Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Burke Mountain

We were lucky to stay at Shannon’s Home so we could attend a family wedding in the area. Home was clean, spacious, and decorated beautifully. My family and I chose to buy our own groceries and cooked versus going out to the restaurants. We really loved that stove haha :) We honestly felt right at home and had the most loveliest time. Would definitely book with her again in the future.

We had a fantastic stay—this home was exactly what we were looking for. The backyard fire pit was gorgeous, and we loved the game rooms with board games, darts, and a pool table. The kitchen was fully stocked and spacious, and the speaker system throughout the downstairs and outside was a huge bonus. The only issue was unexpected messages from the host after a complaint came in from the attached (and unpictured) real estate office. It’s briefly mentioned in the listing but easy to overlook. The music wasn’t loud—we were talking at normal volume, with people napping upstairs—and it had been off for over an hour when the calls came in. The urgency felt a little off and caught us by surprise. Still, we’re giving it 5 stars. It’s a beautiful, well-equipped place in a great location—perfect for big groups who want to enjoy time together with plenty of space and privacy.

Karen was incredibly nice and very clear on check-in and check-out instructions. plow driver was there first thing every morning cleaning the driveway and the house is very cozy. We hope to come back at a warmer time and enjoy everything the place has to offer! Thank you to Karen for sharing her home and being a great guest!

Walter was an excellent host. The house location is amazing and on such a beautiful piece of property. Access to hiking trails, proximity to town and spectacular views made our stay very enjoyable this winter. We will definitely look to return next year! What a great area of VT.

Really nice place. The fireplace not working was a bit of a bummer but everything else was excellent. Great location, great view, close to everything, and multiple floors was great to have with kids.

We loved our time spent at the Glass House. Beautiful location and easy access to all that area has to offer. The hosts were generous and very responsive. We will be back!

A wonderful stay! Close to several beautiful hikes and quietly tucked away within Franconia Notch State Park. Great amenities as well as clearly described responses and instructions from Jenna. Would definitely stay again!

I decided to rent this particular property on a weekend excursion to the White Mountains. The property was beautiful, and incredibly clean. Rob and Sean were very quick to send instructions on how to get in, local places to try, and let me know that they would be available if they were any issues. I am happy to say there were no issues. The only downside of the trip was quite a few of the local businesses were closing or closed already because it was end of ski season. That meant I had to drive a little extra to get my ice cream fixed. Other than that, it was a lovely trip.

Peaceful private space in a lovely part of central Vermont, close to Montpelier.

Ken and Donna are fantastic host. The condo is clean, spacious, and exactly as described. Only steps from Bretton Woods and a short drive from the Mt. Washington hotel there is plenty to do. Ken was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for several weeks during the winter and had a great time. Florence and the property manager were both friendly and responsive to our questions. The house is well stocked, very comfortable and plenty warm even on very cold days. The view is spectacular! The house is situated such that we got to see the winter sunrise and sunset every day over the mountains! The dirt road is well maintained by the town in the winter though I would caution anyone visiting during mud season that the ruts can be quite impressive. Overall it was a great experience and we'd love to return!

Dan was a great host. Communicated well, was very responsive…we have stayed at Jay many times over the years and appreciated that the house was stocked, we had everything we needed for our stay…just like it was our place. Sounds simple but usually we’re running to get the little things and it was nice to just be able to relax and know they were there. Thanks Dan, we will be back!! Oh and the 300+ inches of snow was kinda cool too!

I am very appreciative of the opportunity to stay at the Maple Lodge. It’s a lovely house with just the right amount of room. Joe and Flo are very friendly and responsive. It’s clean and in good repair. It’s a safe setting for kids with games and puzzles. It’s set up for comfort and easy conversation. They even have their own maple syrup and jelly for sale. I felt at home there. Julie

An absolute slice of heaven! The compound had epic views, immaculately cozy cabin vibes, and was the perfect retreat for us city weary souls. We loved waking up with the mountains greeting us outside our window, the solid kitchen gear, DIY campfire, and much mucb more. The various light touch comforts (pour over coffee, available bluetooth speaker, sleep masks by the bed) all point to Siobhan and Bill as experienced hosts. Thanks again for the memories, and we'll see you this ski season ⛷️🤍

We booked this stay as a last resort because the two other locations we were looking at were already booked for the weekend. I was BLOWN away at how beautiful this property was, and how accommodating and genuinely welcoming the managers were. We got a ton of snow and they were working at all hours to make sure it was safe for my family and I. One of the guests in the cabin next to us got stuck in the snow with their car at around 6:00 pm our second day there after some snow accumulated on the trail to get to the cabins. I towed them to a safer location with my truck and Bill came out to thank me for helping the guests. While he was chatting with me I had asked if there was a way to extend our stay due to the inclement weather and they were able to extend our reservation and even offered me a discounted rate because of my help which was extremely kind. Bill and his wife made sure that we felt welcomed, and safe. We WILL be back, and next time I stay in NH this will be my FIRST option!!

A really nice alternative to a hotel setting. The cottage is private and great views of Jay Peak. Would stay again for sure.
