Family-friendly vacation rentals in Capri

Wow, what to say. Francescopaolo's apartment was all that we'd hoped for. The terrace is beautiful, lots of places to relax and of course the amazing view. The living accommodation is bright, airy and bigger than it looks in the photos. Francescopaolo has lots of beautiful ornaments, pots and pictures - loved the mermaid table! The kitchen doesn't feel small as it's really well designed, lots of storage and had absolutely everything that you could possibly need. The icing on the cake was access to the sea and we had some beautiful swims down there, the water was just gorgeous. Location was good and we loved Minori, lots of amazing restaurants and it didn't feel touristy at all, it was quiet but still had a good atmosphere, especially in the evening when everyone comes out for their passeggiata. Francescopaolo was a great host, good at communication, sent lots of information on local places and friendly. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

we had the most amazing time staying at villa natura. the villa was spacious, well equipped and had the most amazing views. it is up a very steep hill but it was totally worth the reward for the views and tranquility. everything was absolutely spotless and they left us lots of nice goodies to help us settle in. there is a great little mini market and restaurant within walking distance as well as a bus stop to get down into town and train station for further travel.

Our stay at Chalet Lidia was amazing! The property is absolutely beautiful, from the garden to the pool to the kitchen and the common areas. We were met upon arrival by Angelo. He helped us bring our bags in and then took us on a tour of the beautiful property and even gave us some fresh mulberries off of the trees in their garden (which were delicious). Angelo then showed us to our room and gave us some local recommendations and directions of where things were in town. The location is just a short walk down to the beach at marina grande with many restaurants to choose from and the other direction is just a short walk into the main streets of sorrento with a plethora of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The walk from the main port is a little bit of a hike with luggage but there is a lift that can take you up that we weren’t aware of on the way in that makes it much easier. Giuseppe was also extremely helpful and kind during our staying answering any questions we had. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! Thank you for your kind hospitality. Everyone was so responsive and willing to help. The Airbnb was spotless clean and extremely cute. The landscaping was beautiful with the flowers and surrounding lemon trees. Pool was spotless, very clean and much needed! Thank you for having such a wonderful place to stay! Elena's home was hands down the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. Perfect for two couples, we relaxed, took in the views, and enjoyed the local culture. Elena and her sister (and whole family) were so helpful getting around as well.

Our stay at Robertos villa was perfect! He was beyond helpful and so friendly - organised transports to and from the airport at reasonable prices, always responded within minutes and gave us amazing recommendations. The pictures of the view do not do it justice, we couldn’t get over it! Also within a 5 minute walk to the town of Ravello which had lovely restaurants and bars. Couldn’t recommend enough.

You must be mad not to stay here if you get the chance! We instantly felt at home and were welcomed like old friends. The apartment has a beautiful nostalgic feel and you can tell how much love has been put into it over the years. It has everything you need, so much so we cooked and ate in as much as out due to the wonderful views from the balcony where you could watch the world go by. Roberta could not have been more helpful and was so quick to respond to any questions we had; she also gave us the best suggestions for places to go, eat and drink and also made reservations for us. We will come back here for sure and cannot recommend highly enough!

Marina’s apartment was a gem! We loved our stay in Atrani and the apartment was perfect. We spent the end of each day lounging on the patio looking out at the beautiful sea. Marina was incredibly thoughtful and left many surprises for us upon arrival. Atrani was exactly what we hoped for-it was laid back and inviting, a wonderful respite from the busy cities of the Amalfi coast. The locals were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!!!

It is hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay here. First of all, Gabriella is a FANTASTIC host. From the moment we started communicating she was so helpful, booking activities for us and arranging for taxis with drivers who were so friendly. And her father, Giuseppe, was so warm and welcoming as well. The home was absolutely spotless, had so many amenities, and Gabriella provided so many thoughtful and nice touches that made us feel so well loved and cared for. They truly felt like family. We were here celebrating two 25th anniversaries between our two families, as well as the graduation of our children from high school. We could not have picked a more beautiful and special place. Two of our outings - a boat tour to Capri that started and ended in Amalfi and hiking the Path of the Gods, finishing in Positano - made us feel even better about our choice of where to stay. Those other two cities were packed, but Furore was so peaceful. We highly recommend this lovely home!

Teresa was a wonderful host. From the moment I booked her apartment, she was very helpful. Teresa went above and beyond to give me information about traveling to the Amalfi Coast. She helped with ways to arrive in Minori. I didn’t know that it was easier to take a train from where we were arriving from. She provided me with helpful tips as I was planning my trip. Teresa has an assistant, Mario who helps with bringing luggage to her apartment because there are a lot of steps. I was traveling with my mom who has a bit of a hard time with all the steps in and around the Amalfi Coast and Mario was so helpful every step of the way. Minori is absolutely breathtaking and it’s a 5 minute walk to the center of the village. The ferry is a 5 minute walk and so are the buses, restaurants and shopping. Easily accessible to Amalfi, Positano, Capri etc. We absolutely loved how accessible Teresa apartment was to everything. Teresa was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. 🤍

Beau logement dans un petit village tranquille avec une vue incroyable sur la mer. Nous sommes à environ 30 minutes de Positano et Amalfi en transport en commun. À quelques pas de la randonnée du Sentier des Dieux… Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et réactifs aux demandes.

