Family-friendly vacation rentals in Canadian Rockies

This place was absolutely perfect for our friend’s bachelor party. The property is stunning—private, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The house was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped, with super comfortable beds and a great common area for our group of 10. The wood-fired hot tub was a huge hit—soaking under the stars with the fire crackling beside us was unforgettable. The location felt remote and serene, yet was just a short drive to Invermere for anything we needed. The stargazing was unreal with totally clear skies. Gerard & Caio were kind, responsive, and made everything seamless. No issues at all—just good vibes and an incredible weekend. This was truly one of the best getaways we’ve had. We’d return in a heartbeat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your private guesthouse with long late afternoon soaks in the hot tub to relax after hiking local trails and exploring all the special places around the Sunshine Coast during our stay. Wonderful stay at the Smiley Wolf Cabin! The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were comfy and the towels & linens were great. The kitchen was well equipped. Ben was a friendly and responsive host. Do not hesitate to book your stay at this lovely place.

Excellent condo in a beautiful area! Lots to do in Canmore and 30 minutes to 1 hour away from Banff (depending where you’re going) the drive from Canmore to Banff is gorgeous. The condo was spotless, super comfortable bed, great shower and wonderful view! One of our favorite air bnb’s we’ve stayed in. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a true Guest House experience. Hans and Denise were just incredible hosts. Really thoughtful and personal. The location is top notch, and the cabin is perfect. 10/10. Can’t fault it.

Incredible getaway in the forest. Very large space for a bigger group with great amenities. If you are looking for a place in nature and quiet, this is a great spot.

I felt right at home here. Bette and Patrick are so friendly… I could have spent our whole stay just visiting with them! Everything about our stay was perfect. Our dog and toddler had a blast running around on the big grassy area. And Grandma and Grandpa were right next door in the other rental cabin for convenient deck hopping and child care. The location was ideal because we attended a wedding at Heritage Acres Museum, but in my opinion it would be worth the drive off the main drag even if we were just travelling through! Definitely hope to stay here again one day!

Had a great 3 days, Bill was welcoming, informative and very friendly. Lovely views and we really liked Golden and our trips to the Banff and the National Parks. Highly recommend

It was a great location, very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was very clean and cozy, we felt right at home. The cabin has everything we needed.

Highly recommend! Very clear instructions, easy to find. Service was not great on the property so I would recommend loading a map with the address before driving off the highway. The property was very clean and obviously very well maintained. We did not use the hot tub but it was nice that the option was there. The mosquitoes were active, we recommend bringing bug spray! The beds were comfortable. Very clean. Very peaceful relaxing place to be!

What can I say about Laurel. She's amazing! My niece and I were very happy with our stay. It felt like she genuinely cared about your stay and wanted to make every minute enjoyable. Very helpful and thoughtful. It was also great to hear about the great things she does for her community and how the contributions from the airbnb assist with that. Would definitely stay again. If you go, say hi to Hoss for me.

**An idyllic stay in the heart of nature!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We spent 14 absolutely perfect nights in the Blaeberry Golden cabin. Nestled in an exceptional natural setting, it offers absolute tranquility and total immersion for nature lovers. The cabin is fully equipped, combining comfort and authenticity. We had the joy of sharing our stay with three graceful deer and a colony of Columbia ground squirrels, who kept us company throughout our days. Christina, our host, was exemplary: attentive, available, and incredibly kind. Every day, we explored the wonders of the Rockies, before returning in the evening to the cozy warmth of the cabin. An unforgettable stay that we highly recommend!

Very comfortable apartment. Great views from balcony. Unfortunately, it faces a road used by trucks so is rather noisy, especially at night. The queen beds were comfortable, but would suggest that the twin beds are probably only suitable for children. We enjoyed our stay here.

We had a wonderful stay in Canmore. Tina and Steve did a great job communicating and were always available via text. The kitchen was well stocked and the condo was very clean. The views were not fabulous but the condo is in a great location (we walked from there through the town). We enjoyed the restaurants, boardwalk, and nearby hikes. Easy drive into Banff. We spent each evening in the hot tub, which was nice as you could sit indoors or outdoors.

Booked Colleen’s place for a weekend getaway with the boyfriend, and it was a great stay! No complaints. The decor was really lovely! and it was awesome having your own hot tub, one of my favourite airbnb’s so far. Everything was clean and comfy. Very central location, easy 10 minute walk to almost everything. Even before we had our stay Colleen was so helpful sending me links and what not for fun things to do locally (my first real whistler trip). Thank you so much. We will be back!

This place is wonderful and exactly as described. Our kids loved the pool area and the hot tub area had a beautiful view. The only thing to be aware of is the AC had not been turned on for the building evidently when we were there and it was pretty uncomfortably hot most the nights we stayed here, 78 degrees some nights. We had no control over the AC. That being said I still gave it 5 stars because everything else was great.

Beautiful place right on the ocean. It was great having the heated pool, hot tub and kids play area. A short drive to great cafes and bakeries.

Pauline was prompt in communicating and answering questions ahead of time, and her place is wonderful for families. We all enjoyed the space and the perfect location for exploring the area.
