Jasmine Cottage, Cosy Private Rural Retreat

LisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a fabulous stay at Jasmine Cottage. It was just what we needed for a peaceful short break. Mel was really helpful and recommended some great places to eat, walk the dog etc. Cottage was clean, warm, loads of hot water, good shower and lovely comfy bed. Lovely little enclosed garden. Lots of wildlife to see on the doorstep. Fabulous walks from the cottage which eventually join the Angles Way. Welcome pack was appreciated. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Lovely countryside Cottage with private garden

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful time at Yem's cottage. The location os quiet and peaceful and only a short drive to a good pub and other amenities. The cottage really is beautiful and a home from home, packed with everything you'd need for your stay. The photos really don't do it justice! We loved having the garden; my daughter loved the space to run around and we enjoyed a few dog walks in the local area. Yem is a fantastic host who replied to messages politely and promptly, the bottle of birthday bubbles was a nice surprise on arrival. All in all our weekend was brilliant and we would absolutely stay again, thanks for having us.

Abbey Farm - 16th Century House - sleeps up to 10

SoniaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Abbey Farm is an absolute gem, we had the most wonderful week there feeling completely at home as soon as we walked through the door. The photos and listed amenities are an under statement - there is everything you could possibly want... and more! It is the perfect home for a family gathering or a luxurious romantic getaway. I am extremely critical and find fault with everything, much to my husband's dismay - but there is absolutely nothing to fault... except having to leave! The house and gardens are stunning and there are clear instructions on how to operate everything with the addition of folders with local information in case you feel the need to leave the property. I highly recommend Abbey Farm and would like to thank Angie for letting us stay in her beautiful home and giving us such wonderful memories of our time in Suffolk.

Thanks Sarah for a lovely stay. Beautiful house in a quiet friendly village. Thanks for all the recommendations and being on hand when I had questions. Great location for exploring even if it was difficult to drag ourselves away from the house. Thanks again

Annex next to a field

MicheleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The annex is a lovely place to stay, a beautiful home in lovely countryside. The facilities were lovely and clean and Carla was kind enough to supply us with tea, coffee and milk! Carla was very quick to respond to messages too. We had a great stay and will return hopefully sometime soon.

Annex in pretty village location - pets welcome

Fiona And OliverRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We felt right at home in the Annex and enjoyed lounging around on the cloud like sofas. It’s very spacious, especially downstairs, quiet and private. We like self catering and appreciated having a good kitchen and dining. Upstairs the beds are comfy and the bathroom is modern and sparkly clean. Thorndon is a lovely village, very Suffolk. We woke to wood pigeons and took walks along the quiet roads in the evenings. The Black Horse Inn is highly recommended, the food was very good, the landlord jovial, his staff lovely, the interior is all timber beams. We sat outside and had a delicious lunch. And it’s just round the corner! A five / ten minute walk. Thanks Sarah for your generous welcome, we’d definitely stay again!

The Granary - Suffolk Countryside Retreat

SandieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was our first stay on a month long road trip through the UK and this beautiful accommodation has certainly set a very high bar. The Granary is elegantly furnished, cosy and very comfortable, and Anne's attention to detail provided everything that is required for a relaxing holiday. The surrounding countryside is picturesque and peaceful but within striking distance to market towns and lovely pubs and restaurants. Anne's guide book was informative and knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area. We loved our stay at the Granary, would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the Suffolk countryside.

Wishing Well Cottage, Luxury Suffolk Stay

EmilyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay in Gislingham, in Alison's beautiful cottage. Alison met us for check in and showed us round, and she was very friendly and had lots of tips about things to do in the area. She's clearly taken a lot of time and effort to make the cottage a great place to stay; it felt very homey (in a spotless way!) and everything had been thought of. Our two girls loved the playroom and the garden, the bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked and everything was spotless! thank you Alison, we had a great time!
