We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well equipped, making us feel right at home. The area and scenery were beautiful, making for the perfect relaxing stay.

We had a fantastic family holiday with our two children. the house has everything you will need and Marisa was very helpful during our stay. The kids loved the chickens and the hot tub! Great rural location close to lots of great sights Thanks for having us! x

We have just had a fantastic stay at The Lamp Post. We were absolutely blown away by the accommodation. Steve and Andrea have thought of absolutely everything. The whole place is luxury and pristine. The hot tub is so easy to use and definitely an extra added bonus to what is a beautiful place to stay. Thank you so much - we will definitely be returning!

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

I don't really want to say too much because part of the brilliance of Darla's is the constant surprises you find! Lots of "ooh" and "ahh" noises throughout our stay as the children and I found more treats and loveliness! The cottage is incredible. The outside areas are so well planned; totally enclosed for the dog and so private. I loved a glass of wine on the covered porch at the front, the children loved sitting out painting pebbles (that's a spoiler) in the back garden and we ALL loved the hot tub. The beds are so comfortable, the pillows amazing, so many towels and so so many extras. When Carol told us not to worry about bringing Toiletries and sauces etc, she meant it!! Freddie (the dog) soon learnt where the treat jar was and I forgot my toothbrush which was not a problem!! Most of all, we were grateful to have Carol and Bob and their daughter next door who gave us privacy but also made us welcome and treated us like royalty. A beautiful place to hideaway. We WILL be back!!

Lovely relaxing cottage with everything we needed. Very cosy and relaxing setting with great views from back windows. Enclosed garden for dog or children. Hot tub was a great perk which was well used by us. Rillington village within 10 min walk which had a small shop and a nice pub ( the fleece). Tips for other travellers The fleece in rillington has a nice garden of weather nice and the food was nice too and dog friendly Ham and cheese which is a 5 minute drive the food was very good and dog friendly too although probably too far to walk Lots of walks nearby, we went to dalby Forrest, mallyham spout in goathland and Levisham near Pickering New Connie’s Chinese in malton was also very good

We stayed at this property for 4days and enjoyed every minute ! It was in an amazing stay and from the off we felt right at home. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, entering the property it felt warm and welcoming. The kitchen and all rooms were spotless and all beds were comfy with everyone sleeping really well. The hot tub and pool were also clean and we enjoyed both on several occasions. Katie was very helpful on a couple of questions and pointers which felt like we were being looked after. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be booking this property very shortly for the summer!!! Wonderful stay highly recommended.*****

We booked rather last minute and Maria was very responsive and flexible. The place was pristine and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and the furnishings throughout are great! We felt very much at home! Maria was warm and welcoming and gave us good ideas for where to eat. We truly loved our stay!

It was an absolutely lovely cottage. Henny checked that everything was fine after the first night and if I needed anything to make my stay there better.

Spacious and comfortable cottage made for a great break with excellent walking from the doorstep and in a good position for touring in the area.

When we arrived at the accommodation we were a little anxious about what we would find behind the scruffy looking front door - however, the accommodation suited us perfectly, with a nice suprise or two, and the welcome from Dan and his team far than made up for the lack of paint on the front door!! We would definitely stay here again and can’t fault the food and Guinness at the pub next door (where Dan is chef). Only complaint would be that we didn’t experience a sunset evening, but you can’t have everything can you?!

Had a great stay at the bungalow. It was well equipped and the outside area was lovely to sit in and was secure for our Dog to go out in. Great location in a quiet beautiful area where you could sit and relax in the garden. We enjoyed the beautiful walks Rebecca had suggested by the river and in the woods. Also enjoyed visiting Beningbrough national trust which was round the corner. Rebecca made us very welcome with treats on our arrival for both us and Honey, she gave us very clear guidance on everything we needed to know and directions prior to our arrival. She also gave us great, clear information for Honey as well as recommendations for walks and dog friendly pubs/restaurants. We will definitely be returning for another visit in the future.

Skylark cottage is in a lovely spot, a perfect retreat from busy life and a really calming space inside and out. It was spotless, cosy and well equipped. The newly created wood was a joy to walk through and our dog loved it here too!

What a fantastic little cottage, perfect for a weekend away. Lovely hosts and perfect location for exploring Yorkshire, we would definitely recommend and hope to visit again sometime.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Communication with Paula was brilliant and we really appreciated her message asking how we were getting on during our stay. Everything we could have needed was provided. The cottage was so clean and comfortable and the outside area was beautiful. The location was lovely with great cycling routes nearby and we visited Mablethorpe Beach which was a short drive away. I cannot fault anything and would highly recommend staying here. We had a wonderful time and we will absolutely be visiting again!

Cosy, quirky and great location for RSPB Bempton Cliffs! Welcome goodies were unexpected, including milk and eggs. Would definitely use again.

Emma's place was simply gorgeous! We loved our stay and couldn't stop marvelling at the beautiful location. The cottage was pristine and comfortable and even bigger and more beautiful than the photos. The surroundings and the views from every window were amazing. Emma was a lovely host, helpful and flexible. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Booked this gorgeous cottage retreat for a girls weekend getaway and it was perfect! The cottage is furnished beautifully, we felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door, the cottage is spotless and has a tranquil feel, ideal for pure relaxation. Combining a spa day at the Ashka Spa was the perfect addition to our retreat and I highly recommend to anyone needing to put life on pause and take a moment to reset and refresh. The cottage is set in a beautiful, quiet village with a fantastic pub round the corner, a great coffee/bakery shop opposite and Ashka spa just across the road. The perfect getaway retreat!

Great stay at Chris & Amanda's place. We enjoyed our stay while visiting surroundings places and had a good sleep on cozy beds. We would highly recommend the place and definitely will return if we are around eastern coast again. Thank you for hosting us.

Sophia’s place was exactly as described and shown in pictures. Fantastic facilities in a spotless kitchen living area. The guest gift basket with breakfast goodies was a lovely touch. Both bedrooms have a big en suite with toilet, sink & shower. The beds were comfortable, fresh & clean. Safe & secure (gated entry) parking next to the building. There is also an outdoor seating area and private enclosed garden, which would be great in the sunny weather! The Airbnb felt very modern, it was spotlessly clean and easily accessible. We would definitely love to stay again!

The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need! Helena met us with the keys, she had also left us cake which was delicious. Helena was so helpful even before we arrived… she sent me numbers of local taxi firms and even offered to take us to Tesco in the next village. I also left some items behind and Helena offered to post them to me! The are is stunning and I can’t praise the. Cottage or Helena enough! We hope to return form a more rralacees time and get some walking in. Thank you for a great stay x

Wow. What a beautiful place to spend the Easter weekend. Sarah’s place is a home from home. It has everything you need to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the surrounding area. Milk, eggs (chocolate too!) were here when we arrived, a lovely touch. The house was sparkling clean and bigger than the photos show. The pub across the road is ideal for a drink and top notch pub grub. York is 30 minutes to the park and ride (definitely do this to save on expensive parking), but the beauty is the walks around the area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for being a great host!
