Vacation rentals with a pool in Brenton-on-Sea

Karin’s home is really beautiful and a very special location. Lovely walks to enjoy and the views are beyond beautiful. The kids had a great time in the pool even though it was early autumn and with the pool solar heating it took the edge off. Surprisingly the kids did not complain about there being no TV. We had lots to do, games, walks, reading and exploring the area and local cafes. Worth a visit, we loved our stay!

From booking to checkout Doug and Carla were great hosts. Doug accommodated a late check-in, helped us register with security to access Thesen Island, and took us to the property for a walk-through. The home was spotless, incredibly spacious, and had every utility and modcon you need. A pleasant surprise was the addition of a pool between booking and arrival. The outside space and boat deck make for the ultimate Knysna vacation spent on the water. The restaurants and bars of Thesen Harbour Town are a 5 min walk. We will be back. Thank You!

The venue is beautiful designed so much space with different areas yet not huge. Host was always helpful and responded quickly. We loved the house it was a home

We were met at the home on arrival by Gail.Very friendly.Walked us through the home and explained the functioning of the home.Kept in contact with Gail via texting-she reponded promptly.Fantastic views from the upstairs bedrooms and balconies.Very private and peaceful.Home is in a gated communty so very safe.Short walk or drive into town.Laundry was a bonus.Would definitely recommend.

Our principle contact was Jonathan who couldn’t have done more for us, a superb host who lives nearby. The property is well equipped throughout and located in a safe residential area just 200m from the estuary. We spent 24 wonderful days there. One point is that internal access to the upstairs is by a rather narrow spiral staircase which might not suit all ie elderly but for others ie children a point of excitement. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both the property and hosts as a wonderful home to relax and unwind in. We’ve only found one other to match!

Excellent location in a quiet “side corner”, not 150m walk from the main frontage of the lagoon with its view through The Knysna Heads, and close to Bollard Beach. If it’s privacy you are after it’s hard to beat this location. Not to mention privacy within the home - we loved the unique design of this house where the “master bedroom” is elevated and has two “interleading” doors (with stairs in between) to the rest of the house, making for absolute peace even when other guests are enjoying the kitchen and lounge spaces. The turret room is also exceptionally private, even when other guests are downstairs in the lovely TV lounge. There are several outside lounging spaces, a beautiful garden, two braai options and more than enough space for everyone. The very clean pool with a stunning blue night light was a treat. The kitchen has everything, including gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a very impressive stock of glassware! We loved our stay here! Thank you.

Lovely unit, very well and considerately stocked with milk, tea, coffee, etc. Comfiest couch ever! Highly recommended.

4 Yellowood was an ideal location for 4 adults staying for the weekend with two bathrooms and ample towels, bedding, linen, and crockery. WiFi and DSTV were welcomed additions and parking was more than adequate for the single vehicle. In close proximity to Thesen Island and town, Yellowood felt like home from the get-go.

This place is amazing and exceptionally beautiful. Everything is within walking distance, the restaurants are great. Heather thank you by the time we got there we had all the information and more for activities places to eat and all. We enjoyed and loved our stay.

Our family had a wonderful stay in Brenton. We didn’t want to leave this beautiful place. We loved our amazing view and peaceful surroundings. The home was clean and more than adequately kitted out. Probably the best Air BnB we have stayed in. Thank you for being an amazing host and thinking of the small touches, like the risks and milk in the fridge upon arrival. We will definitely be back.

Mel and John are wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our three week stay with them. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well kitted out. The views across to Knysna Heads is spectacular.
