Riverside Cottage was perfect for a restful week away before my operation. The scenery was stunning and the location so peaceful. The dogs were happy as they could could come and go as they pleased as the garden was so secure. Everything you need for a break away was supplied and the host was a message away if you had any queries. The hottub was an added bonus and was made the most of throughout the week!! A most enjoyable break, we will definitely be back

Such a lovely place. Sadly, I only had a couple of nights and one day to really enjoy it, but I immediately looked to re-book upon departing, and although the dates I looked at did not work, I will definitely return. Joe was really friendly and helpful. The house is lovely, well-designed and thought through with plenty of space. The weather was a bit damp, but otherwise we would have also thoroughly enjoyed the lovely garden with its seated areas and hot tub. Many thanks for a lovely break

We thoroughly recommend The Little Forge for a stay in the Cotswolds - it was so pretty, peaceful and the hot tub was a bonus! We stayed here for our mini moon after our wedding for a bit of rest and relaxation and got just that! Kelly gave us super clear instructions of where to park and how to get in - all really easy. The cottage itself is really pretty, has all the home comforts you could possibly need as well as being in walking distance to a great pub with delicious food and really good service. It was peaceful and relaxing - Kelly had thought of all amenities you might need during your stay - it felt like a home away from home. The cottage is a great base to explore lots of the Cotswolds - we enjoyed Stow-on-the-Wold, walk no. 4 in the "40 walks in the Cotswolds" book, Cowley Manor Experimental for an afternoon spa trip and The Feathered Nest. We loved our stay - would love to come again some time! Thank you!

We loved our stay here - quirky and unusual, but felt right at home! Gorgeous views. The hot tub was easy to set up with clear instructions, and enough logs to last us our stay. The natural pool was beautiful and had lovely newts and felt very calm. Check-in and out instructions were very clear, and we had all the facilities we needed.

This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Super friendly hosts - spent 5 days in the shepherds hut, it's perfect! They've thought of everything and never far away if you get stuck with anything. had a truly relaxing break, the bed is so comfy and we loved the fact there is plenty of areas in the garden too choose where to sit. We had the most wonderful stay the night before our wedding. Stephanie was having some renovation work completed on the property and upgraded us to her larger property which was so kind and such a treat for us all. The house was stunning and our guests felt the same. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Natalie’s barn. After a campervan trip in Devon we were looking for a relaxing stopover on the way back to North Yorkshire - and this place was perfect. We specifically wanted somewhere with a hot tub to relax in after walks, and the idea of staying on a smallholding with animals really appealed to us. The yard was fully enclosed, which made it ideal for our dog and he settled in straight away. We also really enjoyed visiting The Pit Kitchen (a quirky and unique spot) and The Chesington pub which are both dog-friendly and within walking distance (both recommended by Natalie). Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Natalie was a warm and responsive host, always quick to reply to messages. I’d definitely recommend this place to others!

We absolutely adored our stay here. The house was perfect - the size, amenities, and the beautiful sunroom. We spent hours in there playing games, reading, and simply enjoying the view of the beautiful roses and trees in the back yard. We had everything we needed, and it really felt like home - away from home. We would recommend it to friends and stay again in a heartbeat. This is a very special house.

Wow what a great place, owners quick to respond when we had an issue. The place is very high spec and so comfortable. Really hot weekend so great to have the bifold doors open. Lots of lovely countryside around us. Also a working farm nearby. We all had a fab weekend some great pubs nearby. Was the perfect place just to chill as well, the moorhens in the pond, butterfly’s so right next to nature. We will be back and highly recommend this property.

Absolutely beautiful stay in the Cotswolds. The house was absolutely stunning, as described and more than we expected. Loved the special little touches like the freshly made bread and biscuits. Beds were comfy. Just wish we had booked longer. Will definitely be back!!

Peglars barn was a truly beautiful place to stay. We visited for 2 days and it wasn’t long enough. The moment you walk through the doors the backdrop is jaw dropping and it doesn’t get old! I chose peglars barn as a place to propose to my now fiancé and it was perfect. Thank you Sophie for being a great host!

It’s a beautiful house with a character. It is as nice to read the history of the place . House has been maintained well. Great for families. Would definitely visit again probably for few more days next time .

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage- it’s beautiful, homely and well catered and stocked. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and really try to ensure you have a great time there. The surroundings are brilliant and really worked for our multigenerational weekend get away- there was something for everyone. We will definitely come back. We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Great stay with the family at Chris & Alexandra’s. Great cottage exactly as described and located in a lovely gated community. Comfortably housed 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We benefited from clear and detailed instructions both for finding the place and staying in it. The hosts responded promptly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend the place for family stays!

From the moment we arrived at Lower Mill Estates we were in awe of how picturesque and serene the property was. Everything about this listing was as advertised and more. The host Victoria was extremely responsive and helpful when I had questions leading up to our trip. I was able to reach out with questions during our trip as well, with a fast response. Oakleigh cottage is situated next to a giant willow tree with surrounding gardens, and has the quintessential Cotswolds feel to it. I let Victoria know we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Upon arrival to the cottage, we found the cottage filled with birthday decor and a special gift for her! We were so surprised! It was such a nice touch to our stay. Our family loved swimming in the pools, kayaking, paddle boarding, and taking walks to the local restaurants. It was a one of a kind vacation that we’ll always remember. Thank you for making our stay so awesome! We hope to be back again one day!
