Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Carlsbad

Alexander's place was the perfect California get away for our family vacation! The location was awesome just a short walk from the beach. The backyard was so big for California and great for our dogs. It had a lot of seating and a hot tub which was perfect! Alexander was very responsive throughout our stay. There is a train right behind the Airbnb that used it's horn loudly multiple times a day and until about 11 which was very clearly listed in the listing but if you are sensitive to noise it might bother you. We had no issues with the train.

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Our stay was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather during our stay was cloudy and cool so we didn’t get to see the highlight of the sunset from the balcony. Otherwise, everything was great. The home was stocked with everything a family could possibly need. The decor is cozy and aesthetically pleasing. The location is very convenient. We weren’t expecting cold weather but we were only about 10 minutes from Walmart, Target, Ross, and Burlington coat factory where we shopped around for sweats and hoodies. There are also plenty of food chains nearby. I would love to book again.

We loved this huge townhouse so much. It was exactly as described and really such an amazing value. We were close to the beach but didn’t have to pay beach prices. It was easy to get around the quiet neighborhood as we rented electric bikes and it felt easy, breezy and safe. I would definitely recommend this thoughtfully put together airbnb to anyone looking to spend a quiet time in Oceanside.

We had a dreamy 2-night stay at Lisa's place to celebrate our anniversary! Lisa and Menotti kindly allowed us to bring both our dog and cat, and it could not have been a more beautiful and comfortable place for us all. The location is outstanding -- about a 10-min walk to the beach and near a great grocery store (Cardiff Seaside Market). We loved watching sunset on the balcony and cooking at home just to enjoy the space. Thoughtful touches like the beach chairs and towels were much appreciated. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at this kid-friendly Airbnb! The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a smooth and fun trip with little ones — beach toys, a stroller, and even outdoor mini golf! It made our park visits and beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. The home itself was beautifully decorated and perfectly matched our taste — we honestly joked that we wished we could live there! Every detail added to the comfort and charm of our stay. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating of our needs, and the location was ideal — close to all the San Diego attractions we had planned to visit. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend for families visiting San Diego.

Lauren’s place was absolutely perfect for our family! You can’t beat the location - easy and quick walk to the beach, tons of restaurants, quick drive to the harbor and Sea World. The home had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the beach supplies and wagon! We highly recommend this place if you are coming to Oceanside and hope to stay here again soon.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bob and Kim's lovely place, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment i arrived, they were incredibly kind and responsive, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the space was impeccably clean and pristine. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, creating a truly enjoyable environment. I loved my stay and will definitely be returning in the future. Spotless and very comfortable place that looks exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable beds and linens and we loved hanging out on the back patio enjoying the cool evenings. The Keurig was a plus. We walked to the ocean a couple of times but to go swimming at the main beach we opted to drive. We loved Aja's place and can't wait to come back!

This is a very nice, clean and well appointed apartment which opens into a green and peaceful courtyard. Best of all for me, it has a one car garage with remote! Its really convenient to pull into the garage late at night instead of trying to find street parking. The bay is a bit narrow so you do have to rent a smaller vehicle - I had a 4 door Nissan Versa. The area is mostly residential with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The owner is very helpful and responsive. When the TV remote stopped working, he showed up to change batteries and when that did not work, he ordered a new remote which arrived the next day. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great stay at Marabella! The views were stunning from our room! Located right on the water, walking distance from many shops and restaurants. The patio was nice and grounds were well kept and clean. The beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and outdoor shower was definitely appreciated. It was perfect!

We stayed at Christie’s apartment for two stays during a one week trip. Both stays were overall pleasant . Very nice view from the front balcony where you are able to see both the ocean and sunset, you are also able to hear the waves crash at night. Nice interior with plenty of space for two remote workers. Nice coffee shops within a walkable distance for lunch breaks and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. There were also many great restaurants within a few minutes drive of the apartment and a mall in Carlsbad 15 minutes away with many retailers. The only issue I ran into with our stays is one neighbor two houses down was rather hostile towards parking near her property, although it’s public street parking. Overall, I would stay again, I would just make it a point to park on the other side of the road.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy studio in Solana Beach! Highlights include the unbeatable location—just steps from Fletcher Cove Park (with beach access, picnic areas and sunsets), a few blocks from the train station and Cedros Design District (home to boutiques, cafes and the famous Belly Up music venue), and near great restaurants like Claire’s, Pizza Port, Pillbox, Lofty Coffee, Chief’s Burgers, Gelato 101 and Rustic Root. While there’s no nearby grocery store, CVS is walkable and Instacart worked well. Don’t miss the Sunday farmers market! The studio, though cozy, was well-equipped with a full kitchen, comfy bed, spacious bathroom and access to laundry and patios (the upper one has ocean views!). Our hosts were incredibly communicative and caring. Highly recommend these cute lofts for anyone wanting a true local experience in Solana Beach!!!

