Idyllic and peaceful 2 bed Lake District cottage

GuillermoRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay at this lovely Airbnb just a short drive from Windermere. The location is perfect—peaceful, scenic. The home was spotless and well-maintained, and the surrounding countryside made it feel like a true escape. Our family especially appreciated the calm atmosphere—it was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The whole experience was smooth. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway in the Lake District, and we’d love to return in the future!

Meathop Hall, Studio 1

TrishRating, 5 stars6 days ago
I stayed here for two nights with my husband, as we had friends staying in the caravan park next door, so within walking distance. Everything about the studio was exactly as advertised. It wasn't huge, but not a squeeze either. There was brew kit there and a most welcome little jug of milk in the fridge. We didn't use the hob, microwave or air fryer, but they were clearly all clean/ new. We were able to park right next to our room, which was great! All in all, I'd totally recommend this place. I only needed to contact Lilly once and she was most helpful. Thank you.
