Had a wonderful stay at Haven Pod!! The pod was so clean and such a beautiful setting! The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations and there is so much to do nearby! Would definitely come and stay again!! Thanks!

Our family of 3 loved staying in the houseboat. It was a great hideaway in the middle of the city. The boat was even larger than we expected and very comfortable.

Maarten was a lovely host. The living accommodation was exactly as described and shown in the pictures and surprisingly spacious even for my giant husband. It was a short flat easy walk to the historic centre even with little legs in tow. breakfast was yummy with a special treat for my son who was very pleased that Maarten bought him a doughnut. communication was prompt and in perfect English

A moment out of time! We loved our stay at Homeboat. Peaceful environment on the canal, we had the chance to enjoy extremely favorable weather, which allowed us to enjoy the terrace until sunset... magical and very relaxing. Beautiful services of the accommodation, everything is available and very responsive host. 2 small areas for improvement for us: a blind in the children's room, probably present before but missing during our stay. And a small sign announcing the rental would be a plus, because we did not find homeboat right away, but it may be just us;-) and these are two details that do not tarnish the experience in any way. Our only regret is not taking an extra night!

A really quiet and original place. The cabin is spacious and well equipped with a large terrace. Very good hosting by Audrey and very clear explanations as well as excellent flexibility! We'll be there again.

Meg is a gracious, lovely human being. Her narrowboat is very tastefully and efficiently appointed, and you cannot beat the location—a peaceful, waterfront paradise in the hear of London. The 30-minute walk up to the Camden Town markets, including past the zoo and lemurs high above, was fantastic.

We (Mom, dad, and kids of 12 and 15 years) had a great stay in Tom's boat. The boat was in the city of Gent when we rented it, and we really like the city. We were right next to the tram and bus stop, so it was very easy to get around, and it was only a small 30 min walk to the center. Tom has done a great job with this boat. It is huge, so there is a lot of space, and you can really feel that Tom is an artist and has a great eye for beautiful, funny and quirky stuff, so you can spend a lot of hours just enjoying the boat. We also loved to sit outside on the patio, enjoying canal life :D As Tom also wrote to us, it is not a five star hotel, it is a home, but we also felt very much at home and just relaxed a lot. There is 3 bedrooms, so it's just perfect for us. Tom is a very nice guy, and he gave us lots of great recommendations to the local area. It is really worth listening to his suggestions, and he will gladly answer any question you may have. If you are looking for something homie and unique, I strongly recommend Toms boat (And we would love to come back in the future).

We had a wonderful 4 night stay on Water Lodge. A fabulous base for exploring the Isle of Wight. We all slept amazingly well and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay for a family of four. Thank you Yarmouth Harbour!

Quick One – Fantastic. Loved it. Would book again (Weather could not have been better) Longer Version (perhaps for those, like us, whom have not stayed in a Shepherds Hut/this area before) - I found and booked this as was looking for a bit of a break, in isolation, with some nice country around it and a few walks (hopefully to a pub). Jackpot – this was EXACTLY that, and more. The hut is a lovely place to stay. Great location, fantastic places to eat and drink, (some of which are within a relatively easy walking distance (20-40 mins, depending on which way you go)) Hut is not that small. The bed is fantastic – big and comfortable. (My favourite part of the day was waking up early and watching the low morning sun on the fields, sheep, trees and hills beyond, through various windows, from bed…. and I am not usually an early morning person, but this was special). There is quite a lot of attention to detail. It is very well done. Loved the unusual BBQ (want one) and firepit. Thanks E&J

We loved our beautiful unique stay on Trevor’s canal boat. He was friendly, helpful, and provided great info when we arrived. The boat was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The private garden was stunning and well cared for with a hot tub and fire pit to make the evenings extra special. The photos really don’t do it justice - it’s even more beautiful and peaceful in person. Great location with a lovely walk along the canal into town. Highly recommend!

