Gateway to Glaslough

My stay at Úna's house was wonderful. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything I needed to make it feel like home. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The natural landscape is fresh and tranquil with adorable neighbor cows, yet only a few minutes away from town. Úna was a very nice host and I would happily return and recommend to other travelers. PS: I you love duck, the Silver Hill Farm shop is a few minutes away. They raise the best ducks on the planet. Bon appétit!

The Priory Chalets, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone Glamping

Loved our stay in Austin's chalet. The place was really easy to find and I could park right at the door. Area is so quiet with barely even any traffic noise so we were able to properly relax and unwind! The apartment is just a 5 mins walk away from beautiful picturesque nature walks around the priory and the river. So much local history as well making it a very interesting place to stay with lots to do nearby. Shop and pub just across the street so we had access to everything that we needed and the locals are so friendly as well. The apartment was clean, compact and decorated in a very pleasant way with blankets and pillows making it feel nice and homely. The courtyard has gates which we could close to let our dogs run about which was fantastic having that peace of mind! Had issues with a neighbour being noisy early one morning but it was our last day so nothing the host could have done about it anyway. WiFi and heating working perfectly for us. Can't wait to come back!

Our stay here was head and shoulders above any place we have stayed in before. The hosts were genuine in their welcome. The place spotless and had all we needed. It is truly hard to fault. Incredibly good value compared to other places in the area

The barn loft Dyan mill

ColinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay in the barn loft at Dyan Mill. The accommodation was beautiful. It was clean and had everything you need. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was fully equipped - not that we used it as there was a fantastic restaurant 10 steps from your front door! The animal zoo was a bit hit with our 8 year old and the staff were knowledgeable and really friendly. We paid the entrance fee at the start of our stay and we had free access in and out to see the animals all weekend- great value! The on site restaurant, the Hungry Goat, had a good menu, plenty of choice and again, fantastic staff! We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was great both times. There's also a cafe on site with great hot chocolate and ice cream. The barn is also obly 15 mins from Armagh City where there's plenty to do to keep little ones entertained. We'll definitely be back to stay, it's one of the nicest and friendliest places we've stayed in a long time.

Fred and Marli were gracious hosts. Minnie’s Cottage was spacious and comfortable. Great recommendations for nearby cafe and food. Definitely on my ‘return to’ list. Digby’s Restaurant in Killylea was a gem - good food and friendly staff.
