Stylish House To Escape & Relax(closing in August)

GaryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary weekend. As we didn't want to travel to far, what an amazing place it is. You can walk into Clitheroe within no time at all along a lovely Nature reserve if you wish or just along the road. We had an amazing meal at Tom's Table. Just sitting outside on the decking listening to the river flow by was so relaxing and you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. We will be visiting again. Highly recommend for a peaceful break with the option of a lovely village with lots of lovely places to eat and drink.

Romantic Wood Cabin2 spectacular lochside glamping

AmberRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Bolthole is the perfect stay if you are looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Bolthole surrounded by nature and overlooking the loch and hills. It is a truly unique stay and I think it will be hard to beat! Myself and partner celebrated his 30th birthday here, fished in the loch, explored the surroundings and enjoyed the log burner on an evening. We also visited Invarary Castle and town which was only a short drive away. We unfortunately were not lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the osprey but did get lucky to see a barn owl on our last evening right in front of the bolthole. We will remember this trip and hopefully will return in the future!

BeachHouse with Large Private Beachfront Garden.

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Exactly as described a perfect slice of reclusive heaven! Wish the weather was slightly better but hey that's the UK. Amazing, the small personal touches such as the scones were lovely! The dogs loved being in the garden next to the sea- I have never seen so many zoomies! The WiFi really is intermittent but why would you need it, when your view and surroundings are so wonderful!

Amazing views, The Granary

RavivRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Staying at the Granary was idyllic! It was truly magical to stay in such a beautiful stone cottage surrounded by lovely farmland, gardens, and trees. Sanchia was a superb host, responsive and friendly, and their dogs, cat, and ducks were also delightful company! We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and marveling at the view and we were able to easily visit Glendalough for a phenomenal hike. The scones, tea, coffee (including espresso with a moka pot!), and other cooking essentials were greatly appreciated. And I even got to exchange a book from their shelf, so if you see “The Last Murder at The End of The World” feel free to carry it on! Would very happily return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is very quiet and peaceful and yet is less than 10 minutes from the restaurants and shops in Westport. The hot tub was a great addition and the wood-fired nature of it was faster and easier than we anticipated. Highly recommend!

The Cabin

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fantastic cabin. Fantastic host. Fantastic location. A brilliant get away for those seeking to “leave it all behind” for a few days. The cabin is as described. In some cases (especially the bathroom) the pictures do not do it justice. The view is even more exquisite in person. I think it’s what most would dream of having as their get away place. Hall was a fantastic host, whose communication was second to none. The access road is a little steep, but it makes for an adventurous start to your get away. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Hal and David.

Off Grid Cabin Dyfi Forest Snowdonia amazing views

RobRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We stayed over a particularly cold portion of June, but you couldn't tell as there was a super efficient log burner inside, blankets galore and cozy duvet. Daniel was great sent us loads of info before hand and met us with a smile upon arrival, showed us where everything was and explained a bit about the use of facilities then left us to an idyllic stay surrounded by bees and birdsong. Rained really hard overnight the first day but it was perfect to wake up nice and dry (still warm) and see the beautiful scenery through some showery curtains. cooking facilities were great we bbq'd, roasted over a fire, used the top of log burner and even used the gas ring once or twice to boil the kettle ;) overall fantastic stay in nature just enough electric to feel comfortable and ease into a darker evening, super warm and comfortable.

Magical woodland hideaway

AndrewRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Just back from a magical night away with my 6 year old daughter. A beautiful, interesting place to stay. We had hot dogs and marshmallows by the outdoor fire, hot chocolate by the indoor shower, read books, played games, and perhaps the highlight of it all - a morning dip in the river accompanied by an otter! Clare’s communication was great and we had everything we needed.

The Pigsty

AlexanderRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Spent four nights at The Pigsty, had a wonderful time escaping the city buzz and being surrounded by nature. Really enjoyed watching the wildlife around (deer, hares, rabbits) and listening to sounds of nature (heard owl hooting, fox barking, etc.). Naomi was a great host, provided clear instructions and some fresh eggs, milk and other things for breakfast. The cabin was warm and cozy, well-equipped. The BBQ grill and the fire pit made for some amazing evenings. The location was secluded so we barely saw anyone around, but convenient enough to get to Winchester by taxi in just 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend!

Wagon in the Woods & Wine Barrel Hot Tub

KayleeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
An honest to God location plucked straight from a fairytale book! This place is simply MAGICAL! We had the most beautiful, romantic and relaxing stay here enjoying the peace and quiet in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows by the fire. The wagon combines all the comforts of home with a rustic fun atmosphere to it. Word of advice - one night isn't enough! book at least two to explore the area as well (there's a nice pub within walking distance).

By far, my families favorite place we stayed on our two week trip — and we have been to a lot of places!! Jesse was so kind and greeted us they showed us around the property. We stayed in the Hobbit House and it looks even BETTER than it does in the pictures. Such a great experience and incredible hosts. No doubt —— we will be back again!
