Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Capilungo

The tranquility and seclusion in nature were very nice. Especially the many opportunities to spend time outside on the terrace and in the garden. Birdsong included... Everything is very private, you are on your own. Due to cool and wet weather, we also had to move indoors. It was worth it to be in this beautiful house. We were very comfortable there. A comfy home with beautiful high vaulted ceilings. It has a huge rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Massimo was easy to communicate with and kind enough to swap mattresses so the firmest one was on the down stairs bed for us. There is a quite steep, winding and narrow staircase to get into the apartment and more to get to the second bedroom and also the rooftop terrace which adds to its charm but may not be suitable for the elderly and unfit. Its in a very quiet location only 10 minute walk from the station and only a few minutes to bars and restaurants.

We relaxed the minute we walked down the stairs to the house and saw the beautiful view over the Adriatic. Our group of two couples loved the many outdoor areas, the comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Great to have a BBQ too. Vincenzo and Giulia were fantastic hosts and were very helpful. Castro is a lovely town on the south coast and we definitely recommend Casa Le Radici.

What a lovely tucked away little place this is. The appartment is designed with taste, respect for history, all the comfort you could wish for. Kitchen very complete. A lovely flowered terrace to have your morning tea or breakfast. No wifi (yet?), but we did not miss it a bit. (On the nearby Piazza Salandra you can find free wifi). In the heart of the historic centre, with shops, cafes, restaurants, a central supermarket, everything one might think of nearby, just 2 minutes. Yet it is very quiet and secluded. Nardò itself is very elegant and pleasant. We would love to come again to this little place of Andrea and Maria. Thank you very much. Tot ziens!

We had the most amazing time at the Masseria! The property is beautifully curated … rooms full of character and quirky details, spacious and most of all homely . The large outdoor area allows for al fresco dining and plenty of socialising. Beautiful pool area and gardens …the attention to detail is incredible. Thank you Francesca for creating such a wonderful home and allowing us to share it !

Absolutely incredible time at Enrica’s home, I think this is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Super central in the historic centre but so quiet, large comfortable beds, amazing balcony, plus the home is so much bigger than the photos! I hope to be back very soon and would recommend 100%. We chose Maison Manara for a family break and its location just a short drive to the wedding venue our Son and his Wife were attending. The house was very well equipped and easy to self-cater, apart from the power outages, but we managed. Access to bathroom and shower facilities, via bedrooms, were different than usual but being one big family wasn’t an issue for us. Our grandchildren enjoyed the toys and hours of fun in the pool. Trips to the local park were frequent and also allowed us to enjoy a drink at the adjoining cafe/bar at the same time. We feel we’ve had a truly authentic Italian experience in the heart of the village, it was very peaceful and everyone was so friendly. The local grocery store was really well stocked with lovely fresh produce, meats, cheeses and breads. Clara and Mikka were excellent hosts and provided lots of useful information on the local area and places to visit, although we weren’t quite prepared for the unwelcome mosquito bites!!

Every time you travel, you have that feeling of finding something new, although being a host deserves to have the desire and time, this woman and her partner have made us want to get to know them better, they are charming people, respectful, reliable, and very friendly and kind, we will gladly see them again in their beautiful apartment. From the coffee pods and fresh water upon arrival to the final greeting, Donato and Lucia were wonderful hosts; they were also extremely flexible on both check-in and check-out. The house was very clean and tidy, very spacious for two people and equipped with brand new furniture. The location is central in Taviano and there is always space for the car in the side streets; also if you do not have a car the station is a 5-minute walk.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Artist's Apartment and would recommend to anyone visiting Lecce! The space had everything we needed and a beautiful terrace, with a hammock - perfect for relaxing after seeing the city. The shower is very small but this didn't bother us. The place is walkable to the beautiful old town and has air-con. The host let us in slightly early which was really helpful and appreciated. The flat was beautiful and had fun quirky art everywhere - we loved our stay!

Davide was super responsive and friendly, we enjoyed our stay the apartment is full of details and clean. We arrive later than plan he was super flexible on the check-in.

A wonderful stay. The apartment was very clean. The main bedroom is on the street so is quite loud at night and in the early morning, but the location is amazing for exploring. The staircase is tight and steep, but no problem for us. A lovely, well furnished, shaded deck upstairs. We were getting multiple messages a day from the lady who checked us in. About putting out garbage etc. Maybe all this info in one message would be better than constant messaging. But other than that we really had a wonderful stay.

