Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Camigliatello Silano

This is a very charming and substantial historical residence in Decollatura. We stayed here as it was walking distance to our family who we were visiting for almost a week. Arcangelo and his family were perfect hosts making us feel welcome and responding to queries in a timely manner. It is such a joy to stay in a home that is used by a family as it means that everything you need to be able to cook and entertain is right here. We had a wonderful time having our family of 12 people for a beautiful lunch. There are also places to eat out, (although we mostly ate with our family in their homes). The garden and grounds are also very beautiful. We cannot recommend Arcangelo and his beautiful home enough, I hope we get to stay again!

Antonio, his wife and mother Mina were so warm and welcoming. Our trip from Rome was much longer than we anticipated and they waited up until 1:30 am to let us in. The home is beautiful and so well equipped for a comfortable visit. Mina so graciously, took us to restaurant, where we could eat and helped us connect with our distant relatives. The whole experience was a dream come true for us. We were only here for two days but I would highly recommend a longer stay. The views are beautiful. A great place for an artist or writer or anyone needing to be restored. God willing we would love to return.

Surreal views. Phenomenal service. The city is rich in history. The dinners were also fabulous and fresh—from their homegrown garden. I recommend this getaway in the mountains to anybody who appreciates sustainable living and breathtaking, once-in-lifetime experiences. Worth every penny.

I spent a few days in this house, very beautiful and located in a beautiful village near Lamezia reachable in a few minutes, the house is equipped with everything you need in addition to being very clean and well divided I would recommend it to anyone who want to spend a few days of tranquility 2 steps from the sea and the mountains, Mrs. Marie Antoinette very helpful and professional the house upon our arrival was in excellent condition, at check out was also present the husband very short person, I will definitely return!

we spent Christmas weekend in the apartment managed by Lorenzo, it was really like feeling at home. the accommodation was equipped with all the necessary useful: kitchen, washing machine, etc. Everything is functional and efficient. Great location, not to mention the beautiful view that overlooked the lake. we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

The apartment is very clean, equipped and characteristic , the location is amazing, very close to the center . The owner welcomed us very punctually with the fireplace on . Difficult, it is especially difficult for those who are not practical to turn on the fireplace and you have to have a spirit of adaptation because when you return or in the morning if the fire is not well fed, the apartment is quite cold . I think it's perfect as an apartment in the mid-season or summer . Winter is a little hard for those who are used to the comforts of radiators.

My girlfriend and me were for the first time in Lamezia Terme. It was a very short visit in this beautiful city. The accomondation was great. The checkin was very smooth and hassle free. The communication between us and the host made our uncertain arrival at the accomodation very smooth. We were welcomed very nicely by the father of the host (Antonio). The accomodation in itself was kept very very clean and organised. This all made our stay so easy and uncomplicated. Even the recommendations given for dinner were great. Our suggestion is to pre-book in advance for dinner given that Lamezia Terme definitely has a good night life too and can be crowded. To summarise, the flexibility of the host and the hospitality made our short stay very memorable. All in all worth recommending- Super host!

Loredana and her husband were really very kind and understanding with us who had problems with the car and arrived later than expected. The accommodation is very nice and equipped with all the comforts, centrally located, from where all the places of interest in Lorica are within walking distance. Great experience!

Massimo is a very welcoming host. He made sure that we had everything we needed. The Appartement is small but contains everything you need for cooking and was super clean. The area is very beautiful and the forests are serene. It is the perfect spot for going on hikes and longer daytrips. We had a great stay!

We gladly returned to Alessandro. Hosts who are always available, friendly, and responsive. The building boasts a strategic location (a stone's throw from the main street, but at the same time sheltered and quiet) and well divided and comfortable spaces even for 4 people. Some small improvements, already suggested, would, however, be useful to enhance it without distorting the rustic style that distinguishes it. The availability of essential amenities (pillowcases, sheets and towels), which not everyone offers in the area is very appreciated.

Beautiful house

An unparalleled and unforgettable experience… We loved every detail of the apartment. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was the most interesting I have ever seen (with tall glass panels). Giovanni was very helpful answering all our questions. Oh and the floors were beautiful as well. It’s like stepping back in time which for me is very special! (thank you for the oranges, coffee, and cake)…..

I stayed with my family and 2 furry companions in this house where you can breathe the warmth of the family, it is a house where nothing is missing, in fact they have provided us with everything and more. The interior and exterior spaces are spacious and comfortable, very close to a bar where you can enjoy a good breakfast and excellent sandwiches, about 20 minutes by car from a fabulous sea. We were spoiled by the kindness and great products of the neighbor's garden. For people like us who come from a big city, waking up in the morning with the crowing of the rooster or opening the windows and a few meters away to see the cows pasturing is priceless. This place is truly a relaxing corner. Thank you!

We stayed a week in the beautiful old house with flair, large garden and cozy coziness with four adults and two children. Sufficient space for everyone in three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor, as well as living room, dining room and large kitchen-living room on the ground floor with terrace exit. In short, we were all very comfortable.

The Villa is amazing, everything we expected and more. As a lot of the other reviews have said we had plans to explore the local area but we spent a lot of our time in the pool and in the garden as it was perfect. The view every morning was breath taking, I’d throughly recommend staying at this place. We visited during a heatwave, so the pool was a welcome relief, Anna was also able to provide fans which were really useful. Air con in the bedrooms during the heat wave would have been great, but to be honest for the rest of the time, an open window and a fan was fine. The local area was great for day trips, especially San lúcido which was beautiful and had lots of nice restaurants and bars. We’ve all had a fantastic time and are sad to be leaving. Thanks for the great holiday!

Maria is a very nice person, very welcoming, and it was easy to check-in even late evening. Her house is in the middle of the Calabrian mountains, almost inside the national park of Sila. The room felt very intimate, and we had a nice Breakfast with good coffee in the morning. She even gave me recommendations on the area. I can recommend the place, worth more than the listing. Will definitely visit again if I’m around!
