Having stayed in Carlinville many times this has been one of my favorite places. Beds were comfortable and generous. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The location was very convenient to the train station and the square, close enough that I could easily walk down and get coffee in the morning. It is on a relatively busy street (for Carlinville) and you can hear the train. This is not something that bothered me and I had no issues sleeping. Would definitely consider for the next time I'm in town.

I can't say enough excellent place to stay! I am so happy I found the place on Airbnb the quiet and remote is a place where people can relax and unwind and just enjoy the beautiful surrounding of nature I highly recommend staying here a perfect place to stay I usually bring chocolate on my travels I forgot to buy some this time so I was a little excited when I saw the chocolates!

Calm, serene, peaceful stay while also in close enough proximity to downtown STL. We enjoyed being close to nature. Lots of wood to start a fire in the fire pit, everything you need to have a good time inside or outdoors.

A spacious indoor pool area is highlighted by vibrant lighting, with a blue pool bordered by a wooden railing. A staircase leads to an upper level, while ample natural light streams through large windows, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

Our family of 16 stayed and had a terrific time, so much for the kids to do. Among the pool and hot tub the indoor swings and bunks with slide were a bonus that the kids could not get enough of. Abundance of sleeping room and plenty of bathrooms with ample amount of space. The upgrades in the movie room with bedroom/bath were gorgeous. Our family movie night felt like being right at the show but the children and adults could cuddle up. Everyone listened to their favorite genre of music on the rockn surround sound system. We had fun playing kick ball and an Easter egg hunt in the enormous front lawn. Can not say enough about the space at this place. We were able to prepare our own buffet style meals in the large kitchen/dining area and the french vanilla Cappuccino machine they provided was a hit. Sean was a super friendly host!! Memories made and so so much more fun than staying at a hotel in separate hotel rooms.

Exactly as described! Only a 5 minute drive to all the hot spots in Grafton. Lots to keep you entertained. The fire pit was the best part of every evening while you look out over the pond. The DVD collection was so much fun, but we were too busy enjoying the outdoors. Will definitely stay longer next time.
