Sharon's home was in the ideal location for me easily accessible from the train station. I had a really comfortable nights sleep with private use of the bathroom next door, which has a powerful shower over the bath. Sharon made me feel right at home and was able to give me a recommendation of a local pub The Chesterfield Arms which was walkable and serves homemade pizza's.

My best stay ever in the UK! Highly recommend! Fiona is very nice and let us use her kitchen and all the stuff there, makes us feel very comfortable. Because local food doesn't agree with us, so that's really important to us that landlord don't mind us using their kitchen to cook food. Paul is the most amazing man we've met in the UK. Not only because he kindly showed us his back yard and all his lovely flowers, delicious fruits and cute hens, but a unique charm about him. In him, one finds a rare harmony between Western and Eastern ways of balanced living. By the way, the room was very spacious, clean and private, I would definitively choose to live again when back here. Wish my landlords all the best!

Leigh's home is lovely, clean and quiet. The place is spotless and the room stayed in was so comfortable with an ensuite bathroom also. The room is spacious with a TV also, with all amenities you would require for a stay. Leigh was a great host, and was kind enough to offer me to stay beyond checkout time also which was so helpful. Would highly recommend Leigh's place for a long or short stay, I would happily return if needed again. Thank you for a great stay!

Where do I start? This place was incredible and exactly as advertised. Rachael is a very responsive host and easy to communicate with. The bathroom was modern, clean and had a decent shower. My room was provided with a towel and even a little sweet upon arrival. The little thoughtful features didn’t stop there. In the morning there was toast and cereal to have as well as hot drinks. The best part was that the table was cutely set with bowls, plates, cups and cutlery for us all to sit and have breakfast together. Unfortunately, I was off out earlier than everyone else but it was the thought that counted. I attended many events at Sherwood Forrest and I will 100% be back. Peter
