars. 20 mins to the centre of Lisbon. What made our stay even more special was the host. So friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our trip. Star went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and connected us with the loveliest Chef to cook for us one evening. Highly recommend this place for large groups looking for a sunny getaway. We’d definitely come back! 🌞🏖️

What a joy it is to stay here in this beautiful corner of Portugal. Pictures do not do justice to the beautiful home and its surrounding property. We were in Sintra for our son’s wedding and our hosts could not have been more flexible and helpful. Your hospitality made this trip complete.

The villa was absolutely lovely and in a great location. Andreia was a fantastic host and very responsive.

This house worked out very well for two families with kids. It's very big and spread out with lots of sleeping options. There's a tiny bit of wear and tear and we did have to buy/bring all of our own basic kitchen supplies like spices, oils, sugar, salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, shower soaps. But we loved that the house provided beach supplies like chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas and yoga mats. Nothing much in walking distance but several excellent beaches and places to eat within a few miles. The pool and ping pong table were fantastic and we would definitely recommend this place for a group of travelers. We had a fabulous time. :-)

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Altus with seven adults and four kids. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty do space for everyone. The kids loved the playroom and the games room, and we all enjoyed the fantastic heated pool. The setting is spectacular amongst the vineyard covered hills, and we ate all of our meals outdoors. It was an easy drive to the coast, where we found beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Lina was wonderfully helpful, and let us check in early and out late, which was great for the babies’ nap schedules. The rooms also have blackout shutters, which helped them adjust to the time change. She provided cribs and high chairs for them. We were also really happy that the pool area is fenced and gated, which made it easier for parents to relax during meals on the patio! Finally for the adults, the showers are amazing. Great pressure and really hot water. I’d recommend Lina and Villa Altus to anyone. It really was perfect.

Elsa is a great Host, just like her incredible villa. From the booking, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this spacious and comfortable place.
