This place in Cahuita was very comfortable and has everything you need. Ulik's always answered our questions and was super helpful. Close to national parks and the beach.

Apartment was clean and matched the photos. The location is quiet and the beach is easy to reach. Communication was good and easy. If you want to cook yourself, the kitchen could be better equipped (e.g. additional pot or pan).

Great accomandation for digital nomads! The wifi is really good. The area is super quiet and chill & has plenty full of wildlife. You have everything you need nearby. I would recommend renting a bike for an extra smooth experience but you can also easily get around on foot. 10/10 would recommend! :)

Nice house away from town and right next to the beach, perfect for having a peaceful weekend.

The place is lovely and very lovingly furnished. It is located in the countryside with great views of nature. We could watch the sloths and monkeys from the terrace. It is quiet, safe and all destinations in Puerto Viejo are easily accessible. The apartment is well laid out, very clean and it has everything you need. If you have any questions, there is also a very nice contact person on site. Highlight of the apartment is the beautiful terrace and the practical kitchen. We felt very comfortable all around, it was like coming home. We highly recommend the place for a nice stay in Puerto Viejo and will definitely be back. Thanks for the nice week!

This was my second time staying here. Easy to find, close to everything, and the restaurant is absolutely delicious! A little pricey but 100% worth every penny plus she offers a 10% discount for guests. I would come back just for the food. The pasta is amazing. If you get off the bus from San Jose this is the perfect place to stay being that it is only a few minutes walk away from the bus stop. The beds are comfortable and the only downside would be it’s a little noisy being so close to everything but it did not bother me at all. I would definitely stay here again!

Second year in a row staying in Anielkas place and don’t regret it. The place is fully equipped, close to playa negra beach and lots of walkable restaurants in the center of Puerto Viejo. The place is clean and safe.

We loved our time here. Jessica, mile and Maia are all fun, lovely and helpful. The space is clean, cozy, and accommodating with modern flares including a projector and screen if you’ve worn your self out in nature and just want to veg out. The hosts had great recommendations on things to do in the area and the location is perfect for relaxing or a short drive to a busier atmosphere. Mike runs a tour service too so you can easily book directly with him while there. When we head back to this area we will definitely stay here again! We feel we found friends, along with a perfect home away from home.

We booked Sarah's place for a week and had a great time staying there. Since we were travelling with a 1 year old toddler, it was important to us to have a safe space for our daughter to run around and explore - the huge garden with many palms, mango tree, cecropias, papaya and many more just provided what we were looking for. The beach was just across the road, so it was perfect to have a dip and come back. The waves were pretty strong, so it would have been perfect for surfing. Playa blanca (national park) was just a 15min walk or with the provided bikes a 4min drive + short walk. The food recommendations were great - the afro-costa-rican cuisine was something worth trying out. The kitchen had a lot of appliances, however the frying pans were deformed and unfortunately not non-stick. We appreciated the moka a lot. We enjoyed the time a lot and Cahuita is totally worth a longer visit!

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. We just returned from our stay at Casa Colibri and the entire week was magical! The pictures of the property don't do it justice. The house is spotless, especially considering it's in the middle of the jungle. The front patio and pool were perfect for our family. The outside space is so relaxing and beautiful - the sounds of the birds and howler monkeys were an extra touch. Andrea was very helpful with our requests. This is a very special place and we hope to return again. Highly recommend a stay here!

A very nice house in a very small garden with a myriad of animals: frogs of all kinds, agouti, multiple birds, morphos, monkeys, sloths, and even a small snake at night in the trees (non-venomous!!!!)!!! Close to Chiquita Beach, peaceful and beautiful!!! A nice service, simple and quiet.

Unique lodging experience. Highly recommend. Beautiful setting and convenient to beaches, nearby parks/reserves, and excursions, and Puerto Viejo. Perfect for those that enjoy outdoor eating areas and lounging. Somewhat rustic. Place is very well decorated — quite an experience — sad to leave!

Pedro and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They were super friendly and replied promptly. They even helped us carry in our groceries which was above and beyond!! The house was beautiful and well maintained. Great experience!!

Me and my guests loved staying in this jungle oasis! Prior to arriving, Toni was very thorough about what the property was like and kept in contact with us from the moment we landed at the airport to the time we arrived at the gates of the property. He guided us along a beautiful jungle trail and gave us a detailed tour of the house. He followed up with suggestions about local restaurants and places to experience while in Puerto Viejo/Punta Uva. Toni was amazing up to the end of our trip where he met us at the front gates to wish us farewell. This house is surrounded by the jungle and its beautiful treasures. We saw a sloth on the first day from our balcony and as bird + animal lovers, we could not get enough of all of the sounds and sights. The howler monkeys were the most perfect alarm clock to rise to and watch the sunrise. We would be back in a heartbeat!

The place is incredible! We saw monkeys, a sloth, iguanas, agoutis, and macaws — this is my third time visiting Costa Rica and I had never been lucky enough to see so many animals in one place, all in their natural habitat. The beach is less than a 3-minute walk away. The people who manage the property are the kindest and always go out of their way to help. In my opinion, it's a beautiful place that gives you the full Caribbean experience.

This is an awesome place to stay, rest and/or work. It feels and is a peaceful and quiet place where you will enjoy your vacation, the pool is very familiar, you can see the ocean from the balcony, and it is a fact that you will see very relaxed iguanas taking the sun <3. Dalma was very friendly and responsive... I'd love to be back again!

We had an amazing vacation in this apartment very close to the beach. The location is simply perfect: a few steps from the sea, with quick access to restaurants, shops and everything you need to enjoy a few days of rest without worries. The apartment was spotless, very clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. In addition, it was equipped with all the necessary amenities to feel at home — from a well-equipped kitchen to a very comfortable bed and well-distributed spaces. The entire check-in and check-out process was very simple and communication was clear from the start. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax by the sea, and I would definitely stay here again on future visits. An excellent experience!
