Soak in the Sleek, Freestanding Tub at a Chic Former Stables

We love our house and think you will too. Through the last 4 years, the "stable house" has undergone a major transformation with the love of the history of the house in mind. You will find old beams on the first floor and giant windows in the kitchen and lounge/study from when the house was used as stables. All mixed in with a hyper-modern kitchen and spa-feel bathrooms. The house consists of a kitchen with seating space for up to 8 people, a lounge/study with room for two extra beds (with high-quality mattresses), a living room with a bio-fireplace and a bedroom with a "walk-in" closet. Furthermore, you will find two bathrooms in the house. One at ground level with a rain-fall shower and an ensuite in the bedroom area on the first floor with bathtub and shower. The first floor is very open space and a real New Yorker vibe to it. There's a great sound system throughout the house with speakers in every room (even the bathrooms). Most of the decor is specially made and was recently featured in Residence Magazine 2019.  We love to travel the world and know how big a difference the little details makes. That's why you'll find bathrobes, soft towels, snacks, wine and a personal guide of our favorite restaurants and places to hang out. We plan to travel when guests stay at our house but won't be further away than a phone call. We have close family living in the city who knows the house very well and can be called in if you face any difficulties. We also have a great community and lovely neighbours – by all means stop for a chat :) This calm retreat is located right by the beautiful lakes of Copenhagen on a peaceful one-way street. Østerbro is a great area on the border of Nørrebro and the inner city, within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafes, shops, and sights. We have our own parking lot if you come to Copenhagen by car. If not you'll find public transportation only 2 minutes from the house.

Apartment in nature North Zealand

Stay in the countryside in North Zealand 30 km from Copenhagen surrounded by fields, woods and lakes in an independent apartment that is established in the old barn. The apartment, which is brand new, has a new kitchen and bathroom, ceiling for the kitchen, terrace, a well-functioning living room and bedroom with closet. The barn is next to our home. Good location in relation to North Zealand and Copenhagen, close to Nivå harbor and beach and possibility of public transport, train and bus (there is a bus to and from Kokkedal station 400 m from the house.

Originally listed as a horse stable in 1832, this building is now converted into a charming home with its own kitchen and toilet. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a stop along the way on the bike holiday. On the ground floor you will find an open plan kitchen and living room in one, with access to a private terrace as well as a bathroom. On the first floor there is a spacious room with four single beds and a view of the sea from one end of the room. The home must be left in the same condition as upon arrival. Breakfast is available for purchase.

Close to the large forest area at Gjorslev Manor is "Bakkeskov", which is a beautiful and cozy 4-wing farm. The guest house is in the original barn building, which, after a thorough renovation, has achieved a fantastic transformation. Visible beams and idyllic stable windows preserve the authentic look of a former barn. In the 78 m2, there is both a cozy sleeping area with a double bed /B:180 cm, as well as an open kitchen-living room environment, as well as a modern bathroom with shower.

Du kan gå derned over markerne ned til en lille hyggelig havn, med badebro. På markerne ser man ofte rådyr, der er også en del rovfugle og fasaner i området.