Being an excellent host ,Guiseppe was waiting for us when we arrived in order to guide us and give us the necessary information for the proper functioning of the apartment . We loved and appreciated that he shares with us the history of his beautiful home,transmitted to his family for a very long time ,as well as the transformations he has made there. We were looking for a quiet place in a good location and we found it in Carpignano , a great base for visiting the area! I recommend it.

Our stay in Castrignano del Capo was a real dream! Lorenzo's house is an authentic gem: tastefully cared for in every detail, cozy and immersed in absolute quiet. The terrace is enchanting, overlooking a centuries-old olive grove that offers a peace that is difficult to describe in words. A sensory and regenerating experience. A great deal of credit also goes to Lorenzo, his mother Antonella and his father Pietro, who are always available and attentive. They welcomed us warmly, providing us with valuable advice on places to visit, typical restaurants and the most beautiful beaches. Always present if necessary, but with great discretion. The location is ideal: in a few minutes you can reach the wonderful beaches of Salento and the authentic villages of the Salento hinterland. Castrignano is a quiet but lively village, with friendly and helpful people. It's the perfect place for those looking for beauty, silence, nature, and authenticity. We left a piece of our heart here! Highly recommended!

This place is stunning! We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view all day. We did a grocery shop prior to arriving, cooked/bbq’d without issue (plenty of cooking utensils/dishes), and ate al fresco when the weather permitted. We did laundry and everything air-dried quickly in the sun and breeze. Did a beautiful coastal drive. Loved everything about this place. Assunta gave great recommendations, met us to review everything, and was very responsive to the few questions we had. The bed was super comfy too. Oh and did I mention THE VIEW? Tons of storage to keep the bedroom uncluttered. Assunta provided snacks (loved the cookies), rusks, taralli, and a bottle of wine too! We would love to return year after year! It’s a WOW!

This place was even more beautiful than the photos. Gorgeous views everywhere you looked. Sunrises were magical. Ada and her husband were so very kind and helpful with any questions we had. This place is a perfect oasis for a group gathering. You wouldn’t need to leave the property if you didn’t want to. So much to see and do right on site including pool and outdoor pizza oven. Several little spots to eat or have a drink with sea view within minutes. Santa Maria Di Leuca is only 15 minutes away with many terrific restaurants and touring options!

Buena Onda's place was just perfect. The quality of the services exceeded our expectations and the villa was even more beautiful than in photos. The interior of the house is very well decorated and offers plenty of space for a family, with well separated parts that allowed our 11 year old daughter to have her own space. The house is also very well located and makes it easy to visit the south of the chickens by being both close to Otrante, Lecce or Gallipoli. We recommend this address without hesitation to all families or friends wishing to visit the area and spend a pleasant time in a house in the heart of nature.

Had a great stay! The place was exactly as described – tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The location was perfect: quiet, but still well connected. I particularly liked the outdoor area with pool. Bea was super friendly, helpful and always available. I'd come back anytime – absolutely recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Francesca’s. We were in contact with Lukas who was extremely helpful, clear and friendly. At check in, Lukas met us and showed us around, he had many local recommendations for us. Throughout the stay he was super responsive and helpful. The first morning we woke up to fresh croissant and pasticciotti!! The house was beautiful, very spacious, full of light and extremely clean. There are many places to sit and many amenities like the pool, outside showers, hammocks and outside BBQ area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you.

Stefania's house is not on a nature-protected coast, surrounded by a huge garden with beautiful plants, from which you can see the sea from everywhere. We had a perfect stay in Stefania's house and felt extremely comfortable. For people who love nature, this place is an absolute paradise and Stefania is an unrestricted excellent host who does everything at all times to make her guests feel comfortable. Since we had our dog Anton with us, the large garden was also a perfect place for him. From the grounds you can take wonderful walks along small country roads all the way down to the sea. The coast in this region is stunningly beautiful with lots of small coves and wonderful hiking opportunities. We fully recommend Stefania and her heavenly garden. We spent a week in the villa with our children. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Stefania and were overwhelmed by the beautiful view of the sea. The whole complex is very well maintained and lovingly furnished. There is everything you need for a perfect vacation. We felt very comfortable. We can fully recommend the villa!
