Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bulaq

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

My family and I had a great time staying at Ahmed’s place. The place was spacious and very comfortable and has a great view. It is very close to some wonderful restuarants which are all about 5 - 10 walk away. Ahmed was a great host and very prompt in responding to any questions I had. Definately worth the money. One point to raise and this is beyond Ahmed's control they closed the walk way along the Nile. Appears they doing some work so you could not use the walk way right next to the Nile. This did not destract from the great time we had. Would recommend this place.

It was a beautiful experience being with at the place . I was very understanding and the place was full of life and positivity. The staff was very cooperative and wonderful.

Wonderful stay tucked back from the gate with plants all around. Our flight arrived late on New Year's Eve. Karim was a very gracious host who stayed up past midnight on new year's to welcome us.

The best apartment in Cairo, the area is busy but has a lot of life, many shops nearby, food, perfumes, stores, etc. The service from the host was outstanding, he was always available and had a lot of flexibility. Access may seem chaotic but it is totally normal in Cairo, the people in the building are friendly and respectful, the apartment is new, modern and comfortable. Totally recommended.

The apartment is great. Large. Airy. Beautiful Nile View. Clean. location is perfect. I faced problems finding the apartment though. The location that appeared in AirBnB website was wrong. I have given the feedback - hope they will rectify the location soon. It took 15 - 20 minutes of frenzy and calls but then we could enter the apartment very easily. There were 2 lifts. large stairway. accessing the first floor even for senior citizens were very easy. Clean new building and apartment with security posted in the ground floor. Very helpful person. Anyone would love the rooms. Beds were comfy, Wardrobes were huge, ample plug points, functional kitchen, huge bathrooms with shower cubicles. No negative feedback whatsoever. We enjoyed every moment and slept like babies. There were a lot of complimentary staff - water, tea bags. Thanks for all of it. After the tiring flight, these were welcome respite. Nearest store/restaurant is walkable and 500 MTRS away.

Farida and her brother Ahmed who welcomed us here were very friendly and nice. Farida was always replying when we had a problem or questions and she was always more than willing to help. They are both excellent hostess and host! The apartment is located in a safe neighborhood at the city center. We could go everywhere on foot but there's also a metro station nearby. The place was clean and tidy! If you wanna stay in old Cairo, we highly recommend Farida's place! We had an amazing experience here! ☺

The place is breathtaking. The pictures do not do it justice at all. The views are extraordinary, and follow you everywhere you go, from the spacious bedroom and convenient kitchen to the magnificent living room. I cannot recommend his place highly enough. Michael himself is charming, helpful, friendly, and speaks excellent English. A quite superb experience.

The accommodation was cozy and Suzan was very helpful. The place is in the center and everything was close. The apartment is located in a side alley, so it was quiet and we are very grateful. Very fast internet. We are happy and thank you Suzan for everything.

This is our third stay in this beautiful apartment - once before last year and then at the beginning and end of a sightseeing road trip from Cairo to Luxor to Hurghada and back to Cairo. It is such a beautiful apartment, with an amazing roof terrace. Yasser is always super helpful and it really does feel like a home away from home for us now. Honestly, the location is very excellent and safe, the apartment is clean, the furniture is clean, and the host's treatment was very wonderful and in the best taste. I recommend the place, especially for families who love privacy and tranquility. There are all services under the building, and there is a very wonderful 24-hour café where you can spend the best nights.

Hoda was an amazing host! She was extremely kind, responsive, and made our stay in Cairo so much easier with her excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants. The flat is in a fantastic location, on a safe and quiet street, and it was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home. This must have been one of the most beautiful AirBnBs I've ever stayed in. High ceilings, well curated decor, quality furnishings in an apartment sited in a charming building with famous past residents of Egypt high society. We stayed 1 week as a family and had lots of space to navigate, and discover many unique art pieces and details in the space. Garden City was lovely for walking around and a central point for exploring both Cairo and Giza. The neighbourhood was very busy with lots of honking heard throughout the day, but truly this is hard to avoid in Cairo. Plus there was a neat noise machine in the room for those who may need -- a lovely touch! Only frustration was the hot water in the shower, as it was gas-powered and quite tricky maintaining a consistently warm shower. Nevertheless, Charlene was very helpful in trouble-shooting and following up on our comfort levels. Overall, I very much appreciated the thoughtful details and soft place to rest in Cairo.
