The house is highly recommended. It is extremely functional, with large spaces and impeccable cleanliness. The living-dining room is very comfortable, ideal for relaxing or working. For those who work online, as is my case, it is an excellent place: it has good internet, a work table, different types of chairs and a pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen is fully stocked for long stays and is very comfortable. Francisco, the host, was always available and attentive. While the house is spectacular, the town of Chelém is not the best destination for tourists. The streets have quite a lot of trash and construction materials scattered, which affects their appearance. The beaches are not the best either: they don't have much sand and are not ideal for walking. That said, if the reason for the stay is work or any other reason that does not depend on the town's appeal, this house is simply perfect.

Excellent location, a really beautiful apartment, we spent 8 days for my husband's recovery and it was amazing to 🫢 wake up and see the lake. Wow, that's priceless, an incredibly beautiful view, we could go for a quiet walk. I felt at home and Charito's service was wonderful, she was always attentive, and when I had any questions she answered quickly, she was very kind and friendly. Rating 11 out of 10. When I return to Merida I will definitely stay here again.

Highly recommended, the area is very safe and the price is affordable. The only bad thing is that it is 25 minutes from downtown.

My stay at Dario's house was great! It was just as pictured and I felt at home. I loved the serene atmosphere, and the backyard has a privacy wall where I was able to peacefully practice my morning yoga and wall-to-wall lunges. My yoga mat was delivered by Amazon which was convenient; also, conveniently located within a three minute walk is an OXXO with food, supplies, beer, water, etc. The home is clean, well equipped for cooking meals with a comfortable bed. There are a few barking dogs which I'm getting used to here in Merida. Most importantly Dario and Elsy were quick to respond and I'm almost certain it would be hard to find any Airbnb hosts who could beat their kindness and hospitality! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a tranquil, safe and peaceful location.
