Vacation rentals with a kayak in Brisbane Water

We’ve had an amazing stay at Dave’s place, it’s a great weekend getaway from the city, the hot tub, the cozy fireplace and the kayaking were my highlight. The kitchen has everything you’ll ever need and more. We came back completely fresh and recharged. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The kids had a fun time during the stay, especially the kayaking !! We had a little accident during our kayak and Bec was really quick and responsive to the incident. Would highly recommend any family with kids for their short stay over.

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. Delightful light filled three bedroom cottage which was spotlessly clean. We felt right at home immediately and so comfortable. It didn’t matter where you put your hand in the kitchen, whatever you needed was there. The layout of the kitchen was logical and thoughtful. Huge pantry with various supplies to complement whatever you might be cooking in the kitchen. The beds were comfy and complemented by crisp linen and a variety of pillows. The bathroom was very new and spotless. It is by far the best B n B in which we have stayed. Check in was simple and convenient. The secure parking was a bonus. Sharon and Andrew were marvellous hosts, friendly and helpful. We shall return. Thank you guys for a lovely stay. We felt very welcome.

The treehouse is in such a tranquil and beautiful spot. Inside is very cosy and between the wood stove and gas heater it was toasty warm inside on cold evenings. The kitchen is very well set up with everything you could need for cooking and also a good selection of sauces, tea, coffee and staples. The treehouse has been very thoughtfully set up with nice touches like blankets on the balcony. Highly recommended for a relaxing place to get away close to Sydney..we thoroughly enjoyed it!!

BOOK THE STAY! Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed our weekend here. The hosts are responsive and helpful, the short boat transfer from the marina is seamless ( thanks Collin), and the views from the house are unbeatable. The wifi is fast, the smart TV’a were great , the house is well stocked, and you have everything you need to relax. We had an absolutely magical time and though we live out of the country we will make every effort to come back!

This was a really great place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book there again. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and centrally located….highly recommend!

This riverside home is perfect! Amazing view and garden, warm and cozy (we were there during winter) the rooms have a 10/10 view! A wonderful getaway

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The views were absolutely stunning – waking up to the calm water just outside our window was magical, as was the serene sunset. It was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing two-night stay, including a cheese platter provided. It was the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy nature, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene getaway right on the water!

This place is home away from home, there is everything you would want for a great holiday, from life jackets for you and the kids to all you need in the shower. I would recommend Pavla and Luke's accommodation to anyone looking for a great family holiday.

Howard’s love shack was beautiful and cozy, comfortable bed and enjoyed the views and the outdoor fire. Fishing was interesting, wanted to catch a fish but ended up catching a couple of eels. Had a lovely weekend and will be back soon.

Sophie’s place is a gorgeous spot on the most magical island. Very thoughtfully decorated and every thing you could possibly need for a city escape. Thanks for having us! And thanks for all your tips and recommendations. The live music on Sunday was a treat. Can’t wait to come back soon.

We had a lovely stay at this waterfront property. The views were stunning and the little touches, like a bottle of wine on arrival, were a nice addition. The host was friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a great spot for a relaxing getaway and we’d happily stay again!

4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect — right next to the lake, and just a short walk from the Indian Coffee House restaurant, which was a great bonus. The cabin itself was very well-organized, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to nature made it the ideal getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and conveniently located retreat.

We had a wonderful 3 days in middle of winter. The Chalet was bathed in sunshine all day and we stayed warm all day. The location is extraordinary, right on the water with views of the bay from every window. The perfect spot to watch the sunset. We are looking forward to coming back.

We had a great long weekend stay at Anders' Great Mackeral Cabin. The cabin is a bit tricky to get to with small kids and a bit of luggage but it was an adventure and Anders was extremely helpful in making sure we were well prepared and had everything we needed. Once we were there the cabin had everything we needed and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. The views from the cabin are spectacular and we loved spending some time in the bush and down at the beach. We would definitely travel back to the cabin for another visit.

Cant get over how beautiful our weekend was, staying at this Air BnB. So so peaceful, the house is done so homely. There’s no much to add, as the description depicts it perfectly. I would recommended, highly!!!

Gorgeous place to stay, helpful info from Nicky, wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is so peaceful and loved it even in the cold of winter. Enjoyed paddling there on our kayak from Mooney Mooney, such a stunning part of the world so close to Sydney and wonderful to arrive and enjoy the hot shower and a cup of tea!
