Bohemian Dreams at a Plant-filled Design Loft near the Beach

The loft was here before we moved in. It is one of the oldest buildings in Poblenou. The apartment was transformed into a big open space that includes a kitchen, a dining area, a sofa, a TV, an office space, and the bedroom. The place is in the ground floor, so it is accessible by disabled people and family with a child. We enjoy the afternoon sun and the mornings. We have sun shining into the entrance and the terrace. We've kept a lot of the industrial fittings in the space, and a lot of the furniture we've implemented follows this industrial design. One should not forget that it used to be an industrial space until earlier this year, and it's not a conventional apartment. It's one big open space, and the guest room is separated. Guests will have full access to the apartment. The accommodation includes a big open kitchen, dining area, sofa and TV area, bathroom, bedroom, terrace and plenty of space. We are usually available and love to interact with our guests. However, there are moments in which we are not available to our guests because we have our own plans. We also respect the fact that you may have plans, and don't have time to interact with us. However, we would like to enjoy a meal together at least, either a brunch or an evening snack. Our neighborhood is a vibrant, and up and coming area of Barcelona, it's a maximum 5 minutes walk to the beach, and the yellow Metro line crosses just straight outside the apartment. You need to remember the Selva de Mar stop. Around the block, there are some small restaurants and bars, there is a big supermarket called Mercadona for late night snack shopping (until 9:15 pm) or in Diagonal shopping center (until 10:00 pm). Or if you need to buy red wine for dinner. If you walk another two blocks to the South you'll find the Rambla del Poblenou, that is a pedestrian street and has numerous bars and restaurants of different quality. The Rambla Poblenou is straight all the way from Diagonal to the beach. If you like to eat tapas we can recommend you a restaurant that it is called La Tertulia in La Rambla del Poblenou or the another option is Bitacoras Restaurant near to the Rambla. If you like to eat Mexican food, “Los chilis” in La Rambla del Poblenou is a very good choice. But if you´re vegan or vegetarian, there is a vegan restaurant in front of the apartment, inside the Factory/Garden (Palo Alto) which opens Monday to Saturday. The last recommendation is “El Traspaso” which is in the corner and it is good option for the night:) You can end the night with a good cocktail and a Bloody Mary. The metro yellow line runs opposite to the beach, 5 minutes walk distance and the metro station you should look for is Selva de Mar. One thing to remember is that we are having our business registered in the space, we are freelancers, and work from home, but if someone asks, you are simply friends visiting us. Poblenou is a vibrant, up-and-coming area, with small cafes, art studios, and a pedestrian street with many restaurants and bars. The beach is just five minutes' walk away, and the yellow Metro line crosses right outside the apartment.

Totally independent apartment located on the ground floor of the house. On the upper floor live the owners but each enjoys its own entrance. Guests have private access and a private terrace. The accommodation is equipped with a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The only common areas are the swimming pool, barbecue and the garden. However, the owners, very discreet, leave the access to the swimming pool in priority to the hosts. A fully equipped accommodation, ideal for family holidays in a quiet environment between sea and mountains, very close to Barcelona.The property has a large, beautifully planted garden with swimming pool equipped with sun loungers and parasol. You will have a private terrace full of beautiful bougainvilleas to enjoy moments of relaxation, dine and chat quietly over a drink. Access to the pool is direct from your terrace and can be closed by a gate for the safety of young children. Similarly, the stairway to the terrace can be closed by a grid. The living room is spacious and bright and is equipped with a large ceiling fan. The large master bedroom has a bathroom en suite with hydromassage shower, large closets, wardrobes and storage.The decoration is neat with especially beautiful paintings. The kitchen is fully equipped, as at home, to cook good meals in comfort. The house is located in Montcabrer district, the most popular of Cabrils for its flower-filled houses, its pine-lined streets, and close to all amenities. Everything is at your fingertips here including the traditional bakery Elias offering the best bread in the area and the tapas bar Espinaler very popular with locals where you can take "vermut", a typical aperitif of Barcelona accompanied by some tapas. You will be able to park your car easily in street, right in front of the house, in complete safety. The beaches of Cabrera and Vilassar are less than 5 minutes by car or bus whose stop is 400 m from the house. Barcelona and Sagrada Familia are only 30 minutes away by car. You can also get to Barcelona very easily by train from Vilassar; A bus will take you to Renfe Station from the stop near the accommodation. Beautiful walks in the mountains of Cabrils will make you discover a panoramic view of the Maresme and Barcelona. A short hike from the house to Burriac Castle on the heights of Cabrils / Cabrera will offer you a breathtaking view of the hinterland and Mataro. You will be able to appreciate the numerous excellent restaurants around; Cabrils is also called "the little gastronomic oasis of the Maresme".And of course, you will enjoy the famous "chiringuitos", restaurants on the beach with a holiday atmosphere par excellence. Apartamento en frentre de la playa y en el centro del pueblo, ideal para dos personas para pasar unas bonitas vacaciones junto al mar. El apartamento esta preparado para cuatro personas. Tiene wifi gratuito. Esta a 1 minuto de la estación de tren. Tienes las tiendas, bares, etc a 5 minutos. El apartamento no tiene ascensor hay que subir escaleras 5piso con un tramo final de caracol, pero vale la pena poder disfrutar de las fantasticas vistas y de la playa.
