We loved the property of this cabin. It was beautiful and well maintained. The river was one of my favorite spots to read or have my morning coffee. There were many perks and amenities to this place that weren't listed online, like hammocks, campfire pokers, blow-dryer, yard games, fire pit, folding chairs, plastic storage containers, etc. And I loved all the buffalo plaid decor all around. The signs and decor were really nice too, So much to look at. My family had plenty of room inside the cabin to sleep and have their own space. There was also lots of outdoor seating and space outside on the property to come together for dinner or games. Nina was very responsive and gave clear instructions for entering and leaving the property. She was polite and made our stay pleasant. We would stay at this property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

This place was exactly what we thought it would be. big cabin, lots of space inside and out. Definitely a place for larger families.

This is such a cute and cozy little cabin! There is a home nearby but with all of the trees it still is a very secluded and private stay. Just what we needed to relax and reset! Home is clean and all the little details and decorations seemed so thoughtful! There is so much to do even just at the cabin. From board games, corn hole, hot tub, or just hanging out around the fire pit or on the hammock, there is much to do between all the nearby adventures. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Cute and comfy cabin! Private and serene location in the woods. Hosts were very responsive and flexible. Rustic feel yet modern comforts. Very nice new bathroom and updated appliances. Nice fenced-in yard surrounded by nature. Very clean. Very minimal to zero cell phone service but nice to escape that.

We had such an incredible time staying in Roscommon at the Knotty Retreat. The location is perfect - very much a short peaceful walk to Higgins Lake. The cabin was amazingly cozy and had every amenity and detail you could imagine (even s’mores!). We had a wonderful time. A huge thank you to Carrie & Nicholas!

I recently stayed at this place with my family, and I have to say, we had a fantastic time! The area was super clean, which always makes a stay more enjoyable. We found everything we needed right there, so we didn’t have to scramble around for supplies or anything. The best part? Everything we needed for groceries was just a short 15-minute drive away or go to traverse city was a 45 minute drive! We were able to explore some beautiful outdoor spots, which was perfect for our kids. They absolutely loved it! Whether it was hiking or just playing outside, there was always something to keep them entertained. Overall, it was a great getaway for us. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a place that’s convenient and family-friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic cabin... Super clean, and had all the essentials. Location is really nice Atlanta (10 mins), Gaylord (15 mins), Alpena (1hr), we drove up to Mackinaw city 1 hr 15mins. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in a cabin in the woods.

If you're looking for a nice place within walking distance to downtown Bellaire, this is it. I would stay again in the future.

Perfect cabin in a secluded location with nice river access. Would stay here again. Erica was proactive with communication and very quick to respond! We had a nice early check-in that was really appreciated. Cabin EXCEEDED our expectations! Perfect for the four of us with plenty of room. Everything was spotless, kitchen was stocked with what we needed, awesome laundry room and cute decor. We felt right at home. Thank you for allowing us to use your exceptional AirBnb! Great place to stay if you’re wanting to be close to the water and get away from the city. However, not worth the price we paid. Although, it was a very busy weekend and that was all that was available for us. It’s a cozy cabin but no WiFi and you will have to clean up and strip the bed before leaving which is something I don’t particularly enjoy when I’m already overpaying for a place to stay. But if you happen to book it on a cheaper date and you’re looking for a getaway with close access to the lake, this is a good find. It was comfy but again, only complaint was the price.

Sara's place was literally immaculate and everything new. Kitchen was fully appointed, even got to use an air fryer for the first time! We really enjoyed the fire pit with 8 chairs as well as the super comfy beds and linens. There were adequate essentials like TP, paper towel, linens, towels, etc. We would love to return to this location in the summer. Also, great "circle drive" for towing a trailer, easy in/out.

Truly an exceptional stay. Top tier hosts that have gone above and beyond to make the stay feel like home. Incredibly clean, no bugs. A really nice little house. Property is beautifully maintained. So relaxing. Wildlife everywhere. We loved all the turtles. The only negative would be the goose poop all over the yard, but that’s just wild life being wild (I would just pack footwear accordingly) Overall, we are super happy with our stay and hope to be back! Thanks for everything!

A wonderful place!! Beautiful and peaceful! We had 8 people and it fit everyone comfortably! Plenty of space for kiddos to run around and play. Perfect for a weekend getaway, highly recommend!

Really enjoyed staying at Aric's place in the woods. Plenty of privacy. The back deck with a built in fireplace was a nice touch. We would stay there again.