If you stay here, plan on spending one night relaxing on the balcony. The view is just breathtaking. There is a local shop close by where you can buy wine and cheese and bread … very romantic! Not to detract from the many restaurants nearby, we ate at Il Fornillo which was superb! Positano is a truly beautiful town and this bnb is beyond charming. Tip - Make sure to arrange baggage service if you arrive by ferry! We really enjoyed our stay, wish it could’ve been longer but a wonderful memory nonetheless. Thank you so much Casa Baker.

A perfectly situated little apartment with an incredible view of the Marina! We had our pick of restaurants along the waterfront steps from the apartment. Salvatore was super helpful and friendly! He helped us make some restaurant bookings and also lent us some beach towels during our visit. The apartment is small and basic but very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Already miss enjoying a coffee or glass of wine on that balcony with that view!

Valentina and Tiziana were so lovely and their home was amazing. They provided so many helpful tips and information And the house exceeded our expectations 2 balconies with stunning views, a big kitchen and dining/lounge room and all the bathroom and washing amenities you could need. We choose Praiano to save on costs however having stayed there I wouldn’t stay in Amalfi or Positano again! It was a lovely little town close enough to both but far enough from the craziness A 10/10 stay all around

We had an incredible time staying at Andrea’s place. He was super helpful in meeting us and helping us bring luggage up to the apartment. The view was beyond beautiful and he went out of his way to make sure he showed us everything in the kitchen and all the amenities we could use. His family was very friendly and we loved the terrace. Being able to do laundry was a huge bonus. The location couldn’t have been better; we were right in the middle of the square and the apartment overlooks the port of Amalfi. Very easy for ferry access and getting something to eat. Would definitely recommend!!

Antonella’s Chez Amelie (named after her daughter) will be one of our most treasured family memories. Climbing up the many rocky steps to the home wasn’t easy (to be fully transparent) in particular with luggage. But the home, scenery and ambience of the location was marvelous! Antonella is a great hostess, almost immediately responsive and sweet as can be. We got used to walking to town and back each night for dinner, and while challenging for my family, it’s easier without luggage! We also ate at La Preferita, a family restaurant down the street. This was a lovely and tasty experience. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. I’d definitely return to Chez Amelie (with much less luggage)! Thank you, Antonella!

Where to begin with this incredible town and home. Roses dream house is a dream. The sea view and private patio are perfect for your quiet mornings and evenings. It would be a great sun patio too during the day. It was very private. This place had the basic amenities you need. It was clean and super safe! There were no steps to get to this adorable abode, that is not an easy thing to find and was so much appreciated. The host was incredible. So responsive to any question we had. Offered food suggestions, made dinner reservations, gave us boat schedules and more. Inside there is the bus schedule as well. We loved taking the water taxis to Amalfi and Positano instead of a crowded bus. Must eat something light and have drinks at Miragalli, the owner Mario is a gem. Also check out Ciali Bistrot & Kasai was our other favorite restaurant. This place was quiet and we love Praiano away from crowds of the other 2 main towns. We felt like locals. You will not be disappointed!

We loved our stay in Praiano. We enjoyed Praiano’s relaxed atmosphere compared to surrounding cities. There is no ferry or cruise ship dock in Praiano, thus it is much less crowded compared to Amalfi and Positano. It is very easy to take water taxi’s to nearby towns and attractions. The hosts were very accommodating and answered our questions, which helped as it was our first visit to the area. The villa is very clean, beautifully constructed and well appointed. We enjoyed our time on the patio, using the kitchen, and taking in the views. When visiting Praiano, you should be prepared to do a lot of walking and climbing stairs. We would recommend the Villa to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Das war meine 24 Airbnb Unterkunft und ich muss sagen Anna und Michele, denen das Haus gehört, sind die besten und liebevollsten Hosts die ich jemals hatte. Man merkt das sie alles von Herzen machen. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen das Abendessen Angebot wahrzunehmen, denn es macht das Erlebnis an der Amalfi-Küste perfekt. Die Unterkunft war äußerst sauber und wie ich finde Geschmackvoll sowie mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Als Familie mit zwei Kinder im Alter von 9-11 haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor der Unterkunft gibt es eine Bushaltestelle an der auch ein Spezial Shuttle hält. Dadurch ist man nicht unbedingt auf die überfüllten öffentlichen Busse angewiesen. Es würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich diese Unterkunft in der Zukunft wieder besuchen könnte.

What a beautiful ideal spot between positano and amalfi - just 10-15 min from each with an ocean view. We wanted to stay in praiano because others online had recommended it as quiet and conveniently located. We were delighted that we made this our home base for 6 days while easily visiting so many sites and towns nearby. There’s just enough to do in praiano that it didn’t feel isolated. It felt like a respite from the busy touristy spots. The apartment , villa , cottage (not sure what to call it) was the perfect size for us. Adele gave us thorough instructions for the house , the neighborhood , transportation and recommendations. She was quick to respond and went the extra mile to reserve some private cars and porters to help us. There’s even a washer for clothes, A/C, a full fridge and a dishwasher for dishes. Kasai and Il Pino were our favorite restaurants walking distance. A dip in the sea was an unexpected highlight also💦 (lots of stairs. ) I highly recommend this unit.

Serena's place is better than the pictures. If you want somewhere to relax off the beaten path on the Almalfi Coast this is the place. Serena is amazing and so helpful with recommendations and ideas for transportation. Serena's dad picked us up and took us back to the ferry terminal as well as the mini market so we didn't have to walk up the hill. We would definitely stay here again.
