Sawmill Treehouse

LuciaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a lovely time at the Sawmill Treehouse - the perfect winter getaway for a long weekend. The house is beautifully designed and very luxurious. Just the right amount of staples (seasonings, oil, milk and plenty of tea) in the pantry/fridge that made cooking each night effortless, and also lots of thoughtful touches (a bottle of wine, some chocolates, etc) that made our stay feel special. The location is a bit out of the way but not super private - the surrounding residential properties are quite close. Worth noting that the house has heating but the living space was a little cool in the winter weather, and that there’s no curtain to the big living room window (if privacy is a concern). Lovely stay, would highly recommend!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at Judith’s yurt. It was immaculately clean, lovely decorations and furnishings. Very private, but Judith also happy to help with anything if needed. Highly recommended

Gem View - Tiny home

How fun to stay in a tiny house! We picked the Mansfield area because high country, rail trails to cycle, choices for hikes. Weather wasn’t great which was fine, we were so cosy inside watching the weather across the horizon, kangaroos and the lovely views. Weather wasn’t great slept very well, so quiet and comfortable. Cooked our meals. Loved our time there.

Highland Ten - Luxury Rustic Retreat

It was a brilliant stay! The house is much better than in photos and our expectations. Everything was very well equipped, very tastefully decorated and very well thought out. The surrounding area is very beautiful as well, we enjoyed having the horses in our backyard. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, serene and magical escape.

What a beautiful home! We loved our stay at Curia house, such a comfortable, beautifully decorated space where everything has been thought of. Walking distance to town and a great place to base yourself to explore the area. If you’d like a bit of luxury and something special next time you’re in Mansfield I highly recommend this home.

You can see a lot of detailed that Karen has put into this BNB. Heating the room up before we arrived. Everything is just so outstanding. The local information in the file was so useful.

Storers Cottage, Blue Hills Farm

FarnazRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The property is nestled in stunning Australian bushland, surrounded by incredible wildlife—we saw wombats, kangaroos, and even heard kookaburras singing their iconic laughter-like calls at foggy sunrise and sunset. It added such a magical touch to the experience! The neighboring property has a deer farm, offering a beautiful and unexpected view of deer grazing peacefully—something truly special to wake up to. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful artistic details like handcrafted baskets that gave it a warm, inviting feel. Rod, the host, was exceptionally kind—he even lit the fireplace an hour before our arrival, so we walked into a cozy, toasty home. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and comfort!
