Monthly Rentals in Campioli

We had a GREAT time in Cresti. The village is lovely, there are plenty of easy and challenging hikes within walking distance (and there’s a good bus connection to Antrona), a really nice coffee bar just down the road, the best pizza 20 min walk away. But what really made our time special was the house and hosts:) Maddalena’s house is cosy, charming and beautifully and naturally decorated, and the two woodstoves (and hot bath!) kept us warm this autumn. Don’t expect luxury, but a inviting house to reconnect with yourself and the nature of Ossola. Most of all, Maddalena and Lorenza are one of a kind. They are hardworking farmers, kind souls and attentive hosts. They provided us with tips, wood and cheese, were so helpful and friendly in communication and were open to connect. We stayed longer than expected because it was all such a beautiful experience. We cannot wait to come back.

Conni and Karsten are extremely nice and helpful hosts who are also clear-language, which was very pleasant for us. The place, which is located in an old stone house, was very clean and equipped with everything you need. It also has a kind of terrace that offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The whole village is a special and rare place for peace seekers who appreciate proximity to nature and simplicity. In this environment, it is particularly easy to slow down and recharge, because the whole village is car-free and looks like it was from another time. Those who are interested in meditation and spirituality will get their money's worth in the Buddhist center in the neighboring village of Bordo. Alida and Herbert

Very nice, historic house in great surroundings. Antonino was present throughout the stay and was able to give us many tips and interesting things about the house, place and surroundings. He was very helpful. The mountains at the end of the valley are gigantic and can be reached in 10 minutes. Very nice hikes are possible nearby. You can sit very nicely on the historic balconies or on the terrace overlooking Monte Rosa. The adjacent river rushes very loudly. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment is very nice, large and comfortable. Well-equipped bathroom and kitchen, comfortable rooms and cozy living room, with a large TV and fireplace. Everything was very clean. Monica and her husband were very nice. We had a great time and I recommend this place for a vacation in Macugnaga!