Location is very walkable to charming downtown Vista area, and the unit itself is clean, airy, and spacious with plenty of amenities! There are clear instructions in place too and the dedicated parking was a big plus. It was a peaceful and restful place to stay, thank you Kim!

We absolutely loved, and would recommend Matthew's vacation rental. We have stayed in Oceanside several times for a quick get away and this lovely location is by far our favorite. We hope we will be able to return in the near future. A parking spot is right in front of the property, Matthew's check in and out instructions are clear and easy to follow, the location cannot be beat, with the ocean and private beach just steps away. The interior has everything you could possibly need, it was clean and well stocked. I personally appreciated the binoculars and decaf coffee. It was wonderful to sit outdoors and watch dolphins, seabirds, surfers, dogs happy to be on the beach, and relax to the sound of the waves. There are many great restaurants nearby, and plenty of activities and places to visit in and around town. The best part was the feeling of being in our own little private sanctuary. Thank you to Matthew for being a fantastic host!

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

Definitely somewhere I would book for another stay! Nice little get away only step from the beach my fiancé and I spent every night once home with the windows open to hear the crashing waves and would just hangout on the balcony enjoying every minute of peaceful bliss!

Our stay at Just Beachy totally exceeded our expectations. It was perfection! Lorraine is an incredible host thanks to her responsiveness, kindness, and hospitality. The condo was so well decorated; you could tell Lorraine paid attention to every little detail, down to the paint colour…very serene. The complex itself is truly amazing, we enjoyed many of the amenities on both sides. And then there is the view…WOW! Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves was so relaxing (and the bed is SUPER comfy). I highly recommend this condo and Lorraine! We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Ms.Sandy provided a very welcoming AirBnB rental to relax and decompress in. From her initial inactions, she was extremely helpful with detailed instructions and helpful suggestions. As a bonus, the HOA also offered recommendations on places locally to dine at and entertainment. It’s the combination of these two that make for an enjoyable experience. Ms. Sandy’s place is clean and features 2 smart tvs for your entertainment pleasure. Just remember to log out of your streaming service before checking out. If you need a bit of fresh air, the beach is close by, along with the harbor with eateries and entertainment. Or just walk around the compound and enjoy the various water features and koi pond. For you golfers, bring your putter and enjoy the putting green. There’s also a swimming pool and gym, however the beach is just minutes away. You can definitely put your trust in Ms. Sandy for a very enjoyable experience.

Great location. Walkable to the beach, restaurants and shops. They had a wagon which was clutch to help transport beach necessities to and from without issue. Loved the rooftop space to hang out and unwind. Train wasn’t an issue, barely heard it when we were inside. Area was great for a quick getaway. Super responsive and got any issues taken care of right away. Everyone had tons of relaxing fun in the sun.

We really enjoyed staying at Robyn’s condo! It is in a nice spot close to the beach and there is a beautiful view from the balcony. It was great to be able to access the hot tub and pool, we had it to ourselves both nights! Robyn was very responsive and helpful, we definitely recommend staying here.

The best Airbnb she got everything we needed and more, plenty of beds and bedding for 4 people, kitchen got everything including condiments, dish soap etc if you ever need it, plenty of towels and beach towels, beach chairs, bathroom was with everything you need shampoo conditioner gel sunscreen etc I did not brought kids but I have also seen lots of things for kids. I did enjoy having a lot of extra things I never seen other places. The condo premises is absolutely beautiful we loved it . Thank you so much we are coming back soon

This was one of the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The location was amazing, with easy access to everything we needed. The space had everything we needed and more—it truly felt like a home away from home. We were especially grateful that the host was able to accommodate an early check-in, which was such a huge help while traveling with a baby. The place was incredibly kid-friendly, with thoughtful touches like toys, a high chair, and a pack ’n play, which made our stay so much more comfortable. We also really appreciated the welcome snacks. The home was clean, comfortable, and clearly prepared with care. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone—especially families traveling with little ones!
