Countryside Retreat. Great View. Private Garden

Susanhj_1@Hotmail.ComRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We (three friends) loved the Barn at Oxley ! It is stylish, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Daisy is the perfect host....her homemade fruit loaf was delicious and just what was needed with a cup of tea after a long journey. We would love to return and further explore this beautiful, peaceful area of middle England. As you can tell, we were very impressed!! Well done, Daisy!

Lovely hut for a couples getaway. Nice and clean with everything you need. Good location not far from Gloucester or the Forest of Dean depending on the holiday you want. Adele’s communication was great, very responsive with clear instructions.

"Country views" loft conversion Redmarley D'Abitot

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely relaxing rural escape with gorgeous views and sheep for neighbours. Very well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, powerful shower, blackout blinds and extensive welcome guide. The loft is finished to a high standard with underfloor heating. Lots of little handy extras that were appreciated. Jackie was very accommodating of my requests, welcoming, responsive to messages and respectful of privacy. I'd love to return in warmer weather to enjoy the balcony and explore more of the local area

Our stay was incredible. It was quiet, peaceful with beautiful views from the treehouse. The kitchen was so well equipped which made cooking meals so much fun! We also got so many recommendations on what to do around the area and every single place we stopped by did not disappoint. Everything was extremely neat and clean, and we loved the way the space was decorated. Overall a 10/10 experience, would definitely be back!!

Broughtons Cottage Forest of Dean Gloucestershire

JordanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazing time staying at Jo and Simons Cottage. The cottage itself was super clean and comfortable, suited the vibe of our weekend away to a tee! The cottage gardens were beautiful and made the perfect backdrop for our friends to get engaged! To which Jo and Simon gave a card and some freshly picked flowers to our friends which was so nice and very much appreciated Jo provided many recommendations for local food and drink and was very responsive when we were messgaing, and the brownies on arrival were divine. All in all we had a super time at the Broughtons and hope to return soon

Ashleworth Manor Guest wing

DennisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A beautiful and unique property that I highly recommend if you are into historic buildings and love being close to beautiful nature. The medieval house has a ton of charm, including a lovely garden that you will have all for yourself. If you are not comfortable with uneven floors and climbing stairs this is not for you, otherwise you will likely love this place as much as we did. The pictures describe the interior well and the owners (who live in a separate part of the large building) are friendly and were very helpful and easy to deal with. We even received some local food from them when we arrived which was a nice gesture. The property suffered from a flood earlier in the year and there are some restauration works ongoing, mostly on the part of the property occupied by the owners. This will therefore not impact you much during your stay. Certainly not a reason to be worried about.
