Charming cottage with hot tub & private garden

HayleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Gorgeous cosy cottage - just what we wanted. We stayed here with our 3 year old and 8 month old. The place is just as gorgeous as the photos and immaculately clean and comfortable. Kirran is a fantastic host with lovely little extras. 15 min drive from Diggerland and up the road from a lovely little Zoo. The hot tub was fab - would definitely recommend.

The White Cottage Romantic Riverside Retreat

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The White Cottage is a truly magical experience, and combined with Sally’s as the perfect host, we came away from our short break with memories that will last a lifetime. The location is breathtakingly peaceful. A garden within a garden set in landscape where time has good still. The stream that runs through garden is a playground for wildlife and you’ll be sharing your breakfast with ducks and moorhens. If you want a break oozing peace and quiet, a chance to unwind, and forget the day to day life the white cottage has it spades. Sally is a delightful host. Nothing is too much trouble. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. We loved it
A welcoming lounge area is showcased, featuring a cozy seating arrangement with a large sofa and two armchairs. Natural light streams through the window, illuminating the exposed timber beams and art pieces. A wood burner is positioned in the corner, creating a warm focal point.

4 Bed in Saffron Walden (85662)

LizRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Old Farmhouse was one of the best equipped Airbnbs that we have ever stayed in. We particularly loved the hot tub and the four ponies/donkeys. Although you can walk around the fields surrounding the house, you have to drive to Finchingfield for food and drink etc. We had a Sainsbury’s supermarket delivery which worked well.

Daweswood - Luxury countryside cottage, lake & tub

HarryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Me and my friends stayed for a long weekend. The house is beautifully furnished. Every bedroom is as nice as the next. Fishing was on our itinerary, and didn’t disappoint. The lake was very much private and the boats were a worthwhile addition. I (we) couldn’t recommend higher.
A cozy lounge area features a plush brown sectional sofa adorned with decorative cushions. A small coffee table is placed in front, while a festively decorated Christmas tree stands in the corner, illuminated with soft lights and ornaments. Natural light filters in through the window.

Really comfy and generously provided house with lovely bed and sunny back garden. Excellent location with walks straight from the door and plenty of options for eating out or in. I recommend the The River Glem Circular Walk , straight from the door, for those that like a day wandering around the quiet corners of Suffolk countryside.

Cosy Cottage in Rural Setting

TamaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great hosts, very friendly. Very pretty location, we were able to walk in the large garden and enjoy the views. Cottage was very well equipped, fresh milk, bread and eggs left for us, even supplied tea, coffee and cooking condiments. Soaps and washing powder also supplied. Very comfortable beds, all towels supplied. The only let down was the wifi connection which kept dropping even after resetting the router numerous times. Was also not always able to use 4G as the property was quite remote. Otherwise was lovely, highly recommend their property.

This is our second time in Great Amwell and when looking around it was a no brainer that it was going to be Sarah's place - what a lovely couple of days! Sarah is an amazing host, super welcoming, warm and very flexible too. Sarah's place was exactly how we needed it to be - clean, well equipped and it felt like home. We hope to be back again soon. Thank you Sarah for having us :0)

We had a great stay at Lychgate House, it felt like a real home from home. Everything was good and as described and shown in the photos. On top of that the bed was very comfy and it was so quiet at night. Lovely to hear the church bells in the daytime. Marie was a great host, very friendly and helpful.

Nutwood Country Cottage

Christopher LeeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
An amazing house and facilities. Bath was a bit small, but manageable with shower attachment. As listed, the parking is tight and only room for one small car due to the location and period buildings surounding the courtyard, so understandable. But dont be put off, as there is a public car park just behind the high street which we used less than a 2min walk away and is free at the weekends. Only sugestion, it would of been nice to have a small fresh milk and additional complimentary tea/sugar etc, however with shops available a few yards away, no great drama. Overall an amazing cottage, both private yet only yards away from a large selection of shops, pubs and resturants. Hosts were amazing, ease of check in/check out, good comunication. Would definatly come again and already reconmended to friends and family.
