We had a wonderful short stay in the shepherd’s hut, located in convenient reach of Bath. The setting was peaceful and tranquil, offering the perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. We absolutely loved the layout and décor of the hut – thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented. Our two-night stay was to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and this charming retreat couldn’t have been more perfect. The evenings spent at the hut gave us the time and space to reflect, unwind, and simply enjoy each other’s company. Although the hut feels delightfully rural and secluded, it’s still within reach of modern conveniences – the fact that we could get an Uber-delivered takeaway was an unexpected bonus! All in all, a memorable and special stay – we’d highly recommend it.

A thoroughly lovely place to stay. Masses of space, felt like a home with home and everything you could need was there. Spotless and really well appointed and comfy. Susan was easy to contact and accommodating with check, including greeting us with some delicious home grown strawberries!! The house is at the end of cul-de-sac, really quiet and private and close to supermarkets and bus to Bristol or 20 min car ride into the centre and also close enough to Bath. Perfect spot for us to explore both cities.

Beautiful accommodation and the design and styling is outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful, with lovely pubs, cafes and bakery close-by. Sally was so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

Our stay with Chantelle was prefect for the Badminton Horse Trails. It was very clean and peaceful with a comfortable bed. The pub next door was also a nice amenity to have for food and drinks after a long day. I was slightly concerned we would hear noise from the pub but that was not the case even on a busy Friday and Saturday night. Parking was also not an issue either. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to other guests.
