Family-friendly vacation rentals in Burnaby

I'm a woman traveling solo with her service dog, so I'm the kind of traveler who often has to stress and worry about finding accessible accommodations. I'm so lucky I found this spot, it's gorgeous, safe, and 100% walkable area. Her place was so amazing, I booked it again for another stay before I head out of Canada to my next spot in Spain. I'm simply blown away by this host's kindness and friendliness! I even asked them today if they were an angel in disguise. ;-)

Josh and Alison were such lovely hosts and we had lots of fun chatting with them! They were very responsive and helped us out with any small requests we had. They have a lovely dog and the place is very nice and has everything you need. They set up the hot tub for us which was a great ending to a long hike! Great location with easy access to Vancouver downtown.

We didn’t want to leave the serenity of this beautiful walk out rental with many fabulous amenities. The hosts are very sweet, thoughtful, and kind people. We loved the area with so much to do or not as we basked in the sun with our ocean views. We had wonderful family visits with our sons on the patio. Highly recommended!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful trip here. It was a great location that was interconnected with biking or public transport options, important in Vancouver. The place was well maintained and was a great-priced, fun stay.

Our family had a great stay and will definitely be back to visit again soon! The condo was exactly as pictured- very clean, stocked with everything we needed, and lots of space for everyone. It’s in a great location across the street from the beach and within walking distance to food and yummy bakeries/ice cream. The kids especially loved the pool! Fred was a great host and answered all of my questions quickly!

The room is MUCH bigger than I expected. This is essentially a hotel that you check into. But the room was nice, big, and the kitchen is fully stocked with nice cooking equipment. You will need to pack spaces, cooking oil, and foil/Saran wrap.

Anna was really amazing. So responsive to all our 10000 questions. The house was in great condition. She had all the amenities in the suite. The hot tub was the best part. It was quiet and peaceful. The suite was so cozy. Loved the backyard. Would totally recommend staying here.

Had a great stay! The space was beautifully designed, super comfortable and in a great location. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully put together, making it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were accommodating and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy spot in a great neighborhood.

Lindas place was great for all 6 of us! A lot of mirrors which was great for all us girls getting ready in the morning. We had no issue with only one bathroom, especially because it was relatively large. We loved how spacious it was. It was also so close to so many things, would definitely stay here again!

We’ve been home for 2 weeks and I’m still thinking back to our stay at Wildwood. The perfect balance of off the grid but not sleeping in the dirt. Cabin was pristine, perfectly outfitted for 2 people. Reg kindly delivered fresh ground coffee when we went through our supply after a cozy, rainy morning in. Airbnb’s that are dog friendly can tend to be a little lax on the cleaning, this was not the case here. Super clean and fresh. In two nights we enjoyed the wood burning sauna, fire pit, and beach nearby plus great local food. Long story short - book it. Trust me. You need it.

Maria and Danny know how to give a personal touch to their en-suite flat. We enjoyed stayjng there and with public transport one is half an hour away from Vancouver downtown.

We are a Senior couple having rented homes and apartments in South Africa, USA, Bermuda, Australia, etc. Tabitha is more than a super host, she is an extraordinary host. She was in England when we arrived but no resulting problem. She left us with extensive notes and many emails guiding us flawlessly thru where everything was and how to use, with special instructions. She continued to e-mails us from London England, notwithstanding the time zone difference of 8 hrs! She had encountered a problem with the City Building Dept on her rental suite which is well furnished and comfy with a fire place full kitchen, and gave us the full use of her well furnished decorated home instead. The view of the ocean from her spacious deck was relaxing when the sun shined The location of her home and rental suite is located in West Vancouver, a premier residential area with a short drive to local shopping, a large enclosed mall shopping centre, and an excellent walkway along the ocean front.

Tanya was very responsive and we really loved her apartment, the decor was really cool and it had everything you need. The neighbourhood was a little sketchy, but that’s a Vancouver issue.. Sad to see! But the building itself felt very safe and homely; we felt we were in an episode of friends 🥹

We needed somewhere to stay while doing home renovations. Katherine’s place was perfect. Fresh, clean and new, nicely decorated with modern yet comfortable furnishings, great location close to park/trails, and very responsive to messages. We had no issues and a great stay - definitely recommend to anyone considering beautiful North Vancouver.

we had stayed in the same building last year in our first trip to Vancouver and found the location to be pretty ideal. There is a SkyTrain station that literally within steps, it is across the cul-de-sac from one of the best Asian markets I've ever been to (T&T Supermarket) and the building has included parking as well as a very nice pool and gym included with the stay. The only downside is absolutely no fault of the host at all, but there are a lot of homeless and fentanyl addicts milling about just outside in the plaza. I feel bad for them more than anything, and they were not threatening or bothering anyone, a couple were even quite nice, it's just sad to see.

Cory is a wonderful host. His place and his hospitality were among the best we’ve encountered in Vancouver. Instructions were very clear for checkin making the experience easy. Cory was so generous with his space allowing us to feel very much at home. We’d love to return to stay at Cory’s listing in the future!

Lesley and Adam’s place was fabulous! The view!!! Wow! They paid attention to every detail, had all the necessary amenities, and the apartment was immaculate! I really appreciated their immediate responses to any question before and during our stay. They were also very kind and allowed an early check in and a late check out based on our itinerary! There is a grocery store right across the street and the subway station was steps away. Also a 5 minute cab ride to Canada Place with luggage…walkable if you do not have luggage! Make sure and book a reservation at the revolving restaurant!! One of my best stays. Do not hesitate to book!

the condo is very clean, well kept, great details and in a very good location. what I did not like was the noise level. although its the 28th floor but the street and metro noise is surprisingly high for such a high floor. I would still go back again to this place as the overall stay was good. also the 3rd br is good for 1 person that is very easy going as it has no windows, no ventilation and no space to walk around. again everything was exactly like the photos so no surprises other than the noise level.

Great location! Reasonable price for Vancouver. Everything was easily walkable. The pool was nice and warm. The hot tub was lovely, but a little too warm! Nice big suite - probably twice the size of most downtown Van hotels.
