Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

The chalet was absolutely spotless and everything as new. It was extremely comfortable and so well equipped with everything you need and much more. The quality of the crockery and glassware and utensils was of a very high standard which makes self catering a wee bit more special!. Lovely quiet site within walking distance of hotel and restaurants. Furniture on decking just lovely and a barbecue a bonus.Unfortunately it was a bit of a wet weekend so didnt get used.Bedding spotless and again good quality. Wi fi more rapid than at home! An excellent place to stay. Safe decking for dogs and nice area just across from park where the dogs could get a wee run in the woods. Plenty boardgames etc for children( and adults) to play. Host Zoe was an excellent corresponder though we had no reason to contact her once there. Photos do not do the chalet justice. It was just a perfect break in lovely surroundings inside and outside chalet.

2 Granite Villa, Newly refurbished flat

Had a fab time. Beryl was a great host. As other review have mentioned, Beryl greeted us at the property and answered any questions we had. She then left us to enjoy our trip and surrounds. Her comms were excellent and answered any further question promptly via the app or mobile. Beds were very comfy, plenty of utensils in the kitchen. Felt like everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Great location for venturing out to various local sites and whisky distilleries via car. We enjoyed a lovely Pie and Chips one evening nearby at Craig’s Bar. But if that’s not your thing there are plenty of takeaways & restaurants on the Main Street which was a short 5 min walk from the flat. Kitchen had plenty of plates, cutlery and cooking pots. There was even a dishwasher and washing machine if needed. Overall I would recommend the flat and would defo stay again. Thanks Beryl.

Beautiful lodge and location. Lodge was spotlessly clean upon arrival and is furnished to a very high standard throughout with modern fittings! Host lesley was very responsive to messages and very helpful with local amenities. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone wanting to visit the highlands and would return without hesitation. Again .. beautiful lodge and location!

A really good find. Quiet little village only a few miles from Aviemore. Very comfortable with all amenities you could possibly need. I'm 6ft 3 and found the king size bed AMAZING. Host very responsive and accommodating. Car Park a few feet from front door, ideal. Nice walks in the area. Highly Recommended.

Stephen’s zen lodge was an absolute gem. We had an incredible night here , the lodge is beautiful as are the surrounds , so cosy and Stephen has clearly gone to a lot of effort in making a folio he left us full of recommendations of things to do in the area . The whiskey, tablet and shortbread was just the icing on the cake of what was already an environment that made us feel instantly at home . Only wish we’d stayed longer . Absolutely recommend .

Perfect location. Accommodation was very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Access to the secure garden was ideal with the kids. The house was spotless.
