Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cambridge

Rare for me to leave a review unless something went wrong; however, this went so right I was compelled to. Space was wonderful, very clean and comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond with so many high end features and amenities such as: appliances, linens and bedding, fancy soaps and shampoos, and the best master bath I’ve experienced…ever! We are from the Eastern Shore of MD ourselves but booked to make Mother’s Day weekend extra special for my wife. After a few soaks in the clawfoot tub, mission was accomplished. My daughters requested we remodel our home upon leaving and I lacked any rebuttal (which is rare). The space is great for a family or several couples. We travel a lot and this house absolutely raised the bar for all of our future BnB stays! Hats off to these owners.

We loved the experience from booking to check-out. The setting exceeded our expectations. Peaceful and beautiful landscape. Easy to launch kayaks. Chickens were an added bonus. Appreciated the close proximity of Blackwater. Would love to return.

Clare and Chris could not be nicer and easier to work with. My family/friends have been getting together since 1994 and have been to many great Airbnb's and VRBO's. My group could not stop telling me how great of a week we had. The primary features that were import to us which the house scored big are as follows: It has a dock (we arrived via boat), The kitchen is big, laid out for many "Cooks", The kitchen was open to the dining room table, The dining room table is open to the sitting areas, The pool was clean and inviting, The fire pit with seasoned firewood was a big hit for our group, All the beds were comfortable, The bedrooms were large and comfortable, The baths were clean, modern & large and The location to "What to do in Cambridge" is only 7-10 miles away. We made prearrangements: Richardson Maritime Museum to have a guided tour with David Williams on Friday and Spocott Windmill with George Radcliff. Both of these tours were fascinating. Our weekend was 5-Stars.

SUCH wonderful friendly, and personable host!! We love Victor ;-). We (3 ladies) intentionally had a “relax our brain” peaceful weekend. There is so much to write. We enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing and comfortable stay. The decor is delightful; so welcoming! We loved the personal touches like the welcome note and fresh cut flowers. There were beautiful indoor real plants and amazing views from every angel! They also recommended local places to go. We enjoyed siping coffee in the sun room, giggling all night drinking wine and sunset views. Thank you for proving the best quiet place we could ask for. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We appreciate the details and your attentiveness!

I would 100% come back! I sent my mom the link to the Airbnb before we even pulled out of the driveway. Tom and Michele’s place was so quaint and peaceful. Their backyard is GORGEOUS!! I don’t know how they don’t stay out there all the time!! We used to live in the area, so we knew of the local restaurants and bars in Solomons. If you’ve never been, there are a lot of great spots within 10 minutes!

An ideal place for a couple (and in our case a dog) looking for a peaceful, relaxing weekend in a beautiful and convenient location.

Mary's place was everything we could've asked for. It had a well stocked kitchen, comfy bed, and nice shower. She was very communicative and we would love to stay again.

Cute and cozy! I felt right at home. Jordan and Danny are very nice folks, the apartment is very well appointed. There is a dock on the property that I should have spent more time on. The bed was a dream to sleep in and I literally overslept my alarm the first day. You will definitely need a car to get around but the apartment is a 3min drive to Safeway, Walgreens, Starbucks, etc. The neighborhood has a homey feel and the apartment has a homey feel which was my jam. My dog had a little accident but I got some carpet cleaner and let Jordan know and she was very understanding. I would definitely stay here again if I am visiting Kent Island.

Amazing location and host. Very responsive. Parking pass was big bonus. No frills and has everything you could need for a convenient comfortable beach stay.

Beautiful place hidden in Southern Maryland. Great for someone that wants to get away and have access to restaurants, hiking, etc but away from commercial traffic. The large property is very peaceful and has unique architecture.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Virginie’s place! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful neighborhood made it easy to relax. Virginie was a wonderful host—kind, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions. I especially appreciated the private backyard and the attention to detail throughout the space. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

this is the second time staying at Jeff’s place and it was perfect as always. He had all the amenities that you would need. The space was very clean and he was very responsive to any questions that we had and it was only a six minute Uber ride to the beach/ night life. We’ll definitely be booking again

Oxford is my favorite place to visit on the Eastern shore and I love staying in this little place near the town park. it's so peaceful and close to everything. I love connecting with the locals I've met on my travels. I look forward to returning!

Always a great stay here! Love that everything is ready for us when we get there, lots of good games and night time books for kids, bikes for grownups is awesome, and easy to walk to beach or town!

This place is great! Lots to do around there. They also prepared some board games. Happy to visit again in the future.

The condo was easy to find and easily accessible!! The location is a short drive from the beach and very quiet!! We loved that the balcony was enclosed by a screen to help minimize the bugs and heat; There were plenty of utensils and cookware to assist you with cooking during your stay. Overall, Our stay was enjoyable and We would recommend this booking to our friends and family. We look forward to booking again!!

Brandy’s place was very nice! It was very clean and orderly and had great amenities and supplies. It was very modern and I felt very comfortable and safe there. Brandy was very responsive, courteous, and easy to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her place again if I ever go back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Jonathan provided great guidance regarding how to easily travel to this condo and getting access to the unit was seamless. The development is beautiful--great walking neighborhood and beautifully landscaped. The location enables you to access all the great things about Rehoboth and you are within walking, biking, and a short driving distance of everything. Jonathan's property is pristine and welcoming. We felt right at home immediately and were able to truly relax while we were there. Everything you think you're going to need is there and we really appreciated that core supplies were on hand when we arrived.
