Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Buckingham County

I absolutely adore this place! What a lovely overnight trip coming from Raleigh, NC and needing a couple days away. I checked in early around 2pm after spending the afternoon walking around Appomattox Court House national park (5-minute drive from BnB). Took a walk to the bookstore/cafe just a block away on Main St. for a coffee and treats to bring back to my room. Did some reading until my dinner reservation, walked downstairs and had the most delicious meal! Wine and dessert back in my room. So relaxing! To top it off, your stay includes an incredible breakfast and coffee. Highly recommend a stay here!

This place deserves 10 stars!! Everyone was amazing, and Chef Charlie's food was great. Talia was outstanding, and you will never forget her once you meet her! If you are 2nd guessing where you should stay... stop! This choice will not let you down!

We had a very pleasant stay at Maysville Manor. The room was comfy and absolutely beautiful. The kitchen and bathroom were super clean. We didn't get to meet our host Nancy. But she contacted me before our trip and arranged a lady to meet us at the house. Thank you Nancy for being flexible with our early check in. We were very pleased with everything there and would like to return if there is a chance in the future.

The Babcock House Inn was amazing and you will feel so comfortable and welcome here. My daughter and I stayed here for vacation and loved every second of it! We had a delicious dinner in the dining room that included homemade biscuits with apple butter. There’s seating outside on the screened lanai or inside. Breakfast is included with your stay and was phenomenal. Don’t forget to spend a few minutes relaxing on the front porch swing! I can’t wait to go back. This location is perfect if you are visiting The Appomattox Courthouse and High Bridge Trail.

Love this place, the rooms are so cozy and the service is superb. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Longacre made for a great weekend in Appomattox - our first visit to the area. The house is just as in the pics - a nearly 100 yr old brick tudor style with amazing character. The grounds are very cool. Over 3 acres, with many gardens, and several private patio areas, etc. The rooms are very spacious with lots of period/authentic furniture and furnishings. Our king four poster bed was super comfortable. The best part of the stay though was/is the incredible fun, friendly, helpful, very professional host - Dana who lives on-site. She's been in the hotel and B&B business for many years and knows exactly how to run a great ship. She's the host you wish you had every visit you've ever made at any Airbnb anywhere. We really enjoyed meeting the other interesting guests as well which made for fun and interesting breakfasts in the morning. Bottom line, 5 stars and two thumbs up!

This is a lovely place to stay - beautiful old home, lovely room, delicious breakfast. I would highly recommend this if you are coming to Appomattox.
