The Old Dairy

JanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our five nights at the Old Diary. Catherine was a great host, friendly, helpful, flexible and responsive. The property was easy to find, had an excellent , safe, off road parking space and instructions as to how to let ourselves in were very clear. The property was absolutely spotless , comfortable and very well equipped with good quality furnishings and kitchen equipment, dishwasher, washer dryer etc. The Old Dairy is located in a lovely quiet spot and . It was perfectly positioned for us to get to Donington Park easily as well. Catherine very kindly let us check out late after a busy weekend racing which was hugely appreciated. We are so glad we have found this excellent Airbnb and look forward to staying there again.

Riverside Bridge Barn - Swarkestone, Derby

We really enjoyed our couple of days at Bill and Sally’s. We received a warm welcome from Bill, and appreciated the milk and biscuits. The barn was perfect for exploring the nearby area. Melbourne was especially beautiful. The pub is literally across the road, with friendly staff. Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful village of Ticknall, with easy travel to Swadlincote and Nottingham while we were there as well as making the most of local amenities like Calke Abbey and Conkers for the kids and the Lime Pits and Hartshorn Wood for the dog. Would happily stay here again.

Countryside gem!

JaneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I've stayed in a lot of fantastic places hosted by wonderfully nice hosts. Becky's place ranks in the top 5 easily. The village location is peaceful. Parking is brilliant. The house is awesome, especially when it's nice and sunny and you can whip open and latch the back french doors and enjoy the fresh air. The beds are comfy. The bathrooms are tidy. The kitchen well stocked for anything you can think of cooking. The living and dining areas are spacious and can accommodate multiple people. Becky is very friendly and available if you have any questions. Also there's some tidy pubs within walking distance...I recommend the Bulls Head and the stilton chicken. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.