Easily the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in, in the UK or abroad. A true hidden gem. From the moment we crossed the bridge to the island and met Linda, we were welcomed into a world of luxury and peace. The boat is stunning, with everything you could dream of: river views, a sunny terrace with ducks and swans, a fully equipped kitchen (coffee press, bread machine, teas, homemade bread, even ice cream), and a tap with boiling water! The bed is super comfy, the bathroom has both a shower and freestanding bath with spa-like toiletries. Eco climate control made it perfectly cosy. Linda is a fantastic host, responsive, kind and flexible. She even let us stay longer on the last day and use their kayaks. Great location near Hampton Court and Bushy Park, where we did the iconic parkrun. Peaceful yet well connected. We missed it the second we left and can’t wait to return. A magical stay, we feel so lucky to have found it!

A Truly Unique Stay!
We had an unforgettable time staying on this canal boat in Zone 1! The location was absolutely perfect – right in the heart of London, with everything we wanted to see just a short walk or tube ride away. We were close to all the iconic spots, plus heaps of cafes, restaurants, and shops. The boat itself was spectacular. It had so much charm and character, and was super cosy. Everything we needed was right there – from a fully equipped kitchen to comfy bedding. Waking up to the views on the canal was such a special touch – so peaceful and relaxing, yet we were in the middle of the action. Martin, the host, was brilliant – super friendly and gave us plenty of helpful tips for the local area. We’ll definitely be back the next time we're in London. Highly recommend if you're looking for something a little different and a lot of fun!

Loved our stay on the boat. It was so fun trying it out and Hannah was extremely easy to communicate with. The boat itself had everything we needed and was super clean. We would 100% recommend staying here.

We had a very warm welcome from Colm and his lovely, very polite daughters. The houseboat was tucked away in a tranquil setting, with a great view of the lake. We had a very relaxed stay, making the most of the hot tub. We will definitely be back and stay for longer.

We had a fantastic time on the boat with Louise and Nicolas! What incredibly warm and sweet hosts – we felt welcome right away. They were also very sweet to our children, which made the stay extra special. The boat itself is beautiful: sparkling clean, stylishly decorated and taken care of to the last detail. And honestly? In reality, it is even more beautiful than in the photos, which rarely happens! The atmosphere was the perfect balance between family and yet with enough privacy – we had all the space to retreat, but also enjoyed warm, spontaneous moments. In short: absolutely recommended. I've just returned from a 2-night stay on the Ark with a small group of friends and family. On arriving, I met Kerrie, who had just been to do a final check of the boat. She was lovely and made me feel very welcome. The boat is just beautiful and in a gorgeous, peaceful setting. Everything was as described. The boat was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed I slept in was so comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. The hot tub is well worth going in. Very clean and with a great view of the river when inside it. The site the boat is moored at is just lovely. A great cafe where we all had a delicious breakfast in the sun. Although there were quite a lot of people around (the weather was beautifully warm and sunny) we never felt overlooked when sitting on the terrace of the boat. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. York was only a 10-15 minute taxi ride away (costing about £13),making the Ark such a great location for visiting the city. I can't wait to rebook!

wow what can I say,Julian was great host l,his boat is beautiful and the bed was extremely comfy,best air bnb bed ever,wish we could of stayed longer,definitely booking again for longer next time,hopefully we'll see the baby swans nesting right outside the window of the wheelhouse,could not fault the host or the accommodation,hats off to highly recommended

All we expected & more. A truly wonderful place to stay. My partner & I were looking for somewhere to stay for a quiet romantic weekend & this was the perfect place! Beautifully tranquil & relaxing setting. We loved the boat & went out onto the lake a couple of times ☺ If anyone wanted to venture out anywhere, we visited Lydford Gorge one day, which was lovely (only a 15min drive). Kyle was an excellent host, very friendly & communicated everything we needed to know.

What a visit! We’ve absolutely loved every minute of our stay with Patrick and Juliette, they have created the most beautiful living space and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It’s a fantastic spot for either a calm getaway or for if you want to do some exploring, and your hosts have excellent local knowledge that they are happy to share if you need recommendations for the area. We had planned to just relax on the boat for the whole time, but we actually wound up visiting nearby areas (Brighton, the beautiful Sheffield Park, local pubs) before retreating to the boat for the evenings, and we loved this mix. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s been our favourite holiday yet and I’m certain that we’ll be back in future!
