Cottage vacation rentals in Canadian Rockies

We really enjoyed our time at the East tide’s cottage! It was lovely to be able to enjoy the hot tub and fireplace and made for a very relaxing environment. We found the pathway leading to the cottage to be a bit “wild” and would recommend not bringing a wheelie suitcase or wearing nice shoes as it was a bit muddy, even on dry days. It’s a simple, quiet getaway nestled in thick growth and we found it quite peaceful.

Nicole's place is amazing, great communication and everything is as she described. she was super helpful with anything we needed! The yard is quiet and private. there is a shared pool and hot tub not to mention mini golf was so much fun. I will definitely be staying again if given the chance.

Jida’s property was the perfect place to escape the city and relax in nature. The house is clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals. The back porch views were lovely and the conditions allowed for viewing the northern lights in the evenings! Jida is a kind and attentive host. We highly recommend her home and hope to visit again soon!

This place is such a hidden gem! Our stay was absolutely wonderful and both Hugh & Deb went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and had every amenity we could think of. We left there wanting to book our stay for the next time we return to the island. Honestly 10/10 doesn’t cut it.

We had a great stay! Grandkids swam in the pool most every evening, and it was great to have the beach so close! Accommodations were very clean, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils needed for preparing meals and grilling. The grands loved discovering the box of toys too!

Douglas is a great host! Very responsive and kind. The house is beautiful and welcoming. We loved our stay!

Beautiful home! Place was clean and instructions were very clear for check in and expectations upon checkout.

We loved staying in the little blue house. Just minutes away from the action that Inglewood has to offer: microbreweries, restaurants, shops and the Ironwood theatre. Downtown is a nice stroll away. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the firepit, the well equiped kitchen and the nice furniture. Would love to come back again.

Spent a weekend with friends. Adults, kids and dogs had a great time. Beautiful views! Holly was very responsive and helpful.

Chris’s place had everything we needed for our family of 4 to stay in Sylvan lake. The location was a mere 5 minute walk to the beach and maybe another 10 minutes to local shops and restaurants. It had everything we needed and Chris was a super friendly host. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Cynthia’s place. Very cozy and quaint cabin, plenty of room for our group, games for the kids and a beautiful outdoor space.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your cozy oceanfront paradise!!! We felt right at home and felt honoured to be able to spend time in what is obviously such a cherished family cabin. The location is absolutely incredible and we really appreciate how well stocked the whole cabin is with games, kitchen items, etc. We especially loved the sunroom and our kids loved cuddling up and reading books on the couch in there. Kevan's home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy and comfortable. There is lots of seating, indoors and out making it a great place for our family to hang out together. The kitchen is fully equipped, and all appliances function well. The beds are comfortable and everyone slept well. The standout is the spectacular garden. A true oasis. Perfect couple's getaway spot on the Sunshine Coast! The cottage is beautiful - classic rustic design with all the modern amenities you would need. Steps away from the water on a smooth pebbled beach. We soaked up the peaceful sounds of nature and the sea from the porch every day. The property's landscaping is A+! We loved the gorgeous sunsets and dramatic tides (a novelty for Ontario folks!). If you want to feel connected to nature, while still being close enough to towns/Vancouver, this is the place to stay. We loved the easy access to magnificent mountainous hiking trails, and a boat tour out of Egmont (Princess Louisa Inlet is a must-see!). Every night wrapped with a sleep in verrry comfy bed, looking at the stars through the skylight. Stunning! Sue & Gil were fantastic hosts. Very responsive and helpful, and respectful of privacy on the property. We had such a wonderful stay in Halfmoon Bay! Can't wait to get back to this incredible region of BC.

Terrific place to stay! Nestled in a charming historic neighbourhood of Cumberland, the space is well-designed and feels light and airy. Very comfortable bed and bath, everything we needed plus some thoughtful extra touches. The weather was a little cool during our stay so we appreciated the heating, and could imagine that the bedroom ceiling fan and portable AC would be useful in a heat spell. The host was helpful, and we appreciated the flexibility with our departure time. We hope to return when we're next in Cumberland!

Susi and Bruces place is nothing short of paradise. Bruce met us at the house to show us around and was extremely kind and accommodating. The photos don't do this airbnb justice of how absolutely serene and beautiful it is. The sounds of wildlife and the clear view of the lake are calming and relaxing, while the house has so many amenities, and special touches. We hope to return again, and spend longer in this beautiful home. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space!

Hi highly recommend Cedar Cottage for those looking for a peaceful, private place to stay. The cottage is small but beautifully and comfortably furnished. Ted and Shirley are very friendly and welcoming hosts.

Amazing place to enjoy nature. Our dog enjoyed the stay and all the space to be off leash. The river was quite cold but we did swim once and wade a bit at the beach. The river was quite fast so if you had a dog which wanted to jump into the water it would be difficult. Mosquitoes weren’t too bad, but I would still put on bug spray if staying outside for long. We saw an elk herd on the other side of the river so they are around.

For those who want to get away from the noise and anxiety. Any - city, moral, tired, office, idiot boss.... If you want to hear a fox yelp at night, if you dreamed of seeing the Milky Way pierce the mountain range and at the same time hear the splash of trout in the lake nearby... you definitely need to come here. We were recently and will definitely come back. Good and very kind hosts.

We loved staying at Pearl’s! The cottage had everything we needed and more. Pearl had recently installed a new fire place and left us some local homemade bread and jam. She also had plenty of recommendations and knowledge of the surrounding areas!

We had a great time in the cottage of James! It was easy to find following his directions. We were welcomed by a stunning sunset, the First of several. We used the kitchen only once as there‘s also a BBQ on the deck of the cottage and some restaurants in the area James recommended. There’s a canoe one can use, unfortunately it was so windy we couldn‘t try it. To be honest we have not seen wildlife like whales from the cottage as June seems to be too Early for that, but there are several wildlife tours in the area and we have seen some grizzlys and others during those. The Area is Full of history about the First Nations and James provides next to games, books and binoculars for entertainment also some information about the history of the closer towns. We loved our stay and can only recommend it!!!

We stayed in Corine‘s beautiful and cosy cabin for four nights and liked it instantly. The cabin is located on the farm of Corine‘s family near Hagensborg. Corine is a great and friendly host! We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed walking around the farmgrounds being watched by a curious bunch of pigs and the friendly farm dog Pappy. You can walk to a great old forest trail on the riverside. Or drive a few minutes up to the Lost Lake trail in the midst of the wilderness. One of our best holiday stays ever. Very highly recommended.
