Beautiful spacious apartment on the top floor. Great parking next to the building. 5 minute walk to the beach, shops, pubs, restaurants etc… Alnmouth is a very pretty town right on the sea. Will definitely be staying again!!!

Absolutely wonderful stay, couldn't recommend more as a place for first family holiday with a toddler and baby, cosy accommodation, Julie very kindly provided a travel cot for my toddler, wonderful facilities, we will be back!

Had a brilliant time at Jon’s place. It is truly beautiful and immediately comfortable too - we settled in very quickly and slept so well in the enormous beds! Jon is a friendly and welcoming host, and was super-helpful with local recommendations and travel tips. Great area, plenty of history and some interesting little shops and eateries. We travelled by train - an easy 10-15 minute walk either through the town or along by the river. Wonderful base if you’re exploring the Northumberland coast or heading into south east Scotland. We did both, and hope to return! Definitely recommended.

Exquisite interior design that really added to the stay; hot tub was an absolute delight at the end of each day; location superb; enjoyed sitting at the rock pools watching dolphins - a true blessing; local amenities perfect; loved the proximity to the sea which meant I could have safe evening walks admiring the sunset and enjoying the peaceful sea views at night. Highly recommend. Thank you also Jen for the delicious scones, jam and cream!

The property is spacious, but still cosy. It's best feature has to be it's location - situated literally on the coastal path, with great views and just a short walk to a fabulous, huge empty sandy beach. The walk along the beach to Warkworth, with it's castle, bridge and pubs/restaurants is a must.

From initial enquiry to check out, Martin and Maria were easy to communicate with, friendly and professional. The bungalow is beautifully situated, with plenty of parking. On entering, it was spotlessly clean with every facility we could have wished for and was even bigger and better than the photos. Great sea views from the conservatory and lounge and an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. The huge lounge was lovely and when the evening turned chilly, the efficient heating soon warmed us. Beds and bedding were comfortable and loads of hot water for great showers. Well equipped kitchen and very handy to have huge fridge and freezer. We found that it was easy to get to all the places on our ‘to do’ list - Puffin/seal watching boat trip, Barter Books, endless fabulous beaches, great pubs, lovely walks. Would definitely recommend this lovely place and thank Martin and Maria for their hospitality. Would not hesitate to book again if we are lucky enough to return.

The Snug was lovely, very clean and well equipped. The site was quiet and clean and very near the beach. Tom went out of his way to make us feel welcome, including a lovely welcome gift

This Airbnb is in a fantastic location with wonderful views. It is also very comfortable and well equipped. Elizabeth is an outstanding and generous host. One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in and we hope to return here in the near future

Booked a little break at Linda's caravan on Airbnb. Kids absolutely loved the caravan. Linda was very responsive and helpful when needed. The weekend went far too quickly. Will 100% book again and would recommend to anyone.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Absolutely gorgeous caravan . The lock box for the key isn't the easiest place to access if you have trouble bending or if the ground is wet This caravan is beautiful, fantastic location, parking space and its at the quieter end of the park. I would highly recommend anyone to book with Christopher, he is a fantastic host and I would definitely stay again. Thanks Christopher

Myself, Mum and 5 year old son just stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely break! David is a responsive and thoughtful host, replying quickly, arranging for the heating to be on for arrival and even leaving lovely treats for us to enjoy! The place is absolutely spotless, super clean and well organised, it has everything you'd need for a short stay. Would definitely recommend! We ventured to Cresswell Beach and White House Farm in Morpeth which is a must if you have little ones. Lovely memories made... as well as some sand castles!

Second stay at this beautiful caravan that once again did not disappoint. Lovely, comfortable, homely caravan in the most peaceful spot on a great site. We can not get enough of the amazing views of the sea, right outside the caravan. Sitting out on the balcony is one of our most favourite things to do here, with also the quick walk to the beach to paddle in the sea and make sandcastles with the children. Our children absolutely loved staying here again withe plenty to do on the site and wonderful surrounding places to visit. Lots of lovely personal touches in the caravan that make it feel very welcoming. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fab little stay in a lovely little caravan, kids and dogs had a blast. Caravan is a bit run down as described but still clean and we had a lovely time. Everything was so easy and we even got a late check out which we really appreciated. Thanks Malcolm

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. Also loved the tie sofa! The centre of Seahouses and the coastal path were in very easy reach.

We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

The apartment was perfect in size and location for the things we wanted to see in and around South Shields. The coastline is beautiful, walk to Marsden Grotto along the coast took about 1 1/2 hrs with amazing birdlife (bus back) Foot ferry over to North Shields, bus and Metro ticket good, St Mary’s Lighthouse a must , check tide times. Tyne Mouth a special place with Priory and spectacular views .Roman Fort next to the Apartment a hidden gem and free. Sadly some of South Shields needs a Spruce up like so many places on our Coastline. Elaine is a lovely host.

Me and my two daughters had a lovely time in this beautiful cottage. Cozy, clean and comfy. Amazing bathroom! Beach just around the corner; bakery, pizza place, chippy & co-op on the doorstep. A great base to explore the gorgeous coast. Thanks so much Lorna - we will be back hopefully 🙏

Absolutely amazing apartment! Beautifully decorated - a masterpiece! Would highly recommend!

Our stay at the Crows nest was absolutely fine, the location being just by the sea front was great and our daughter absolutely loved it. I would say the pots and pans/ kitchen utensils need updating. There wasn’t much to work with and a lot of the utensils were blunt, chipped or cheap/flimsy which made cooking difficult as we did eat in some nights with having a small child. David was a great host and very helpful, he made sure a high chair and bed barrier was in place when we got that which was really lovely. The location was also fine, we would of liked more to do but we were able to go off for the day and have great days out to places near by. With the apartment being on the top floor there was a lot of activity with the seagulls, they like to be on the roofs making a lot of noise and were very loud overnight on the first night but we soon got used to them and that’s something no one can control. Thank for our stay, we enjoyed it!

we found the accommodation as per shown, the beach was a great thing to see each day and the whole of the area , the local town , plus the North East as a whole is very clean , it puts most of the UK to shame. The people were at all times very friendly.

Our second stay at Ben & Amy's place. Clean and comfortable accommodation, great location for walking to Blyth and Whitley Bay on the coastal path. Great pubs serving food, chip shop and the co op, bus stops, all within a short walk from the annex. Quiet street with easy parking right outside. Lovely walks from the door, down the beck and beyond, we walked miles. Had a lovely time we would highly recommend Ben & Amy's place. 5*
