Monthly Rentals in Butterton

We have just returned from a week in Dalemore Cottage and could not have wished for more. The cottage itself is set in the most glorious location and the inside is just as good. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and beautifully furnished. Pru and Chris were the most welcoming of hosts and Pru’s home cooked meal service was excellent, I even asked for some of the recipes. If you are looking for a quiet spot, in a fabulous location with excellent hosts this is the place for you.

Goatfell Barn is a real treasure of an air bnb. The photos do not do it justice. Easy to find, easy to park. Sally and Martin were so friendly and welcoming and kindly allowed us to lock our bikes in their workshop. Lots of wonderful places to visit, lots of great walks within a short drive and plenty of pubs and restaurants also within a short drive. The barn was so homely, very clean, clear instructions for the tv, shower, oven etc. Very comfy bed and a great, powerful shower. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

We really enjoyed our stay! The stand out was the pool! The girls had such a great time in it. The surrounding area is beautiful, a good local pub for food and activities nearby (like the Wildlife Park & Thor's Cave). We were greeted by a home-made chocolate cake which was a kind touch too. We enjoyed our stay at Steppes Cottage very much. It is a beautiful cottage set in lovely surroundings, wonderfully peaceful and clearly put together with great love and attention. The bed was very comfortable with luxury bedding. The shower was excellent, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, all of very good quality and with thoughtful touches throughout. The front garden is amazing, filled with beautiful plants. Communication with Jaz was very nice and easy. It was a lovely surprise to find fresh bread, butter, wine and chocolates on our arrival, which was much appreciated. We also loved having a charming pub just a two minute walk away. It is a truly beautiful part of England. We would definitely recommend Steppes Cottage and will certainly return.
